Additional Development Time Ensures A More Accessible, Polished And Enjoyable Experience For All Players

Oberhaching, Germany, October 21st 2024 –  Developer Don VS Dodo and publisher Toplitz Productions today announced that their real-time economic strategy simulation game Industry Giant 4.0. has a revised release date of November 15th.

The new date will give time for developer Don vs Dodo to implement some much needed adjustments and player focused enhancements which were based on player feedback during Steam next Fest. 

“While the core mechanics of the game have received very positive feedback, we wanted some additional time to address some player concerns regarding accessibility and the complexity of the menu systems and the onboarding tutorial. We are sorry about the delay but we feel that additional time to adjust some of these aspects will help deliver the best possible experience for players, and that matters most to us.” Said Matthias Lutz, Don vs Dodo Co-Founder and Producer.

While this may be a disappointment for some players, the ultimate goal to extend development has primarily been made to ensure that essential features and functionalities are intuitive and user friendly, both for seasoned business sim players but also for new players as well.

Business sim fans and budding industry tycoons can fully explore their entrepreneurial side on November 15th when Industry Giant 4.0 brings the world of business and big industries to PC.

BeardedBrothers.Games are delaying the Early Access release of Underground Garage until November 7th. The team decided it was necessary to pump the brakes for their Need For Speed meets Car Mechanic Simulator blend of car customisation and racing to spend more time under the hood before the release. While Underground Garage will of course enjoy improvements during its Early Access period, BearderBros nonetheless want to ensure that the game starts off on the right foot and the team is primed to respond to community feedback on release, hence the need for the delay.

Underground Garage lets you delve deep under the hood to tweak every conceivable aspect of your car, give it a custom paint job and then take it out into an open world to complete story quests, take on challenges and test it against your friends. Motor Mash (PS1): Motor Mash is a top-down cartoon racer from Eutechnyx that was originally released in 1997 for PlayStation. Players choose from a selection of different cars and drivers before racing against opponents over six worlds, each with eight courses.

Risky Woods (Mega Drive): Risky Woods, known as Jashin Draxos in Japan, is a side-scrolling platformer released by Electronic Arts in 1992. In Risky Woods the player will take on the role of Rohan, who is charged with ancient monks that have been frozen in stone by Draxos and his minions.

Wonder Planet (Arcade): Released to arcades by Data East in 1987, Wonder Planet is a vertically-scrolling shoot ’em up that stood out from the crowd with its bright colours and cartoon-style visuals.

Lode Runner II: The Bungeling Strikes Back (Arcade): Released to arcade by IREM in 1984, this sequel contains 30 levels and has the player avoiding or trapping enemies while collecting gold to complete the level and move onto the next.

Saboteur! Remastered (ZX Spectrum): Saboteur! was originally released on various home computers in 1985 by Clive Townsend and became something of a legend. Saboteur! Remastered takes the original game and imagines it had been developed with modern technology, resulting in a faster and more optimised game with additional graphics and new features. Infiltrate the warehouse and steal the floppy disc before time runs out.

Lode Runner III: The Golden Labyrinth (Arcade): The second Lode Runner game of the month, IREM’s Lode Runner III: The Golden Labyrinth came to the arcade in 1985. Again containing 30 levels taken from the original 1983 Lode Runner, players will continue to trap enemies and collect gold.

Super JetPak DX (GameBoy Color): The first GameBoy Color game to arrive on Antstream Arcade, Super JetPak DX is a modern re-imagining of the classic 1983 JetPac. In this single-screen platform shooter, help your astronaut repair and fuel their ship to blast off to the next level, all while avoiding pesky aliens.

Having recently announced its intention to bring the exciting world of feudal Japan to consoles in 2025, Sengoku Dynasty is now in the final stages of preparation for its full version 1.0 launch for PC. 

During its time in early access Sengoku Dynasty has gone from strength to strength with several defining content updates that have added considerable scope and depth that has enhanced the overall player experience to present players with perhaps the most authentic multi-genre open-world game set in feudal Japan.

Sydney, Australia (October 21, 2024) – Last Saturday, Crunchyroll held its Industry Panel at New York Comic Con at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.

Crunchyroll announced several titles coming soon to its streaming service around the world. Those titles included the following:

• Based on the manga “The Dialect of the Girl I Fell in Love With in Okinawa is Too Difficult to Deal With” created by Egumi Sora, the coming-of-age slice of romance anime, OKITSURA: Fell in Love with an Okinawan Girl, but I Just Wish I Know What She’s Saying, is set to stream on Crunchyroll this January 2025. The latest trailer for the upcoming anime series was shown at NYCC. The series is written and directed by Shin Itagaki (So I’m a Spider, So What?) and Shingo Tanabe (I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too), with animation by studio Millepensee (I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too).
  • Synopsis: Teruaki Nakamura recently transferred to school in Okinawa from Tokyo and fell in love with a girl. Unfortunately, he can’t understand her dialect! With the help of his new friend Higa-san, Nakamura will experience a cross-cultural romance on the southern island.

• The upcoming anime adaptation for Go For It, Nakamura-kun!, based on the manga of the same name by Syundei, will be coming soon in 2025 to Crunchyroll. The first trailer and key visual for the high school romance series made their world premiere debut at NYCC. It was also revealed that the director, script writer, and character designer will be Aoi Umeki (Pop Team Epic). The animation will be produced by studio Drive (KONOSUBA: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!; To Your Eternity Season 2)
  • Manga Synopsis via Seven Seas: Nakamura is a shy boy who falls in love at first sight with one of his classmates–his dreamy high school classmate, Hirose. But there’s a problem: they haven’t met yet. And Nakamura is a total klutz who might bungle things before they even begin!

• From author Nazuna Miki, light novel illustrator Kabocha, and manga illustrator Rio Akisaki comes the anime adaptation of I’m a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic,which was announced to arrive on Crunchyroll in January 2025 along with a trailer. The series is directed by Kenichi Ishikura (Sakura Trick) and the series composition is written by Tatsuya Takahashi (The Faraway Paladin). The animation is being produced by Studio DEEN (2001’s Fruits Basket; Sasaki and Miyano; KONOSUBA -God’s blessing on this wonderful world!) and Marvy Jack (Spice and Wolf II).
  • Synopsis: While innocently enjoying himself after work, one man’s life changes forever. He wakes in the body of Liam Hamilton, the youngest son of a noble house on the brink of collapse. Amid the chaos, Liam realizes he finally has time to learn and practice magic. Once he begins, it takes his life for an even bigger turn. Can Liam master magic and save his noble family? • Additionally, following the thrilling conclusion of HIGH CARD Season 2, it was confirmed that HIGH CARD Special Episode “THE FLOWERS BLOOM” will be coming to Crunchyroll on November 6. The animation is produced by TMS Entertainment (2019’s Fruits Basket; Yowamushi Pedal; Kamisama Kiss).
  • Synopsis: After discovering X-Playing Cards, powerful cards that grant powers, pickpocket Finn is recruited by High Card, a secret group sworn to protect and collect them. This deck has been scattered throughout the kingdom of Fourland. Moonlighting at luxury carmaker Pinochle, this squad’s set out to play the most dangerous game of 52 pickup. But they gotta get them before rival carmaker Who’s Who!

Along with the exciting new lineup of titles coming to Crunchyroll, an all-new trailer for ZENSHU made its world premiere debut during the Industry Panel. Animated by MAPPA, who is best known for JUJUTSU KAISEN, Chainsaw Man, Attack on Titan Final Season, and the remake of Ranma ½, the original anime series ZENSHU will be premiering in January 2025 on Crunchyroll. It is directed by Mitsue Yamazaki (Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle; How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?) with a script written by Kimiko Ueno (Delicious in Dungeon; 2024’s Ranma ½).

• Synopsis: After graduating from high school, Natsuko Hirose starts her career as an animator. Her talent quickly flourishes, and she makes her debut as a director in no time. Her first anime becomes a massive hit, sparking a social phenomenon and earning her recognition as an up-and-coming genius director. Her next project is set to be a romantic comedy movie themed around first love! However, having never been in love herself, Natsuko struggles to understand the concept of first love, and as a result, she’s unable to create the storyboard, causing the movie production to come to a standstill.

An all-new trailer for Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE, the final season of the beloved franchise, was shown to fans in the audience for a tease of the upcoming first cour. Based on the incredibly inspiring manga written by Riichiro Inagaki (TRILLION GAME) and illustrated by Boichi (Trigun: The Lost Plant), Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE will be coming January 2025 to Crunchyroll. The final season is directed by Shuhei Matsushita (Dr. STONE NEW WORLD). The animation is also produced by TMS Entertainment.

Crunchyroll also announced launch windows for two Crunchyroll Game Vault titles—a free library of mobile games for Mega and Ultimate Fans. Cyberpunk visual novel PSYCHO-PASS: Mandatory Happiness and creature collecting life-sim Moonstone Island will launch this October and November, respectively.

Fans at NYCC also got an exclusive first look at the latest trailer and behind-the-scenes footage of My Hero Academia: Battleground by Gamefam Studios, the first official anime game on Roblox, set to launch soon. Players will be able to explore iconic environments, battle as their favorite characters, and go beyond – Plus Ultra! – in this action-packed adventure inspired by the hit anime series. All episodes of My Hero Academia are available to stream on Crunchyroll.

“We’re not here to F#$% Spiders!”: Sophie Monk is the Aussie Replacer for the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is right around the corner, launching 25 October. To celebrate, The Replacer is back, bolder than ever, and he has recruited some new friends! 

Played by actor Peter Stormare (Fargo, John Wick Chapter 2), The Replacer returns for Black Ops 6, helping gamers out by taking care of their everyday tasks, so they can get back to doing what they’d rather be doing – playing Black Ops.  

With his services in greater demand than ever before, The Replacer is calling in regional reinforcements. Sophie Monk has answered the call and is stepping up to lead the charge in Australia: below:

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is officially coming to PC! Announced on Marvel’s stage at New York Comic Con over the weekend, our latest entry in the critically acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise arrives on PC January 31, 2025 (AEDT) via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The PC version is being developed and optimised by Nixxes Software in close collaboration with Insomniac Games, PlayStation, and Marvel Games. Two editions of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be available when it launches on PC, including the Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition (DDE). Players will also have the option to upgrade to the DDE content, similar to our upgrade paths on PS5 console. Here’s a quick breakdown of what’s included in each:
