Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days’ Zombie Outbreak Storms the PC Gaming Show

Survivors intent on overcoming and escaping the zombie plague can prepare with a playable demo on Steam, available in October 2024. 

As the undead overrun Walton, Texas, in the summer of 1980, desperate survivors band together in hopes of staying alive long enough to escape the city.

Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days’ PC Gaming Show teaser showcases three cornerstones of the game: planning, adapting, and surviving. Scavenge various locations for valuable materials, carefully avoiding zombies in heavily infected areas. Balance the needs and well-being of each survivor, and upgrade meager shelters with fortifications and amenities to make it through the night before selecting new locations to explore the following day. 

As time passes, Walton City’s undead inhabitants spread like the plague, requiring flexibility and adaptability. Utilize resources to craft weapons and tools to face down zombies, and move shelters frequently to stay relatively safe. Make difficult choices that affect the group’s morale, welcome newcomers, or prey on trusting survivors when supplies become scarce. Major new content and features coming at the full launch of the hit sandbox adventure

Revamped World Generation & New World Seeds

Prepare for an entirely new way to generate your underground world, with player-customisable parameters to determine each world’s features, resources, terrain, and more. Prefer your cave system to be more like an ocean? No problem. Turn rivers and lakes up to Extreme to generate a world surrounded by water. The introduction of World Seeds will also let players easily share their generated world designs with friends.

The new world generation feature replaces Core Keeper’s existing system. While legacy worlds will still be playable at the launch of 1.0, Early Access players are strongly encouraged to begin a new world to experience the game’s complete set of features.

Discover extraordinary secrets and witness the conclusive chapter to Core Keeper’s main story arc. Survive a semester of screams as college freshman Faye, the final heir of the last practicing demon-hunting family, Upon arriving at a mysterious island university, she finds supernatural investigations on her syllabi. With newfound allies at her side, battle imps, demons, and class discussion boards, and close the breach between worlds before it’s too late.

Form a demon-busting battle party by befriending (or romancing!) 15 different playable characters, each with a distinct set of abilities. SEATTLE June 9, 2024 – Publisher tinyBuild and developer DogHowl Games announced at the PC Gaming Show today that Level Zero: Extraction, the upcoming multiplayer extraction horror game, will host an open beta test on Steam beginning today and continuing through Steam Next Fest until June 17. The announcement came with a brand-new gameplay trailer, highlighting its high-stakes asymmetric PvPvE action and tactical FPS combat.

Following a successful closed beta earlier this year, Level Zero: Extraction’s new open beta introduces a number of new features and updates based on player feedback. I Am Your Beast puts players in the shoes of secret agent Alphonse Harding. Retired for six years, you’ve been asked to complete “one last job” one too many times. Declining your latest mission sets in motion a furious guerilla war between you and the Covert Operations Initiative (COI) that litters the forest with bodies and bullet casings. Now you must break your opponents, use their own equipment against them, duck into your tunnel network before enemy forces zero in on your location… and repeat.
