Additional development time confirmed for Chinese-inspired ink-style action roguelite

Guangzhou, China – 17th May 2024. Publisher 663 Games and developer Leap Studio have today announced a new Early Access Roadmap and release window for the highly anticipated action roquelite Realm of Ink. Following recent closed playtests and community feedback, 663 Games and Leap Studio have made the decision to extend the current development milestone and move the Early Access launch to Q3 2024. This new date will allow the team to implement additional content and enhancements, which will, in turn, deliver a deeper gameplay experience. 

‘We made a commitment to our community and fans that their first taste of the Early Access launch of Realm of Ink would be a beautiful experience’ said Dai, CEO of Leap Studio. ‘While the version we were working on was content-rich and stable, we knew that we wanted to offer more and make good on this commitment. By moving the Early Access release window to Q3, we can ensure that all the great content we promised will be implemented and most importantly offer a deep and thrilling gameplay experience.’

With the Early Access launch moving to Q3, fans can still get some hands-on time with Realm of Ink, as an updated version of the playable demo is going live on Steam today. Building on the already robust gameplay content, the Steam demo now offers new areas, bosses and much more for players to immerse themselves in. The updated demo can be downloaded from Steam today, and fans can still add the game to their Wishlists.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is an action-adventure game set in feudal Japan. Protagonist Jin Sakai was raised and trained in the ways of the samurai. His world is shattered when a Mongol invasion defeats the samurai army of his home on Tsushima island, and he is faced with a difficult decision: honor the tradition and customs of his upbringing and maintain a fight he cannot win, or deviate from his samurai path to protect the island and its people by any means necessary.  

In his quest to reclaim Tsushima, Jin seeks the guidance and support of old friends and new unlikely allies. He must break away from tradition, become a new kind of warrior, and protect what’s left of his home at all costs. 

Iki Island Expansion – In this story expansion, Jin discovers new locations, characters, and enemies on a mysterious island. The island of Iki is a wild, lawless land of raiders and criminals. Jin will have to bring all his skills to defeat the enemy and save Iki. 

Legends – Inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythology, this cooperative multiplayer experience consists of two-player story missions and four-player wave-based survival missions, as well as the competitive two-versus-two Rivals mode. Choose one of four classes: Samurai, Ronin, Hunter or Assassin and play with friends or via online matchmaking.

SANTA MONICA, Calif — May 16, 2024 — Absurd Ventures, the entertainment company founded by Dan Houser, will make its creative debut with the original IP A BETTER PARADISE, which will premiere as a new 12-episode audio fiction series, produced in partnership with award-winning audio production company QCODE, on June 10, 2024.   

Houser was co-founder of Rockstar Games and creative director and lead writer of the Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption and Bully video game series, among others.

“A BETTER PARADISE Volume One: An Aftermath” is the first story in an expansive new universe created and written by Houser. A BETTER PARADISE is one of several original IP universes he is now developing under the Absurd Ventures banner. Lazlow Jones, Houser’s longtime colleague in world-building and storytelling, is the series director.   

The audio drama series features acclaimed actors Andrew Lincoln (THE WALKING DEAD), Shamier Anderson (JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 4), Paterson Joseph (WONKA), and Rain Spencer (THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY), among others.  

In addition to launching Volume One of the A BETTER PARADISE audio series, Houser, Lazlow, and the Absurd Ventures team are in various stages of development on multiple projects set in the A BETTER PARADISE universe, including additional audio fiction seasons, as well as television and video game titles.
 
Set in the near future, “A BETTER PARADISE Volume One: An Aftermath” tells the story of the ill-fated development of an ambitious but addictive digital game-world project led by inventor and psychologist Dr. Mark Tyburn. As the advanced software they developed began delivering unexpected and disturbing results, the team fell apart under strange circumstances and the project was abandoned. The game world and super-intelligence within were discarded, left dormant and undiscovered. Until now.   

“A BETTER PARADISE Volume One: An Aftermath” is set to premiere June 10 on all major podcast platforms, with new episodes to be released weekly throughout the summer.

LOS ANGELES – May 16, 2024 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality mobile games, has launched a new update for SEVEN KNIGHTS IDL ADVENTURE. Players can now obtain two new legendary heroes and enjoy several new in-game events and content.

The latest additions to the roster of playable Legendary heroes are Vanessa and Giparang. Vanessa, a ranged-type hero, is known for her Sand Storm active skill that inflicts damage over time in the area around the target and creates a special territory that greatly decreases the target’s attack and movement speeds. Vanessa’s critical attack decreases her skill cooldown when activated and grants a buff to increase the critical hit rate of all allies. 

Giparang is another ranged-type Legendary hero whose skill deals great damage to a target and grants a buff to increase his weakness attack rate. Additionally, Giparang can be revived for one time when defeated. His critical attack grants the stun debuff to multiple enemies, and the final damage increases when he attacks enemies inflicted with the stun debuff. Players can obtain Giparang through Giparang Challenger Pass through May 29.

Blacksmith’s Challenge is newly added mini game and is available through May 29.A weapon can be enhanced, remain the same, or be destroyed according to set rates.. Players can receive a certain amount of Event Shop currency from this mini-game, and exchange it for various in-game items such as Legendary Hero Summon Tickets, Dish Baskets, and Pet Summon Tickets.

Additionally, users can experience brand-new content including the introduction of stages 15,201 to 16,000 and the new Hero Equipment system. Players can unlock additional equipment stats, while each hero’s exclusive equipment can be obtained from Sealed Equipment Chests in the Equipment Dungeon.

Based on their flagship franchise and the successor to the original Seven Knights game, SEVEN KNIGHTS IDLE ADVENTURE has been reimagined as an idle RPG. Developed with low capacity and low specification devices in mind with a guiding principle of easy playability, players will experience an expanded storyline with previously untold episodes of the original Seven Knights heroes.
