If you play Polytron’s XBLA title, Fez, then you probably received an update sometime this past week which may or may not have corrupted your game’s save file. Well after issuing a warning about the patch and telling gamers not to access the title, it seems that at least at the moment, fans of the series can once again begin playing Fez.
Microsoft has pulled the patch from Xbox Live and the game will no longer try to force players into patching the title if they haven’t already. For those still undergoing the affects of the patch there is a method which may resolve your problems, which involves clearing your 360’s cache. Currently Polytron is still working on a patch for the patch but at least non-corrupted players can begin playing the title once again.
