The Unlock Xbox Contest Games are now available for free

Videos Xbox 360 Racing Platformer Microsoft News Deals

Last year Unlock Xbox held a competition that required people to think of game concepts and then pitch them in hopes of getting their games created for the whole world to play. Well, 2 finalists were picked and over the last year their games have been in development. The two games are now available for everyone to download from the xbox dashboard COMPLETELY FOR FREE!! These games are full arcade titles with 200 gamerscore to unlock and online modes. Each also has gamer pictures to unlock.

I’ve played both games, and they are both quite fun. Did I mention they were free?

You don’t have any excuse not to download them, and should definitely play them and enjoy them.

Download Harms Way

Download Doritos Crash Course

Check out the trailers below for some insight on the games while you wait for them to download or if you are sitting at work. Also, don’t forget to vote for the best game on the poll that is located on your XBox dashboard.

I haven’t played either extensively. But I have to say, choosing a favorite is going to be hard, but right now I’m leaning towards crash course.
It’s kinda like that TV show wipeout but for your avatar, and I love when it smacks your avatar into the tv screen. 😉

I do like both of them more than Dash of Destruction. That one was kinda cool, but it annoyed me after a while. I think these have a much higher replay value.

Free games. . . Nice!! Looking forward to trying them out!

Finally checked out Doritos Crash Course. What a surprise. Very entertaining for a free title. Trying to beat your friends times is fun and the animations are hilarious.

Haven’t had a chance to check out harms way yet.

Agreed. I tried crash course out too and it surprised me quite a bit. A very fast and entertaining game. The animations as you say are quite comical.

I am having trouble finding Harms Way. I guess I will have to download it via the Xbox website.
