European Tour DLC Brings More Multistorey Car Parks To Parking Garage Rally Circuit On April 27th

Europeans can show pride in their carpark heritage as cult indie hit doubles in size with new tracks inspired by real multistories

Los Angeles, CA – April 16th, 2026 – Parking Garage Rally Circuit – solo-dev Walaber’s cult hit indie title that puts rally racing with Mario Kart-inspired physics into the confines of car parks – is doubling in size when the new European Tour DLC comes to Steam on April 27th. The European Tour doubles the size of the game, adding 8 multistorey car parks inspired by real locations to drift through on top of the original 8 American parking garages, as well as a full new soundtrack from The Holophonics, the band behind the catchy tunes that graced the original. A release date for the console versions of Parking Garage Rally Circuit and European Tour will be announced at a later date.

Visit multistory car parks in Paris (Art Car Park), York (York Castle Car Park), Turin (Car Factory), Montpellier (Double Loop), Hamburg (Concert Hall), Copenhagen (Power Plant), Geneva (Parking Tour) and Naples (Cave Park) as you drift and boost your way to victory in the single-player mode, or against other players online. These locations are all inspired by real multistorey carparks, though the odd underwater tunnel or falling stalactites may suggest a touch of artistic liberty.

Designed to look, feel and sound like a lost Sega Saturn game that could have been released in 1998, Parking Garage Rally Circuit delivers delightfully fun racing that’s easy to pick up and play with its chainable Mario Kart-style boosts, but requires skill to master as you unlock new car classes and compete to top the leaderboards. Head online to create and join lobbies of up to 8 players and race on any track, with any car class, gaining points after each race. The game also features an arcade-style ‘Endurance’ mode where you keep doing laps until you run out of time and cheat codes to discover that unlock fun modifiers, as well as special cars and tracks.

While players are waiting for the European Tour to hit on April 27th, the base version of Parking Garage Rally Circuit featuring 8 American car parks to race in is available now on Steam for $9.99 / €8.99 / £8.50. If you can’t wait at all, Parking Garage Rally Circuit DX, a version of the game that features the base title plus all the European Tour content, is available now Wavedash for $14.99.

Meridiem Confirms Late May Release for I Hate This Place Elena’s Edition

Enjoy your stay in the worst place on earth!

Madrid, Spain – 16 April, 2026. Meridiem is pleased to announce that I Hate This Place Elena’s Edition will launch for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on 29th May, 2026. Developed by Rock Square Thunder and digitally published by Feardemic, in partnership with Skybound Entertainment, I Hate This Place is a craft-focused, isometric survival horror game filled with twisted monsters and warped realities, all wrapped in a bold comic book art style and dripping with an ’80s horror vibe.

Meridiem is responsible for designing and manufacturing the physical Elena’s Edition of I Hate This Place for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, which will be the only physical boxed edition available during the launch period, and will include a copy of the game, a special effect cover, a secret letter from Elena, and an artbook.

I Hate This Place is inspired by Skybound’s Eisner Award-nominated comic book series created by writer Kyle Starks and artist Artyom Topilin.

Players take on the role of Elena, whose fight for survival begins when she and her friend unwittingly summon a malevolent force. Outmatched and hunted in a hostile world, players will need to stay vigilant, loot their surroundings, and pick their battles carefully against formidable foes, many of which hunt you by sound.

Features

  • Classic craft-based survival horror: scavenge every corner of Rutherford Ranch to stay alive. From haunted forests, a derelict town, to infested bunkers. Explore a world teeming with danger as you gather vital resources, craft essential gear, upgrade your campsite, and rebuild outposts to have somewhere to hide.
  • Day prepares you, night hunts you: a dynamic day-night cycle that changes the world. Use daylight wisely to explore, scavenge supplies, craft what you need, and prepare for what’s coming. When night falls, the real nightmares come out to play. More enemies appear, stronger and more aggressive than before. The landscape becomes harder to navigate with just your flashlight. Sometimes your best hope is to find shelter and hunker down till morning.
  • Deadly silence goes a long way: stealth and combat go hand-in-hand here as many of the twisted creatures in Rutherford Ranch hunt and stalk you by sound alone. Brute force will often just land you in an early grave. Use sound to your advantage, luring creatures away from your path or cleverly leading them straight into deadly traps you laid.
  • 80’s vibes meets coming book flair: inspired by the award-nominated comic book series created by Kyle Starks and Artyom Topilin, I Hate This Place comes to life with bold colors, a punchy retro comic book style, and a heavy dose of ’80s flair. A unique blend of horror, dark humor, and just the right touch of camp and gore where unsettling dread meets stylized charm.

I Hate This Place will launch as a physical edition for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on May 29, 2026. You can now pre-order the physical edition via specialist stores across Europe and America (Standard Edition).

Birds of a Feather – Illustrated Adventure “The Day I Became a Bird” Is Out Today

A tender tale exploring first love, bravery, and a passion for birds

London, April 16th 2026 – Numskull Games and PASSION Games, in collaboration with Hyper Luminal Games, can confirm The Day I Became a Bird, a heartfelt narrative adventure inspired by children’s literature and animated storytelling, launches on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation today.

The Day I Became a Bird follows Frank, a quiet child with big emotions, as he experiences his first crush on Sylvia, a girl who only has eyes for our feathered friends. This cosy adventure plays out across classrooms, playgrounds, and imagined spaces, as Frank navigates his first feelings of love, shyness, and self-expression. Through exploration, collecting, and light puzzle-solving, he sets out on a simple mission: to win Sylvia’s attention.

Adapted from a storybook by French author Ingrid Chabbert and Spanish illustrator Guridi, alongside an accompanying animated short by Passion Animation, the game carries over its distinctive visual style into an interactive format. With gentle, understated gameplay, it aims to be warm, inviting, and emotionally resonant, offering a more reflective experience in contrast to the fast-paced, high-pressure nature of many games.

The Day I Became a Bird builds on PASSION’s heritage in animation and storytelling, combined with Hyper Luminal Games’ strength in crafting heartfelt narrative adventures, resulting in a hand-crafted, illustrative experience. The focus is placed on atmosphere, movement, and emotional clarity over traditional mechanics, positioning the title as much as a narrative journey as it is a game.

“The journey to this moment has been incredibly exciting for everyone involved, and we can’t wait to finally share The Day I Became a Bird with everyone,” says Andrew Ruhemann, founder and CEO at PASSION Animation. “From the very beginning, we set out to create something gentle, expressive, and full of feeling, and seeing it arrive in players’ hands on launch day is a proud and emotional milestone for the team.”

“Bringing Frank’s story to players around the world is a truly wonderful feeling,” adds Chabbert. “What began as something small and personal has grown into an experience people can now explore for themselves. We hope that, as they play, they connect with those same emotions – the tenderness, the awkwardness, and the quiet courage of first love – and make the story their own.”

The Day I Became a Bird launches on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation today and is available in two editions:

  • The standard edition, which includes the base game, is £12.99/€14.99/$19.99.
  • The Feathered Adventurer Edition bundles the base game and film with a digital artbook and original soundtrack on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation for £17.99/€19.99/$24.49.
  • Players who purchase either addition via Steam or PlayStation will also receive the original short film.

The Day I Became a Bird has been selected for the London Games Festival’s 2026 Official Selection, and is playable at the Festival’s New Game Plus event on April 16 and 17.

DISCOVER THE SECRETS OF R’LYEH IN CTHULHU: THE COSMIC ABYSS, OUT NOW ON PC AND CONSOLES

Lesquin, France, April 16, 2026 – NACON and the studio Big Bad Wolf are pleased to announce the release of their new narrative investigation and psychological horror game, Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss.

Players take on the role of Noah, an occult investigator, tasked with unraveling the mystery of the disappearance of miners in the depths of the Pacific Ocean. An investigation that will lead him to the gates of the sunken city of R’lyeh, depicted for the first time in a video game.

With Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, the studio delivers its most ambitious project to date, now available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

A futuristic reimagining of the Lovecraftian universe

The investigation takes place in 2053, in a world where natural resources are depleting, and natural disasters are multiplying. This situation pushes industrial giants to scour the seabed in search of rare materials. Noah, an investigator specializing in occult cases, is assigned a new mission in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, where an underwater mining station is no longer responding.

Noah is accompanied by his personal artificial intelligence, KEY, a true psychological safeguard who, in the face of growing horror, preserves his lucidity and prevents him from sinking into madness.

The fascinating city of R’lyeh in all its cyclopean splendor

In Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, players enter R’lyeh, the prison-city of Cthulhu, for the first time. Designed as a trap that defies all human logic, its unbelievable architecture bewilders players. As they progress, the player’s sanity is put to the test in this environment that should never have been explored by Humankind.

This palpable tension is reinforced by the encounters Noah has as he advances through the city, such as the Shoggoth that connoisseurs will recognize.

The immersion in this world is perfected by the musical compositions of Nicolas Garcia. Performed notably by cellist Tina Guo. They act as the very pulse of R’lyeh, highlighting Noah’s inexorable progression towards madness.

The player at the center of an investigation game with supernatural dimensions.

In his quest for the truth, Noah uses various tools provided by KEY:

  • Clue Analysis: Analyzing or manipulating an object provides Noah with important information thanks to KEY’s knowledge. Each analysis reveals an object’s composition and unlocks new frequencies for the sonar, allowing for the tracking of other elements with a similar composition.
  • The Sonar: This multitasking tool allows for progression in the dark by revealing hidden passages. The sonar can exploit discovered frequencies to find new clues by following certain tracks. It also allows the player to reveal the invisible.
  • Energy: Analyzing consumes energy. Noah must use this resource carefully: if he runs out while analyzing objects, his corruption gauge increases. Energy recovery is linked to an organic resource scattered throughout the game.
  • The Vault: This is where KEY gathers all the clues and documents discovered. It is an essential tool for solving puzzles by unlocking important deductions to advance the investigation.
  • Artifacts and Upgrades: The player discovers strange artifacts that can improve some of the investigation tools. But be careful, these upgrades are vulnerable: they can be destroyed depending on the player’s choices.

Noah evolves in a world where Cthulhu’s influence is a constant threat, with each decision potentially strengthening the Great Old One’s grip on his mind. Most chapters also offer alternative resolutions that directly impact his corruption level. The latter is a key element that will alter not only the course of the investigation but also its conclusion.

Oba Femi SNME ‘25 will be available to all players in Tier 40 of the Ringside Pass Season 2 Free Track.

Making their debut in 1987, Demolition, consisting of Ax and Smash, cut a menacing appearance in studded leather gear and face paint, stomping into the arena to the tune of one of the most iconic entrance themes in WWE history. Their dreaded “Demolition Decapitation” finishing maneuver combined a backbreaker and flying elbow drop, and brought a brutal end to many of their matches. Joined by Crush in 1990, Demolition would capture the WWE Tag Team Championships three times and solidify their status as future WWE Hall of Famers. Their finisher, entrance theme, and both two-man and three-man entrance animations will all be available in WWE 2K26.

Debuting as a dancer tantalising ECW crowds at just 19 years old, Kelly Kelly crossed paths with an array of personalities including WWE 2K26 Standard Edition cover star CM Punk, The Sandman, and Torrie Wilson, before joining the “Extreme Exposé” dance crew and eventually becoming an in-ring competitor. Making her way to Raw, then SmackDown, then back to Raw via the WWE Draft, Kelly Kelly defeated Brie Bella in 2011 to win the WWE Divas Championship. She also captured the WWE 24/7 Championship at the Raw Reunion event in 2019, becoming the first female competitor to hold the title.

Three unique new Personas available in the Ringside Pass Season 2 Premium Track emerge straight from the Wasteland of Kairos: Rhea Ripley “Ripper Queen,” CM Punk “Ripper,” with and without mask, and Becky Lynch “Lilith.” Each of these new Personas comes with unique entrance music and animations that can also be used with other Superstars or Create-A-Superstars, including massive mechanical limbs and flaming wings. A total of 19 customisable parts, including a “Ripper” mask, are also included.

Throughout the Premium Track of the Ringside Pass, players will also find some new Create-A-Superstar parts and moves, including Stephanie McMahon’s black corset and thigh-high boots from WrestleMania 32, and a collection of Ripple Junction shirts.

Packed With Content, Chess Kingdom Adds Kung Fu Chess and Kung Fu Chess Extreme in Early Access

Pinch Games expands its $2.99 chess game with simultaneous real-time chess and a never-before-seen buff progression system, all included in a single purchase

Pinch Games today released two new game modes for Chess Kingdom, its chess game currently in Early Access on Steam. The update introduces Kung Fu Chess, a simultaneous real-time variant where both players move without waiting for turns, and Kung Fu Chess Extreme, an original take on the format featuring a piece buff system built around classic chess theory.

In Kung Fu Chess, turns are removed entirely. Both players move simultaneously in real time: no waiting, no alternating. The game ends when a king is physically captured rather than checkmated, creating a fast, high-pressure experience that rewards timing and anticipation as much as strategy.

Kung Fu Chess Extreme builds on this foundation with a progressive buff system. As players move pieces, they fill a bar divided into five tiers, each tier unlocking an additional piece type that can execute a double move. The tier thresholds are based on classical chess piece values: pawns unlock first, followed by knights, bishops, rooks, and finally the queen. The buff bar fills continuously across the game, rewarding active play without resetting between tiers.

Both modes are available now within Quick Match alongside standard chess. Players can select their preferred variant before each game.

Psychological Horror Game Dread Neighbor Stalks a 7 May Launch for PC

New DLC arriving for the petrifying prequel with very positive reviews, Dread Flats, on 30 April

HANGZHOU, China – 16 April 2026 – Dread Neighbor, the first-person psychological horror game and sequel to Dread Flats which sold more than 60,000 units in its first month, takes thriller fans on a heart-pounding experience via Steam starting Thursday, 7 May 2026. Indie studio ghostcase will release a brand new DLC for Dread Flats two weeks earlier on Thursday, 30 April 2026.

Combat the constant feeling of unease evoked by a progressive loop system where subtle environmental shifts slowly erode any sense of safety and reality. Navigate high-pressure encounters in familiar environments brimming with darkness, tension, and suspense.

Endure the terrifying duality of feeling alone, and constantly watched by an unseen observer. Get well acquainted with the normal routine of a young woman living by herself in the city – feeding the cat, commuting to work, going to bed, repeat. But normality is a distant hope in these seedy apartments.

Expanding upon the popular demo, the full release will feature multi-perspective storytelling, new indoor and outdoor locations, as well as intense chase sequences. Experience an all-to-familiar tale from the perspective of multiple victims. Pierce through the dreadful noise to piece together the full story and confront the hard truths lying beneath the horror.

Dread Neighbor continues the developers signature focus on psychological pressure and immersive storytelling. It introduces new elements to this formula such as enhanced visuals and a dynamic narrative structure built to deliver a more grounded and oppressive experience transforming fear from a sudden shock into an inescapable state.

Dread Neighbor offers a twisted and extreme projection of the very real fear many people feel while living alone,” said developer ghostcase. “It evolves from a contained, oppressive experience into a more layered and complete psychological horror journey as you play.”

Dread Neighbor will launch on Windows PC via Steam on Thursday, 7 May 2026 for $5.99 USD/€6.15/ ¥790 with English, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Spanish – Spain, Russian, Japanese, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Portuguese – Brazil, and Portuguese – Portugal language support.
