On the 20th Anniversary of the Second Battle of Fallujah, Victura Introduces the World’s First Documentary Video Game

Best-selling Six Days in Fallujah Explores One of thisCentury’s Most Consequential Events as Recreated by Marines, Soldiers, and Iraqis Who Were There – Innovative Fireteam AI Gives Birth to a New Generation of Squad-based Shooters

Seattle,Washington (November 7, 2024) Today, Victura released its much-anticipated “Command and Control”update for the historically accurate first-person tactical shooter Six Days in Fallujah, which is available now to allplayers on Steam.

This update includes Six Days in Fallujah’s first documentary story missions, taking players inside the beginning of ISIS and the bloodiest encounter for Westernforces in nearly half a century. During these missions, players participate in recreations of actual events alongside documentary footage and interviews with Iraqis and Americans who were present during the Second Battle of Fallujah in November 2004.

Additionally, the Command and Control updatenow includes a solo mode in which players command AI fireteams programmed with authentic military tactics. Harkening back to the original Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, Brothers in Arms, SOCOM, and otherclassic “squad-based shooters,” players use sophisticated military maneuvers to overcome simulated real-world events from the battle.

Watch Six Days inFallujah’s Command and Control Update Launch Trailer below

Six Daysin Fallujah is a highly realistic squad-based shooterand the world’s first documentary video game. It was initially launched into Steam Early Access on June 22, 2023, and instantly became the world’s #1best-selling PC game and remained a Top-10 seller throughout the next week. Conceived by Sgt. Eddie Garcia, a Marine who was wounded during the battle, Six Days in Fallujah was created incollaboration with more than 100 US Marines and Soldiers as well as more than two dozen Iraqi civilians and soldiers.

One of the most consequential events of thepast half-century, the Second Battle of Fallujah began on November 7, 2004,after Al Qaeda in Iraq seized control of the city of Fallujah. Six months after losing the city, Iraq’s prime minister ordered a military operation in which Iraqi soldiers fought alongside American and British forces to retake the city. The battle became the bloodiest for Western forces since 1968, re-shaped military doctrine and Western policy, and established a multi-decade alliance between Western and Iraqi forces. In 2006, the Al Qaeda forces who survived the battle renamed their group ISIS, and by 2014 seized more than 40,000 square miles of territory across the Middle East.

“What happened in Fallujah throughout 2004 set the world down a path from which we have not yet returned,” said Victura CEOPeter Tamte. “As a documentary video game, SixDays in Fallujah deepens our understanding of the realities of war by combining the most accurate simulation of warfare to-date with the words and experiences of the Iraqis and Americans who were there.”

NewFeatures in the Six Days in FallujahCommand and Control Update:

  • First Documentary Story Missions: The first two single-player story campaign missions available in the Command and Control update draw players into the genesis of ISIS and the opening day of the Second Battle of Fallujah. These missions also act as a tutorial for solo players tolearn the tactics and controls for leading three NPC teammates using the newly implemented Fireteam AI system.
  • Advanced Fireteam AI System: Six Days in Fallujah now gives players command of an AI fireteam to deploy sophisticated tactics such as Fire and Maneuver, Ambushes, Breaching, and 360-degree Security. The innovative “Go!Command” makes it as easy to give orders as it is to fire weapons. One-tap commands teams to suppress enemies, watch targets, breach fortifications, or follow in formation.
  • AI Teammates: Just like actual combat, completing missions successfully requires a full fireteam of four people and effective use of tactics. Now, in addition to controlling AI fireteams in the new single-player mode, players can also substitute AI teammates online whenever all four humans aren’t available.
  • New “HLZ Wolf” Procedural Mission: In additionto two all-new single-player story campaign missions, this update includes thenew “HLZ Wolf” Procedural Mission. All eight Procedural missions can now beplayed solo with Fireteam AI cooperatively with four players or with fewer than four players with the game filling any missing slots with AI teammates.
  • Graphical Overhaul: Six Days in Fallujah now features ray-traced lighting and many new visual effects through NVIDIA’s RTX Global Illumination(RTXGI) technology, building upon the game’s industry-leading Global Dynamic Lighting and Procedural Architecture technologies, which dynamically simulate real weather and lighting effects. Additionally, most of the game’s characters, environments, vehicles, and effects have been improved for higher visualfidelity.
  • Additional Improvements: More than 300 technical enhancements, improving everything from game performance to the effectiveness of enemy AI to the smoothness of interactions and controls.

Existing Core Features in Six Days in Fallujah:

  • Procedural Architecture: Marines never knew what was waiting behind the next door, and this fear of the unknown became acentral, all-consuming part of combat. Every time players start a mission, entire buildings change shape inside and out, enemies take up new positions, and unique threats emerge.
  • 4-player Co-op: Players can invite up to three friends or matchmake online to play cooperative missions against AI enemies programmed with the same tactics that made the Battle of Fallujah among themost difficult of the past half-century.
  • Wargame: Players can customize parameters for Procedural Missions, creating a wide variety of unpredictable challenges. Customizable parameters include Time of Day, Weather, Enemy Difficulty, and Procedural Architecture variation.

Six Days in Fallujah is available for purchase for Windows PC in Early Access via the Steam store for $39.99. To celebratethe release of the Command and Control update, the game is on sale for $29.99 through November 17, 2024.

Future Steam Early Access updates will add more content and features to the game before Six Days in Fallujah‘s fullrelease on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles in late 2025.

MOBILE MEDIEVAL TACTICS TITLE ‘PRICE OF GLORY’ LAUNCHES OPEN ALPHA TODAY WITH DAILY CASH TOURNAMENTS

Players in North America and Oceania can access the Open Alpha today, and more regional accessibility is coming soon. Cash prizes are offered by joining tournaments via the game’s Discord.

Orlando, FL, 07 November 2024 | Price of Glory, the inaugural title from independent AA mobile studio Marauder Tech Games, is available today in Open Alpha. This competitive turn-based strategy game introduces players to a unique tactical fantasy world with strategic challenges and cash prize opportunities.

Duel Head-to-Head

Welcome to Price of Glory, an asynchronous turn-based strategy game where players can compete for real rewards. Set in a medieval fantasy world of constant conflict, gear up for action and engage in strategic combat across arid deserts, dense forests, molten lava flows, and more. Price of Glory is a game of pure skill where nothing is left to chance. Players must carefully protect their stronghold against enemy forces while taking turns to advance into each other’s territory, overcome the opposing army, and destroy the enemy base to win. Clever positioning, effective attacks, and tactical foresight all play an important part in this strategy mobile title.

At Your Command

Lead your army to glory and choose from a diverse roster of factions and their associated units. Scouts help you see through the fog of war, enabling coordinated attacks from your soldiers, knights, and ranged units while healers keep your troops alive. Unique generals customize your army, offering a different playstyle through their special abilities. When facing your enemy, carefully consider your next move and available resources. The game’s primary resource, Animo, is used for spawning new units, moving, attacking, and using special abilities. A limited amount of Animo is generated each turn, meaning every choice matters. The gameplay is asynchronous, so players can engage when they’re able and check back later. The standard 24-hour turn limit allows for casual strategy, while the game’s blitz mode sets quick 5-minute turn limits.

Play Your Way

Price of Glory offers a variety of challenges for every type of player. Boasting a “play how you want, when you want” style, the game’s asynchronous gameplay and various game modes cater to novice strategists and seasoned veterans alike. Are you looking to test a new strategy? The “Skirmish” quickplay mode drops players straight into the action. These one-off, low-stakes matches are perfect for those looking to play casually or practice new strategies. For serious competitors, tournaments up the ante, pitting four, eight, or more people against each other in a single-elimination bracket with larger rewards.

Ripe With Opportunity

With sights set on developing a competitive scene, Price of Glory will offer two types of tournaments: salt and cash. Salt tournaments are entered using salt crystals, the main in-game currency. Salt crystals are rewarded by watching in-game advertisements and by completing small tasks. These salt crystals can be used to enter cash tournaments, giving every player a chance to earn cash rewards through skill. A unique Dynasty system will also offer all players an opportunity to earn additional rewards based on membership activity within their dynasty. Players can also join daily bonus tournaments in the game’s Discord for larger cash winnings!

Gameplay Features:

  • Asynchronous play encourages players to play how they want, when they want, giving them up to 24 hours per turn or 5 minutes in blitz mode.
  • Strategic gameplay challenges players to think outside the box as they manage Animo resources, control strategic tiles, and maneuver around various map layouts to outsmart their opponents.
  • Casual play is possible through the “Skirmish” quickplay game mode, one-off matches between players that are great for practicing new tactics.
  • Two tournament modes offer competitive play for those looking to up the ante, with a F2P option through Salt Tournaments and Cash Tournaments for serious competitors.
  • A Dynasty system rewards players for inviting friends and being active in-game to receive benefits.
  • Daily cash tournaments can be entered by retrieving a join code in the game’s Discord. A new code will be available every day for a new prize!

Price of Glory’s Open Alpha is out now for iOS and Android. Players in North America and Oceania can download the title now, and more regions will be available soon. DIG VR: Born in Italy, Made in England

Making Of: Episode 1 video sees Wired Productions MD, Leo Zullo, go back to the origins of where the DIG VR concept began in Tuscany, Italy, with nothing more than a digger and an emotional story of a great bond between father and son

Watford UK – 7th November 2024 – In 2020, Covid had its grip on Europe and in March of that year, the UK had its first official lockdown. We were all told to officially stay at home.

Wired Productions MD, Leo Zullo, had been visiting his family farm and his sick father in Italy, just as the lockdown was announced, he had a choice to leave there and then head back to the UK or stay with his sick father, he chose the latter.

The house Leo was living in was the family home his dad had built. Leo had witnessed how hard his father had worked in the hope that the family would all eventually live together in a home surrounded by acres of land.

A few weeks into the solitude, Leo had the desire to work on the land, and after a few botched attempts of knocking down a 50-metre wall with a tractor, he decided to hire a digger. Health and safety were swept aside for learning to use a digger on the fly, with his father watching on from the sidelines, with the occasional, “What are you doing boy!?”. Leo’s dad regained his spark.

Whilst working on the digger Leo realised that the two main controllers of the machine were exactly like that of two VR handsets. The motion of controlling the arm and the bucket of the digger was a perfect match for that of the VR handsets. This sparked an idea and DIG VR was born.

Leo’s company Wired Productions teamed up with developer Just Add Water to make DIG VR a reality.

Capturing the sheer joy, adrenaline and frustrations of life on a digger, DIG VR is an exciting experience for both novices and pros. Starting with nothing more than a mini-digger and a dream, players will soon pick up the keys to a colossal machine with a diverse set of attachments to overcome the most challenging of jobs. Players will dig, delve, dredge, and discover their love of all things excavational in DIG VR

Key Features:

  • Full career mode campaign with options for both serious and casual players
  • Co-op and competitive multiplayer modes
  • Three quirky mini-games with online leaderboards
  • A stress free, zen-like sandbox mode
  • Master up to 4 Digger Sizes with 7 unique tool heads to attach
  • Unlock over 70 customisation options for your digger, including decal, paint and skins
  • Featuring the first ever dynamic dig-able terrain in VR, which can be dug, moved and dumped.

DIG VR is coming to Meta Quest on 14th of November, 2024 priced at £14.99 / $19.99 / €19.99. Pre-order now via Meta to receive a 25% discount prior to launch. Sign up for more information via DigVRgame.com, tune in to DIG FM, the brand-new digital radio station designed for construction workers globally.

DIG VR is also compatible with Roto VR Explorer, a next-generation VR gaming chair made in partnership with Meta. DIG VR will be the first game to use the SDK and will be fully compatible with the Roto VR Explorer at launch, allowing for synchronization between the in-game cab movement and the chair itself.
