Songs of Silence Completes its Early Access Journey, Offering Players a 15+ Hour Story Campaign, Intense Combat, Expansive Multiplayer Options, Unique Factions and Heroes, and More

Commanders will rise and fall in Songs of Silence, a fast-paced, 4X strategy game set in a vibrant world divided by conflict and sundered into realms of light and darkness. 

Songs of Silence is a beautifully crafted mix of strategic campaigns and fast-paced tactical battles. It is brought to life with stunning Art Nouveau-inspired visuals and energized by a compelling original score by composer Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy 12). The game was funded on Kickstarter in under eight hours earlier this year and initially launched into Steam Early Access in June 2024.

Music Game Studio Backed by Industry Veterans from Candy Crush, Guitar Hero, and More

London, UK – 29 October 2024 – Maintain Altitude, a disruptive music game studio, today announced the completion of its $500,000 pre-seed funding round, led by Hiro Capital with participation from angel investors behind hit games such as Candy Crush and Guitar Hero.

Founded in 2022 by music industry veteran Oliver “Ollywood” Moira and games industry expert Simon Prytherch, Maintain Altitude aims to revolutionise music entertainment. The studio is developing BeatHunter, a mobile game best described as “musical Uno”, slated for release in 2026.

Oliver Moira, Founder and CEO, brings 20 years of music industry experience, including co-founding BlackButter Records (acquired by Sony) and launching acts with 30 billion combined streams, such as the legendary GorgonCity. Simon Prytherch, Founder and CTO, contributes 30 years of games industry experience, having co-founded multiple successful games companies and held executive roles at Gamigo and Kwalee.

Tuesday, 29^th October 2024 – HEXWORKS, a CI Games studio, has today confirmed Lords of the Fallen will be enhanced for PlayStation 5 Pro, which launches on 7^thNovember.

The PS5 Pro version of Lords of the Fallen allows players to experience the game with a 40% increase in pixel density over the base PlayStation 5 console, resulting in a sharper image and finer details. Performance Mode delivers rich visual detail at 4K60 (upscaled from 1440p) with a fluid 60 frames per second, sharper distant details, and refined textures on characters and environments. For those prioritizing visual fidelity, Quality Mode runs at native 4K30, showcasing intricate visuals across the dual realms of Axiom and Umbral at a stable 30 FPS.

Today’s announcement arrives ahead of further planned updates and enhancements for the game across all platforms, many of which are based on feedback from players of the dark fantasy action-RPG.
