Final Fight Double Impact out NOW

Xbox 360 Playstation 3 News Capcom Action

Yes I know you all know and that I’ve probably flogged it to you more than a few times but this will be the last time :

FINAL FIGHT : Double Impact is out today for XBOX and tomorrow on PS3 via the PSN Store.

Check out the details below.  If all goes well, we might have a review of the game soon.

Capcom’s duo of classic arcade titles takes centre stage today with the release of Final Fight: Double Impact on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 800 MS points and on PlayStation Network tomorrow for $9.99.

Final Fight follows the adventures of Cody, Guy and Haggar – three heroes fighting their way across a crime ridden Metro City in the hopes of saving Haggar’s daughter from the evil clutches of Mad Gear. What better way to warm up for the release of Super Street Fighter IV than to take a trip down memory lane and experience the Final Fight beat’em-up insanity all over again. In Magic Sword users will take on the role of the “hero”, a brave warrior who bears the daunting responsibility of cleansing evil forces from an ancient tower. This side scrolling action illustrated in classic fantasy stylings makes for a perfect pairing with Final Fight.

Final Fight and Magic Sword utilise Capcom’s proprietary graphics engine so both can shine in crisp HD glory or you can choose to toggle back to classic mode and experience the game in it’s original arcade format. The multiplayer features will allow gamers to relive the classics with friends online. Fighters can jump straight in on a fight and work their way up the leader boards to compete for bragging rights as well as collect achievements and trophies to unlock extras.

If you have it and would like to share your experience with either both games leave a comment here or in the forums or on our FACEBOOK PAGE !!

    Wooo hoooo!

Payday is tomorrow, and this one will be mine.

They really should have done an HD Remix for these and charged $15. I don’t think anyone would complain at paying $15 for 2 full games that have been made beautiful again (let’s face it, these games are uggo now)

An HD remake would be a lot better, what they did was just put some filters, some small changes, and that $10 pricetag. I would welcome a HD remake for $15 too.
