Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars coming to the iPhone and iPod Touch

Rockstar Games have announced that they will be bringing the mayhem and violence and crime on Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars to the iPhone and iPod Touch this fall.

Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games said :

Chinatown Wars is a perfect match for the iPhone and iPod touch. We are very excited to bring this incredibly ambitious version of Liberty City, with this level of detail and immersive gameplay on Apple’s new gaming platforms.

Sales on the Nintedo DS for Chinatown wars were not very sucessful.  Lets wait and see how it will sell in the App Store.  And most importantly .. for what price.  As most games ported over to the App Store have seen a drastic price cut. If thats the case, this will stimulate a lot more sales for sure.

Disney to acquire Marvel for $4 billion

0

The Walt Disney Co. says it is acquiring Marvel Entertainment Inc. for $4 billion in cash and stock, bringing characters like Iron Man and Spider-Man into the Disney family.

Under the deal, Disney will acquire ownership of 5,000 Marvel characters.

Disney said Monday that Marvel shareholders will receive $30 per share in cash plus 0.745 Disney shares for every Marvel share they own.

It said the boards of Disney and Marvel have both approved the transaction, but it requires an antitrust review and the approval of Marvel shareholders.
