The remaster is published by Playground Productions, a pioneering full-service production company dedicated to creating best-in-class content for children and families, in partnership with Mega Cat Studios, a video game developer aimed at bringing retro and indie titles directly to the fingertips of gamers, aficionados and enthusiasts alike.
Backyard Soccer ‘98 comes on the heels of the highly-anticipated launch of Backyard Baseball ‘97, the inaugural re-release from the Backyard Sports franchise which was the #1 new sports game and a Top 10 overall game on Steam at launch. Other retro titles now available for wishlist on Steam include Backyard Football ‘99, Backyard Basketball ‘01, Backyard Baseball ‘01 and Backyard Hockey ‘02.
