Babysitting Mama Now Available for the Nintendo Wii!

For those looking for an interesting way to play a game or the perfect gift for a younger gamer in the family, Babysitting Mama is now available in stores! Like most “Mama” titles, the player must complete 40 short mini-games with Mama. What makes this one different though is the plush baby that is bundled with the title that let’s players use it as a controller. Just pop in your WiiMote to the baby and begin activities from feeding, changing and playing peek-a-boo, to racing the baby through an obstacle course.

Here is an official statement about the release from Majesco:

“We are thrilled to bring Babysitting Mama to market,” said Jesse Sutton, CEO, Majesco Entertainment. “The game represents the alignment of true innovation, strong brand, overwhelming retail support and solid marketing strategy. We can’t wait for girls to bring Babysitting Mama home this holiday season so they can share this unique experience with friends and family.”

Babysitting Mama features six unique babies, each with his or her own personality and needs, along with a range of indoor and outdoor environments that Mama and baby can play in. The plush baby also “comes to life” as cries and coos play through the Wii Remote inside the baby, making it seem as if baby is responding directly to the player’s care. The game even supports two-player mode, so friends can see who the better babysitter is! When the game is off, players can continue to play with the baby, and even use the cradle packaging as part of the play experience.

Honestly, after playing and enjoying the recent title Crafting Mama, I have a feeling this will be filled with solid gameplay as well as appeal for parents that are looking for that perfect game for the kids this year during the holidays. The whole bundle retails for $49.99 and is now available wherever video games are sold. For more information, check out the official website at www.babysittingmama.com
