In this single player medieval fantasy game, you start as a humble farmer exploring a deep open world rich with unique cultures, progress and unlock strengths and skills. Every decision you make will change the world around you. (And, by the way, you can pet everything, even that dragon.)

In Peasant you are not a hero, for heroes are corrupt and take what they please without having to worry about any consequences. No more. There is no prophecy. There is no ancient lineage. You have no destiny. You are just some guy trying to make your way through an epic and intense medieval fantasy world. Start out as a humble peasant who has grown tired of all the abuse from adventurers. Grow your strength and gather your allies in a fight against the heroes; it’s time to make them pay for every wheel of cheese they ever took!

Every playthrough is unique. As you play and progress your way through the open world, interacting with a huge variety of creatures, races, and factions it inhabits, every choice you make will have an effect on your character and in the world around you. Each decision charts a value, adding points into one or more paths of progression; don’t think you can do everything! There are a variety of conflicting actions which will lock you out from progressing in different paths: if you cut down too many trees, the druidic path will be forever locked from you. The player chooses whether to be a symbol of peace or bringer of death, or even anything between! The karma system of Peasant is not linear so every choice will make your path a little different from others.

The game lets players take control of each Straw Hat Crew member by using their unique skills for exploration or turn-based style combat with unique ONE PIECE twists such as the Scramble Area Battle and Dramatic Scene systems. With the Scramble Area Battle system, players can move through multiple battle areas with individual characters to pick their best strategy to exploit enemy weaknesses. The Dramatic Scene system pits players in battles reminiscent of memorable ONE PIECE moments, such as when members of the Straw Hat crew encounter trouble and need rescue, letting them earn increased experience for completing these tasks.

Friday, 26th July 2024 – Today, Team17 Digital and Los Angeles-based developer Sassy Chap Games have announced a partnership to publish the upcoming sandbox dating simulator, Date Everything!. Coming to Steam, Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Date Everything! whisks players off into a world where everyday objects transform into romantic possibilities. From the refrigerator to the vacuum cleaner, the laundry basket to even the air itself, no object or concept is off limits for love.

Players will don “Dateviator” glasses and start chatting up objects around their home to find out who’s who and see what magic they can make. Each dateable object has three different relationship resolutions (Love, Friend, or Hate) leading to an endless panoply of playthroughs! Discover your inner folk hero in Magic: The Gathering’s first all-animal set, journeying with the smallest and bravest in a charming pastoral plane.

26 July, 2024 — Wizards of the Coast today launched prerelease events for Bloomburrow, the latest set for the world-renowned trading card game, Magic: The Gathering (MTG). Set in a fantastical woodland plane, and Magic’s first entirely non-human plane, Bloomburrow is where courage and great power reside in the tiniest critters. Bloomburrow will be released for MTG Arena on 30 July and available everywhere for tabletop on August 2.

Magic’s smallest heroes

Step into Valley, an idyllic pastoral woodland where swords and magic are wielded by tails, scales and wings. When a terrible peril looms over this peaceful plane with the rise of the Calamity Beasts, it’ll take mighty amounts of courage in the smallest of creatures to save the valley. Join the brave mouse Mabel and her adventurer friends; Gev the lizard, Hugs the badger, Finneas the rabbit, Zoraline the bat, as well as the now-otter planeswalker Ral Zarek, as they fight to restore peace.

Embark on Mabel’s Journey WPN Play Season

Players can follow along with the story of Bloomburrow in Mabel’s Journey Play Season, exclusive to Wizards Play Network (WPN) stores in Asia-Pacific. Running from July 26 to September 13, players can obtain unique narrative-themed rewards.

By participating in eligible Bloomburrow in-store Prerelease Events, Limited Events (Draft and Sealed), and Friday Night Magic events, players can earn progressive rewards such as a themed MTG dicebag, character portrait cards, a Calamity Beast keyring, and finally, a wall tapestry representing a heroic scene from the Bloomburrow story. Players must earn each reward in order by participating in four consecutive events during the Play Season.

New & Returning Mechanics

The denizens of Bloomburrow employ new and returning strategies to defend against the calamitous threats, some of which include:

• Offspring, a new keyword found on creature cards allows the tiniest heroes to play their part. By paying an additional mana cost, the player creates a token copy of the original card, except with 1 power and 1 toughness (1/1).
• Gift, gifts come in all shapes and sizes, but you’ll always receive an advantage in return! By promising the Gift specified on a card to an opponent, such as food tokens or drawing a card, players can receive any number of advantages to help sway the tide of battle.
• Forage, a new action allowing players to exile three cards from their graveyard or sacrifice a food token to trigger varying effects. Never go into battle with an empty stomach!
• Valiant, creatures with a brave heart may have this new keyword which triggers bonus effects whenever the card is targeted by a spell or ability.
• Expend, no resource is wasted as this new rule term tracks how much mana a player has spent throughout a turn, then grants boons depending on the number of mana used while the Expend term was in play.
• Modal Spells, allow players to adapt to their surroundings by choosing to trigger three different effects listed on this new type of card. Players can spend up to five ‘pawprints’ with each effect costing one, two, or three pawprints to trigger. Effects can be triggered more than once, creating opportunities for powerful combinations!

Bloomburrow features 24 Imagine: Courageous Critters Planeswalkers such as Jace, The Mind Sculptor, Liliana of the Dark Realms & Nissa, Who Shakes the World. They may be smaller in size, but they are as powerful as ever!

Collectability continues as prominent artist Mitsuhiro Arita contributes to Bloomburrow’s bestial theme by illustrating the mythic card Lumra, Bellow of the Woods. Also joining the ranks of Magic’s notable artists, David Peterson applied their passion for tiny yet mighty creatures and illustrated five key character cards including Helga, Skittish Seer.

As if pulled from a novel, 42 gorgeous Showcase Woodland frames are available to collect in Bloomburrow, with intricate elements changing between the animal factions of Valley.
