Virtual farms are thriving as publisher and developer GIANTS Software reports the most successful launch in the history of the series with Farming Simulator 25. The agricultural simulation launched on November 12th for PC, Mac, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Cultivating millions of virtual farmers

Compared to its already high-performing predecessor in 2021, Farming Simulator 25 saw a significant increase in its first week of release: With two million copies sold worldwide, it surpassed the previous record of 1.5 million copies of Farming Simulator 22 in the same period by more than 30%. One of the first indicators was there for all to see:

On launch day, Farming Simulator 25 outperformed other new releases on Steam’s “Top Sellers” chart, with more than 125,000 virtual farmers playing simultaneously, tilling fields solo or cooperatively in multiplayer. That number jumped to 135,000 on the first weekend. Not included are players who were not playing at the same time during the day and on other platforms.

Farming Simulator 25 will receive constant updates to extend and improve as GIANTS Software provides free content updates, patches, and other updates in addition to new packs and expansions for the family-friendly game. The already available Year 1 Season Pass includes three official packs as well as one major expansion, which become available to pass owners as soon as the content is released.

Bandai Namco and Look North World Bring the Thrills of Netflix’s “Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance” to Gamers Worldwide
