The words gun and Batman are usually polar opposites from one another. This is due to the fact that Batman never uses an actual gun but what about the people who try to copy him? Warner Brothers Interactive announced today that they will be making Gotham City Imposters and that it will be a FPS made by F.E.A.R. developer Monolith Productions. the game will be a 4 on 4 multiplayer shooter set in the Batman Universe.
Imposters avoids the whole Batman doesn’t use guns deal by making the player’s play as customizable imposters on either Team Batman or Team Joker. Players will be “posing as amateur vigilantes or villains” and form up their character however they want to through various costumes, gadgets and weaponry. It will be an odd title to say the least and we can expect to see more from Warner Brothers at E3 when they reveal more about the downloadable title.
