TOKYO – Feb. 21, 2024 – ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom In The Mist, the sequel to the critically-acclaimed dark fantasy metroidvania fairy tale ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights which sold more than 1.4 million copies from publisher Binary Haze Interactive as well as developers Adglobe and Live Wire, purifies supernatural curses on Nintendo Switch in 2024, as shown during today’s Nintendo Direct.

Decades after the Rain of Death, a new journey begins in the Land of Fumes, where mystical powers lie beneath the earth. The kingdom’s desire for conquest led to the creation of the Homunculi, machine-like artificial life forms prepared to execute the king’s will. A recent resource-harvesting mission gone awry caused toxic vapors to emerge from underground, driving both man and machine to feral madness.

As the Homonculi devolve into dangerous creatures, guide Lilac –- an “Attuner” with the power to purify those infected by the fumes — on a quest to save the kingdom. With the help of friendly machines and spirits who fight in Lilac’s stead, fend off mechanized legions of lunging carcasses, cannonball-firing corpses and chainsaw-wielding goblins terrorizing the land.

Today, Minecraft announced it will be introducing Add-ons to the Minecraft Marketplace for Minecraft Bedrock edition. 

Add-ons are like mods – they change the way that things in the game look and behave – and unlike a lot of other Marketplace content, they can be applied to your existing worlds. With Add-Ons, you can add custom blocks, items, mobs, recipes, and other game content to your worlds. For example, an Add-on might create a gravestone where a player dies, safely storing their items until broken, or add a portal that players can build to connect two points in the overworld. Add-ons can be applied to multiplayer worlds and Realms, and only the world owner needs to own the Add-on. In addition, we want to emphasise that players can continue installing non-Marketplace mods — We have no plans to remove the ability to sideload mods from popular third-party websites or mobile apps that are compliant with the Minecraft End-User License Agreement (EULA). 

Think of this initial launch as a “snapshot” of what Add-ons will look like in the future – a preview meant to test them out and gather feedback from the community with more to come later this year.

Manila, 21 February – Award-winning indie studio Orc Chop Games, has released a new trailer and announced that their Narrative turn-based RPG, Goblin Stone, will launch on Steam and Epic Games Store on 12 March for $24.99.

Developed by Orc Chop Games, Goblin Stone is an epic turn-based RPG with roguelike elements, where players help goblins survive after being hunted to near extinction. They will assemble a merry party of goblins and navigate a treacherous path to survival, battling nefarious adventurers, pompous elves, and grumpy dwarfs, in a world brought to life through nostalgic, storybook-inspired hand-drawn visuals. 

Goblin Stone’s heartwarming narrative blends with strategic gameplay as players venture through procedurally-generated adventures, where permanent death heightens the stakes. Players will also build a sprawling underground lair, from the barracks to the war room, where a goblin breeding system allows them to combine the best goblin genes, improve their attributes and customize their fighters for the battles ahead. 

Goblin Stone is fully narrated by Scottish voice actor James Smillie, with music from award-winning composer Peter McConnell known for his work on Hearthstone, Psychonauts and Monkey Island.

Players can choose through hundreds of combinations between Goblin classes, weapons, abilities, map traversal. The game has over 40 hours of gameplay, 60 different enemy types, over 150 fully illustrated story images and 25 Boss battles.
