Big-name collabs with Porsche and Persona 5 headline a packed livestream, alongside spotlights on gameplay and tech specs

BEIJING, CHINA (April 20, 2026) | Publisher Perfect World Games and developer Hotta Studio are kicking off the week with some big updates for their upcoming supernatural urban open-world RPG, NTE (Neverness to Everness), ahead of its launch on PC, Mac, PlayStation5, iOS, and Android on April 29, 2026.

In the latest livestream update, fans were treated to a first look at two exciting new collaborations, as well as more tantalizing glimpses of key gameplay systems. 

Iconic Brand and IP Collaborations
First up is the news that NTE will welcome two iconic brands to its bustling urban world:

• Porsche: Fully embracing the spirit of “Driven by Dreams,” automotive giant Porsche will be bringing the jaw-dropping 918 Spyder to the vibrant streets of Hethereau. More details to be announced soon!
• Persona 5: The legendary JRPG crosses over to the world of NTE, with the distinctive rhythms of Persona 5 Royal and Persona 5: The Phantom X to be available via the in-car radio and the new “walkman” feature, allowing you to strut the streets in style while exploring the city on foot. 

Character Roster and Social Systems
Next up, we’ve got an early preview of two new recruits available for a limited time following launch: 

• Nanally (14-Day Banner): A cat-girl with gravity-defying abilities, offering unparalleled freedom in vertical exploration. 
• Hotori (21-Day Banner): Owner of the Eben Antique Shop, capable of manipulating time to dominate the battlefield.

In addition, there was also a first look at Standard Banner recruit, Aurelia, along with details of the Enhanced Bond System, encouraging a deeper connection between players and the characters of NTE through improved voice acting and animations, and meaningful interactions at locations throughout the world, such as date spots and spontaneous street-level encounters in the sprawling urban environment of Heathereau. 

Immersive Urban Activities
NTE is designed as a living, breathing urban playground where music, speed, and supernatural mystery converge. The city is more alive than ever, thanks to expanded side-activities:

• City Tycoon & Social Life: Reach new fishing milestones to unlock exclusive skins for Zero. The “Swift Travel” system now features interactive requests from acquaintances.
• Mini-Games: Challenge friends or bots in the newly implemented Little Sparrow (Mahjong) system, featuring unlockable tables and Mahjong tile skins.
• Pink Paws Heist: A revamped multiplayer mode with a fresh reward system, allowing players to earn exclusive outfits and vehicles through cooperative play.

• Polished Mechanics: From character models to basic movement and environmental interactions, every detail has been refined to provide a more responsive, tactile gameplay feel.

Goku (Super Saiyan 4, DAIMA) joins DRAGON BALL FighterZ

A new gameplay trailer unveiled that Goku (SS4, DAIMA) will join the fight in DRAGON BALL FighterZ as part of the new DAIMA DLC, launching on April 22. Players can deflect every blow and unleash a relentless offense with Wild Dash, a move that can further branch into four other techniques, including Double Combination, Raging Strike, Power Swing and Quick Move.

New details were revealed for the upcoming DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO DLC. Playable characters “Vegeta (GT)” and “Trunks (GT)” are making their first appearance in the Budokai Tenkaichi series, and the update also includes a new costume and Super Attack for “Goku (Z – End)” that represent a fan-favorite iconic moment. Additionally, a new solo mode will allow players to select unlocked characters and receive EXP through battle and events to empower their favorite characters and push them to even greater heights.

This subterranean hideout is where a wide range of collectible Batsuits can be stored and displayed – from the Golden Age suit inspired by the Caped Crusader’s debut look in the original Detective Comics #27 (1939) issue to the most recent suit featured in The Batman (2022) film, and everything in between. Overall, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has 100 different outfits for playable characters, including an array of suits for both Batman and his crime-fighting allies. 

The Batcave also functions as the ultimate garage for Batman’s iconic vehicles, housing an impressive lineup of Batmobiles and Batcycles, all faithfully recreated in LEGO brick form. This includes the over-the-top flair from the classic Batman TV series (1966–1968) car, complete with the signature red pinstriping; the gothic style Batmobile from Batman (1989); the skeletal design from Batman Forever (1995); the heavy-duty Tumbler from The Dark Knight Trilogy (2005, 2008, 2012); and many more. 

Additionally, the Batcave is where players will upgrade gadgets, display trophies, review case files via the Batcomputer, and personalise the environment with a variety of LEGO‑themed furnishings – even a personal gym. 

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is an all-new open-world action-adventure videogame inviting players to embark on Bruce Wayne’s epic journey to become the hero of Gotham City, from origin to legend, inspired by decades of Batman films, television shows, comic books, and games, combined with DC lore and TT Games’ signature brand of fun-filled LEGO humour.  

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight launches worldwide on May 22, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). Pre-orders are available now for the Standard and Deluxe Editions of the game on the aforementioned platforms. Deluxe Edition pre-orders will receive 72-hour early access, now beginning on May 19, prior to the main launch. All pre-orders will receive The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit (at launch), inspired by the acclaimed comic book series. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game will launch later in 2026 and can be Wishlisted now. 

Players can unlock the Golden Age Batsuit (at launch), accessible for eligible users who create a Warner Bros. Games account, as well as those who already have an account. 

Four new LEGO DC Batman sets are available now, each including in-game digital content redeemable when LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight releases. The LEGO® DC Batman™: Batman Logo set will unlock an exclusive gold Batsuit for the videogame, and the LEGO® DC Batman™: The Batman™ Batmobile™, LEGO® DC Batman™ Batman v Superman™ Batmobile™, and LEGO® DC Batman: Batman & Robin™ Batmobile™ sets include an in-game playable version of each respective vehicle, plus an exclusive gold variant of each vehicle, for the videogame. New Main Scenario Quests, Beastmaster Limited Job, Echoes of Vana’diel Part 3 – Windurst: The Third Walk, and More to Arrive in Upcoming Game Updates

During Saturday’s Letter from the Producer LIVE broadcast, SQUARE ENIX revealed more information on the latest major patch for FINAL FANTASY XIV Online. Patch 7.5, titled Trail to the Heavens, was again confirmed for a 28th April release date.

The trailer, introduced by Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida showcased a variety of additions and updates set to arrive with the patch, including main scenario quests, the final instalment of the Echoes of Vana’diel alliance raid series, the next update to Occult Crescent, a new dungeon, a new Ultimate difficulty raid, a look at the new limited job—Beastmaster, and much more.
