Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime announced for Spring 2011

Feel like busting some ghosts? Well if you have grown tired of Ghostbusters: The Video Game then you are in luck because Atari announced today to USA Today that they will be bringing up a downloadable Ghostbusters game to follow up on 2009’s full retail release. The game itself has been announced for Spring of 2011 and will be available for download on the XBLA, PSN, and PC.

Being developed by Wanako players will be given a top down action game that they can play with a total of four players either at home with them or online. There will be massive boss battles supposedly and characters will be able to drive the Ecto-3 which was a small let down in the last game when you found out that you could not. Bad news is that the original voice actors will not be returning to voice their characters, so that means no Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, or even Harold Ramis and what will Ghostbusters be without them?
