BioShock 2 crowned February’s best seller!

BioShock 2 is officially crowned the best seller for February. With sales smashing the 500,000 unit mark, the developers of BioShock 2 will be very happy that it exceeded the sales of the New Super Mario Bros. on Wii by ~7000 extra units. Call of Duty for Xbox 360 came in third, and when the PS3 version is added, they sold a staggering 567,100 copies!

Here are February’s top ten games in the U.S from the NPD group.

01. BioShock 2 (Xbox 360) – 562,900

02. New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii) – 555,600

03. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Xbox 360) – 314,300

04. Just Dance (Wii) – 275,400

05. Wii Sports Resort (Wii) – 272,500

06. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS3) – 252,800

07. Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360) – 246,500

08. Dante’s Inferno (PS3) – 242,500

09. Dante’s Inferno (Xbox 360) – 224,700

10. Heavy Rain (PS3) – 219,300

    Bioshock 2 deserves the number 1 spot. Although the story isn’t quite as much as the first, it has a very fun and addicting multiplayer.

    It’s a shame Heavy Rain didn’t sell more in my opinion. Such a good game.

    I expected to see Bioshock 2 for the PS3 on the list too. I still have to play it, but i’m not really excited for this second game like i was with the first.

    Hmm, just saw that the DLC is apparently already on the discs, and you just pay for an “unlock” of the content… kinda lame, 2k
