New Looks for Additional Titles in Development Include Opening Animation for Monster Farming / Action Title Farmagia and Striking New Teaser for DAEMON X MACHINA: Titanic Scion
London, U.K. — May 31, 2024 — Marvelous Europe today shared a localised version of parent company Marvelous Inc.’s second annual ‘Marvelous Game Showcase’. President Suminobu Sato hosted the showcase and was joined by key members of development teams to provide updates on titles announced in last year’s event and announce new regional and global initiatives for the Marvelous family of companies.
Farmagia (formerly Project Magia): Product Manager Takehiro Ishida revealed the official title of the project, Farmagia, and presented the game’s opening animation, giving gamers an action-packed look at the cast of characters and powers they wield. Ishida-san also shared details on key characters in the game, designed by popular artist Hiro Mashima, including Ten, the protagonist who often acts before thinking; Arche, his childhood friend who balances both kindness and a competitive nature; Chica, another childhood friend with a more reserved demeanour; and Lookie-Loo, Ten’s sidekick and de-facto mascot. The title is planned for a global release in 2024.
STORY OF SEASONS: The next, as-yet-untitled entry in the beloved franchise continues its development as the team focuses on improvements to the visual presentation and natural environments. Series Manager Hikaru Nakano joined to debut a fresh look at the results of their efforts, highlighting how aspects such as updated natural lighting and festival fireworks have been improved to enhance immersion and atmosphere. The project remains in active development and will be fully revealed at a later date. In the meantime, Nakano-san confirmed new gameplay features including a player-controlled glider and the return of fan-favorite pets.
Amusement Section: Marvelous Inc. supports more than just PC and console entertainment and announced a number of new arcade initiatives.
Indie Partner Lineup: The Marvelous family continues to invest in helping creative and exciting visions from smaller indie developers become a reality with global support for titles! Titles introduced for worldwide release include Bitsummit 2023 Grand Prize winner Death the Guitar, where players become an electric guitar fighting with the power of death metal to avenge their owner, planned for a 2025 release; and Moonlight Peaks, the supernatural-themed vampire farming/life sim title from Dutch developer Little Chicken, scheduled for 2026 release. One additional title, Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus, was also presented for release in Asia and Japan by Marvelous on July 28, 2024.
Rune Factory: Following a brief history on the evolution of the Rune Factory series and how it has grown across nine titles released over 18 years, Rune Factory series Director Shiro Maekawa joined the stream to reveal a new video for Rune Factory: PROJECT DRAGON sharing a look at the title’s protagonists. Players can choose to play as either Subaru or Kaguya, two new Earthmates with a twist; they will use the power of dance, rather than farming, to communicate and interact with the world around them. This new approach to interacting with the world comes with non-combat tools, including parasols and drums; series staple weapons like swords; and brand-new weapon types to experiment with, including bows and talismans.
DAEMON X MACHINA: Titanic Scion: First revealed during last year’s Marvelous Game Showcase, DAEMON X MACHINA: Titanic Scion once again closed out the show, where President Sato-san shared an evocative look at Marvelous’ First Studio’s mech-action sequel. Additional details including platforms and a release window will be announced at a later date.

TOKYO – May 30, 2024 – Video game publisher and developer Cygames, Inc. (HQ: Shibuya, Tokyo; President: Koichi Watanabe, hereinafter referred to as “Cygames”) has announced the third free major update coming to the action RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and Steam® on May 31. Included in this update are challenging new quests, new playable character Sandalphon, Photo Mode, and other additional content.
Soar High with an All-New Crewmate, Take On All-New Challenges
Free update Version 1.3.0 introduces an all-new playable character: Sandalphon, protector of the Sky Realm. Originally debuted in the Granblue Fantasy browser game, Sandalphon became leader of the four primarchs: angelic beings who govern the four elements. Now he descends upon Relink to lend his blade to the crew’s cause.
Sandalphon is free to unlock by completing certain in-game requirements. Alternatively, players may opt to purchase his Character Expansion Set (paid DLC) to unlock him immediately.
Included with this update are three challenging quests which pit players against several powerful boss-level monsters. Additionally, Lucilius, who appeared in the Version 1.1.0 update as the game’s most perilous foe, will take on an even more menacing form in a new quest dubbed “Zero”. This fight promises to test the limits of even the most battle-hardened skyfarers.
Capture the Moment with Photo Mode; Share Your Journey with Relink’s Photo Contest
Photo Mode is another addition coming in this update. Using its various tools and features, players can set up perfect shots of their Relink adventure. Skyfaring photographers with higher aspirations are also encouraged to participate in Relink’s Photo Contest, which is accepting entries as of today.

Other update features include Sigil Synthesis, which allows players to fuse legendary sigils to mix sigil traits; a map overlay, which displays key locations, treasure chests, and wee pincers; as well as new control scheme options. Check the Version 1.3.0 Patch Notes for more details.

Story

It has been a couple of years now since Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have released a Dynasty Warriors game in any form, including its Empires spin-off. In fact if you go back to just the numbered games, it has been six years since Dynasty Warriors 9 was released to a less than stellar reception with the various changes made to the game and while Omega Force has been staying busy with licensed games and other titles, it looks like it’s time to put the band back together. Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have announced that they are planning on bringing Dynasty Warriors: Origins to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC sometime next year in 2025.
For the first time ever in the series history the storyline itself will be told through the eyes of a “nameless hero.” Play through the historical tale of war as chaos erupts throughout the Three Kingdoms as players take on the signature 1 vs 1,000 action gameplay that the franchise is known for all while coordinating with allied armies and deploying tactics to survive the battlefield.
Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios have released a new Mortal Kombat 1 trailer revealing the first gameplay for upcoming downloadable content (DLC) guest fighter Homelander. As featured in The Boys series on Amazon Prime Video, Homelander will join the Mortal Kombat 1 roster on June 4 as part of the early access period for Kombat Pack owners, followed by wide availability on June 11.
Homelander is the most powerful being on the planet and the leader of The Seven, the elite superhero team owned and managed by Vought International. In a world where “Supes” are made, he’s the strongest of them all. Homelander presents himself as the ultimate patriot and protector, but don’t let his movie star good looks or high approval rating fool you. He is a murderous, narcissistic sociopath with an insatiable need for validation, love, and power. Homelander’s destruction of enemies and lust for power does not end with his world. Challengers from other realms will also face his wrath. Today, as part of State of Play, we got a first look at the gameplay, universe, and characters of Concord, as well as how and when you’ll be able to get your hands on the game – starting with a beta in July, followed by Concord’s global launch on PS5 and PC on August 23, 2024.
Concord is a 5v5 character-driven, first-person multiplayer shooter set in the Concord galaxy. At launch, Concord will have a roster of 16 distinct Freegunners to learn and master, and the Northstar crew will grow over time through regular, free post-launch updates that introduce new playable Freegunners, maps, modes, cinematic vignettes, and more.

Astro Bot arrives on PS5 September 6
Since making an appearance at the launch of PlayStation 5, Astro has introduced many players to the magic of PlayStation. The title received a ton of heart-warming comments about how much fun the game was, how it utilised the DualSense wireless controller in fun ways and how it paid tribute to 25 years of PlayStation history.
Those comments were heard, and Astro is back in a super-sized space adventure – his biggest to date! In this brand-new game, players will explore 6 galaxies and over 80 levels in search of Astro’s scattered crew. Hold on tight to your Dual Speeder and dive down to each unique planet, from lush forests, sandy beaches, hot volcanoes to more surprising locations such as a gigantic hourglass or the canopy of a singing tree!

First look at Alien: Rogue Incursion PS VR2 gameplay, out Holiday 2024

Path of Exile 2 is coming to PS5, couch co-op and cross-play confirmed
Path of Exile 2, the next generation free-to-play action RPG from Grinding Gear Games, will be coming to PlayStation 5, and now with a great new feature – couch co-op. Players can play collaboratively on a single account, or log in with two separate Path of Exile accounts on the same console.
In addition, Path of Exile 2 is introducing full cross-play and cross-progression. Play with your friends without losing any progress!

Final Fantasy XIV offers a plethora of opportunities for achievement hunters and collectors. A popular activity among FFXIV’s dedicated player base is collecting the 270+ mounts available by completing achievements and other tasks. Some mounts have proven lucrative, with only a handful of players currently in possession of them.
Below is a list of the rarest mounts in FFXIV, and how your readers can obtain them.
Victor – Obtained via the achievement “Endgame Hunter”.
Possibly the rarest mount in all of FFXIV, Victor is a mount worth hunting for! Players must defeat 2,000 A-rank Hunt Marks, and 1,000 S-rank Hunt Marks in Endwalker regions to complete this achievement and receive the Victor mount. Hunts are notorious monsters that appear throughout zones. Some S-rank Hunt Marks only appear once every 72 hours or have specific conditions that must be met before they will appear, so hunters have to be diligent in their searches.
Triceratops – Obtained via the achievement “Nuts for Nutsy”.
Similar to Victor, players must defeat 2,000 A-rank Hunt Marks, and 1,000 S-rank Hunt Marks in Shadowbringers regions to complete this achievement and receive the Triceratops mount. As this mount has been in the game longer than Victor, it is slightly less rare despite the requirements being similar. These mounts are for dedicated hunters to show off their prowess and dedication to defeating FFXIV’s most notorious enemies!
Pteranodon – Obtained via the achievement “Castle in the Sky”.
Players must earn 500,000 points toward their skyward score for every Disciple of Land and Hand in the Ishgard Restoration crafting and gathering content to complete the achievement and earn the Pteranodon mount. To earn points, players must craft or gather specific items and turn them into an NPC in Ishgard.
Master crafters and gatherers will keep themselves occupied for a while completing this achievement as estimates suggest it could take upwards of a week of real-time to complete the requirements. Riding the Pteranodon is a privilege reserved for only the most skilled crafters and gatherers!
Astrope – Obtained via the achievement “I hope Mentor Will Notice Me VI”.
Riding the Astrope is a celebration of Mentors who are willing to help new players explore the realm of Eorzea.
Players must complete 2,000 Duty Roulette: Mentor activities to complete the achievement and receive the Astrope mount. Duty Roulette: Mentor is unlocked once you have completed all dungeons, and most trials and raids, and you have unlocked the Mentor status. To unlock the Mentor status, players must have completed the Main Story Questline; completed 1,000 instanced duties; and received 1,500 player commendations which are granted by other players after completing a dungeon or trial.
Duty Roulette: Mentor matches mentors with new players completing dungeons or trials for the first time, or, fills queues that are struggling to find the required amount of players. So you can help out new players and get a cool mount too!
Wivre – Obtained via Edelina, a vendor in Mor Dhona for 500 Bicolour Gemstone Vouchers.
For players who love to explore vast areas and complete active time events, the Wivre is the ultimate goal! Players must exchange 500 Bicolour Gemstone Vouchers with Edelina in Mor Dhona to receive the Wivre mount.
To start collecting Bicolour Gemstone Vouchers, players must first reach maximum Shared Fate reputation in all Endwalker zones by completing FATE’s, which are active time quests that sporadically activate. This unlocks vendors in Old Sharlayan and Radz-at-Han that will exchange 100 Bicolour Gemstones for 1 Bicolour Gemstone Voucher. Players will receive 14 Bicolour Gemstones when they complete a FATE.
Alternatively, players can purchase Bicolour Gemstone Vouchers from other players. But due to the time investment to collect them, players can expect to pay a large fee in exchange!
Centurio Tiger – Obtained via the achievement “You Got Game”.
The Centurio Tiger is the original hunt mark-related mount added with the Stormblood expansion and is coveted among the hunting community. Similar to the Victor and Triceratops mounts, to receive the Centurio Tiger players must defeat 3,000 A-rank hunt marks and 2,000 S-rank hunt marks. This mount is considered slightly less rare compared to the Triceratops and Victor as there are no region requirements on where the A and S-rank hunts are defeated, making it more accessible.
Magitek Avenger G1 – Obtained via Edelina, a vendor in Mor Dhona for 50 million Gil.
For players who like to show off their riches, look no further than the Magitek Avenger G1 mount! Players must exchange 50 million Gil with Edlina in Mor Dhona to receive the Magitek Avenger G1. This mount, along with a few others, are rare among the player base due to the eye-watering amount of Gil that must be handed over. Gil is collected in many ways such as selling items on the market board, completing treasure hunts, and various other activities.
Pinky – Obtained via Nesvaaz, a vendor in Radz-at-Han for 3 Exciting Tonics.
Delving into unknown portals in space comes with its risks, but it’s worth it for the chance to ride a giant pink elephant! Players must exchange 3 Exciting Tonics with Nesvaaz in Radz-at-Han to receive the Pinky mount. To collect Exciting Tonics, players must complete Treasure Hunts in Mare Lamentorum, which has a chance to let the party enter the Excitatron 6000 through a portal. Inside the Excitatron 6000, players must defeat enemies for a chance to open one of two doors. One will allow the team to proceed, the other will expel the party from the dungeon. Exciting Tonics drop from the treasure chests inside Excitatron 6000 at a random chance, with a higher chance to drop the further a party progresses in the dungeon. Just don’t let your other party members claim them first!
Apocryphal Bahamut – Obtained via completing the quest “Wings of Hope”.
After fighting world-ending bosses and aether-sucking Voidsent, sit back on a couch carried by a legendary dragon! Players must complete the quest ‘Wings of Hope’, acquired from the NPC “Singingway” found in Old Sharlayan, to receive the Apocryphal Bahamut mount. To unlock this quest, players must acquire the seven Lynx mounts that drop from each of the Extreme Trials added throughout the Endwalker expansion. The Lynx mounts have a low chance to drop from the trials, and when it drops, players have to win the loot roll against the other 7 players they defeated the trial with. Players can also exchange 99 totems to receive the Lynx mount connected to a particular trial. Players will receive 2 totems each time they defeat the trial.
After a Successful Launch Internationally, Disney Lorcana TCG set The First Chapter Now Available at Australian and New Zealand Retail
SYDNEY, Jun. 1, 2024 – Ravensburger, acclaimed publisher of award-winning board games and high-quality toys and puzzles, announced today that Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game (TCG), the collectible trading card game, is now available in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) in limited quantities.
