Hinwil, 17 January 2025 – The 2025 F1 Sim Racing World Championship officially kicked off with the first Event of the season, delivering four intense rounds of action on the Melbourne, Shanghai, Bahrain and Jeddah circuits. KICK F1 Sim Racing Team, represented by Brendon Leigh and Thomas Ronhaar, showcased solid performances and determination amidst fierce competition. The team now sits seventh in the standings, with Thomas and Brendon P6 and P21 in the Drivers’ Championship respectively.

Round 1: Melbourne
The season opener at the Albert Park Circuit saw Thomas start from P7 and quickly climb to P4 after a strong start. However, a double-stack pit stop on Lap 9 disrupted the team’s momentum. Despite this, Thomas still pushed through to battle for a podium position late into the race, ultimately crossing the line in P6. Brendon gained ground from his P16 starting position, eventually finishing in P15 after a steady drive.

Round 2: Shanghai
Rainy conditions at the Shanghai International Circuit created a dramatic second round. Thomas capitalised on wet qualifying to start P2 and surged into the lead at the race’s start. Though a mix of pit strategies and tough battles shuffled the order, he secured a hard-fought P2 finish after a thrilling duel in the closing laps. Brendon’s race was marked by strong early pace but was then compromised by contact at the hairpin, leaving him P16 at the chequered flag.

Round 3: Bahrain
The third round at the Bahrain International Circuit showcased thrilling wheel-to-wheel racing. Thomas started from P3 and fought with a tightly packed lead group throughout the race. Though he delivered a spirited drive, he finished in P6 after a bold late-race move resulting in contact with a rival. Brendon began from P18 and worked his way up the order, ultimately finishing P13 after navigating a tough field.

Round 4: Saudi Arabia
A tense and action-packed race on the tight Jeddah street circuit brought mixed results for the team. Thomas battled his way up to P5, but was handed a five-second penalty after a multi-car collision on Lap 21, leaving him in P9 after the chequered flag. Meanwhile, Brendon’s race came to an early end with a retirement on Lap 9, in what has been an overall challenging outing for the team.

A heroic martial artist fights against all odds in a war-torn Three Kingdoms epic!

DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS introduces a new, deeper interpretation of the traditional Three Kingdoms storyline. The protagonist of this title takes to the battlefield alongside the heroes of the Three Kingdoms, wiping out swarms of enemies with swords, fists and various other weapons. Travelling across the world map as they embark on their epic journey, players can suppress rebellions or choose to rescue government forces during “Missions”, overcome “Skirmishes”, and visit various locations where they will be able to buy weapons. Throughout their quest, players will also encounter a variety of characters familiar to the DYNASTY WARRIORS franchise such as Cao Cao and Liu Bei. Depending on the bond forged, these characters can become travelling companions, or an enemy.

In 1 vs. 1,000 combat, players will have to master and alternate between swift and powerful attacks that can break an opponent’s guard. Repeated attacks will increase the protagonist’s “Bravery”, enabling them to use unique and powerful attacks called “Arts”. These “Arts” will be unique to each weapon, so it will be crucial for players to master the various arsenal at their disposal, gain “Rank” and improve their skills.

Not only will players have to master the protagonist’s various attacks if they want to emerge victorious on the battlefield, they will also have to strengthen their defence. By blocking enemy attacks at the right moment, a powerful riposte “Parry” can be unleashed, creating a breach in the enemy’s defence. Some attacks cannot be blocked, so players will have to dodge them before counterattacking.

The beta test will be conducted on PC and Endministrators can check their selection status by logging on to the official website with the GRYHPLINE account used to register for the beta test. Additionally, accepted players were sent an email on Jan 9. to the address used for the beta test sign-up survey with instructions on completing beta registration.

Players can stay up to date on the latest information by joining the Endfield Technical Test Exclusive Discord Group to unlock exclusive forum channels for testing and engaging in discussions with other Endministrators on the global server. New Playable Characters:

Characters featured in the previous test have undergone significant updates, including new models, animations, and special effects. In the upcoming beta test, players will have access to 15 playable characters, including two Endministrators (one of which is a new playable Endministrator) and 13 playable characters, with six new characters introduced in the test phase. This beta will also provide a preview of a limited portion of the game’s monetization system.

Combat and Character Progression:

Based on player feedback from the previous test, some adjustments have been made to various systems, including combat mechanics, skill effects, and character progression: 

New “Combo Skills”: Under specific conditions, characters can trigger powerful combo attacks between them.

New “Dodge” Mechanic: Added instant combat elements like dodging to enhance gameplay.

Adjustments to Skill Effects and Release Logic: Skills, their effects, and how they are executed in combat have been refined.

Changes to Item Usage: The use of consumable items like potions during battles has been updated.

Expanded Character Progression: Character development now offers more depth and variety, allowing for a richer progression experience.

Base Building System:

The beta test introduces new tutorials and advanced gameplay mechanics to further enrich the player experience: 

Base Building Tutorials: Various guides have been added to help players master the base construction system.

New Defensive Structures: Tower defense-style buildings have been introduced, supporting both offensive and defensive operations.

Expanded Construction Areas: Unlike the previous test, where factories could only be built in the central Hub Area, other maps now feature outposts where players can establish and expand their factories.

Story, Scenes, and Levels:

Several updates have been made to the game’s storyline and environments to offer a more immersive experience:

Reworked Main Storyline: The main quest line has been expanded and enriched for a more captivating narrative.

New Maps: Nine maps will be available in the beta

New Puzzle and Dungeon Content: Fresh puzzle mechanics and dungeons have been added to increase gameplay variety.

UI and System Enhancements: 

User interface and system guidance have been improved based on player feedback from the previous test.
