On May 8 this year, I Am Your President, a political survival game where you can become the President of the United States of America, will debut on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. I Am Your President is a title full of political and ideological clashes between Democrats and Republicans, various crisis situations, major foreign policy struggles, but also satirical elements. The game was previously released on PC as well.
I Am Your President is a title developed by the independent President Studio. The simulator was released in 2023 first on PC. Polish company Ultimate Games S.A. is responsible for the development and release of the Xbox One version. Thanks to backward compatibility, the title also works on Xbox Series X|S.
As the developers explain, I Am Your President is a unique political survival game based on the mechanics of a narrative strategy game. The player starts out as the newly elected president of the United States and must fight for political survival and sufficient public support to have a chance at a second term.
The game takes a closer look at the specifics of big politics. As the new US president, the player, among other things, talks to people, makes political decisions, attends press conferences and conducts foreign policy. In your free time, you can also run presidential social media channels and prepare speeches.
In I Am Your President, a special political compass is available, which indicates how the player’s decisions place themselves on the ideological map. In practice, the player can, for example, pursue a policy of lavishing around the mythical center or be closer to the Democratic or Republican line, but one can just as well bet on radical ideological lines from the right or left. Similar freedom also applies to foreign and defense policy. A player can be isolationist or, on the contrary, pursue an active or even offensive policy.
The title is also full of random events, so each approach to the game can look a little different. The developers also decided to make some references to real people, political events or conspiracy theories. Importantly, there are also satirical and humorous elements in I Am Your President.

Mystia Lorelei’s beloved Izakaya, the most popular eatery in all of Gensokyo, has been ransacked by a mysterious customer! With the restaurant torn down and expenses stacking up, help Mystia get back on her feet by starting a new enterprise from scratch.
