Finishing off their video series detailing the upcoming Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Ubisoft have put out “Believe in Ghosts: Episode 3”, which details the game’s mechanics even further. Richard “Mack” Machowicz explains in the clip about how important gathering intel is on the battlefield, and just how it will work into Future Soldier’s multiplayer mode.

The entire clip shows off an entire mission, with both real and in-game footage being used to show how players will use this said intel to become victorious. You can check out the video in full below, and Ghost Recon’s next epic chapter will find itself in stores come May.

Go undercover in Hong Kong with the developers of Sleeping Dogs

You have to admit, United Front Games has some pretty big balls. You wouldn’t be able to pay me enough money to walk the streets of Hong Kong and openly try to find members of the Triad to talk with, however these developers have put it all on the line when it comes to making Sleeping Dogs as you can see in the below developer diary.

In this developer diary the developers at United Front Games discuss the game’s setting of Hong Kong and explained how they researched various members of society including members of the Triad. Though if you listen closely it is easy to see that this probably was the most uncomfortable and life-threatening experience they had ever had.

Max Payne 3 will always keep you in the action with brand new visual techniques

Every so often you hear about how some game is going to contain a new feature that will revolutionize gaming and every game that is released afterwords would be idiotic for not adopting this feature for use in their game. However these features usually never pan out properly and end up becoming very forgetful or even hurt the gameplay in the end.

On the other hand, Rockstar’s Max Payne 3 seems to be on to something with their new visual techniques. As you can see in the video below Max Payne 3 will feature a new version of visual editing techniques that will allow for the game to switch between action, cinematics and even levels with absolutely flawless transition. Don’t take my word for it however, take a look below and see for yourself!

Big Bass Arcade: No Limit Gets a trailer

Fishing games have been around for years and are usually not my cup of tea. That is mainly due to the fact that many of the said titles revolve around simulation, and you can spend hours trying to find an appropriate spot before giving up and turning off your console all together. Thankfully, it seems Big John Games are ready to bring a more arcade version of the genre back to consoles, with Big Bass Arcade: No Limit hitting the Wii later this Spring.

As you can see in the trailer (found below), this title is all about the action of fishing, relieving the player of the boring and monotonous hunt. Yes, this isn’t the most visual of fishing affairs, but I personally think these graphics play well into the arcadey nature of the game and make it that much more appealing to all of us who spent hours playing Sega’s Bass Fishing many years ago. There are plenty of fishing games on the Wii, but this title looks to be nothing more than raw, fishing fun, without any of the gimmicks. Watch the clip below, and once we reel in an official release date for Big Bass Arcade: No Limit, we will be sure to bring you an update.

Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat’s Battle of The Week Kicks off in Style

0

With the upcoming release of Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat hitting shelves on April 17th, 345 Games are ready to kick off their campaign for the game that puts the worlds greatest combatants in matches, where it’s a battle to the death. This week, Attila the Hun is highlighted, taking on the legendary Alexander the Great.

Here is a glimpse of each Warrior’s profile:

Attila the Hun – With an unknown birthdate, the Hunnic warrior known as Attila came into the fifth century as violent as he was mysterious. One of the most barbaric men to ever control an empire, Attila ruled from modern Germany to Central Asia with an iron first from 433-453. Known for leading his formidable Hun horseback riders and cunning battle strategy, Attila died pathetically in his bedchamber on his wedding day. If given a second chance, would he die by the hands of his emperor forefather Alexander, or rise to the top of ruling the world?

Alexander the Great –Alexander’s greatest days come nearly 800 years prior to Attila’s rise in the mid-fourth century BC. Even with that much time between these two, Alexander shared many characteristics with the Hunnic warlord. Born to Macedon, Alexander was an outside figure to traditional Greece culture, before stepping in and taking what he felt as rightfully his. From Greece to Africa to deep into the Persian Empire and India, Alexander ruled three different continents. Unfortunately, he too fell by an ignoble death, due to a simple fever that may or may not have been an assassination.

Who will win? Well, that will be up to you when you pick up the game when it hits the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in just a little over a month. For now though, check out the new screenshots down below.

Yesterday Release Date Announced

Full action trailer

The Next Big Thing may have been the last big thing, Runaway was a runaway success, and now we don’t have long to wait until Yesterday.

Pendulo Studios have announced that thier next adventure game, Yesterday, will be released on PC on Thursday March 22nd.

Yesterday tells the story of one John Yesterday, who wakes up with, ironically, no memory of yesterday. All he recalls is that he recently tried to commit suicide in Paris, he’s an expert in Satanism, and he’s been hired to investigate a religious sect’s involvement in a spate of murders of New York’s homeless population. A life like that you’d assume one would remember, but it’s clear the memory loss is due to powers beyond his control.

Maybe, the character calls himself Yesterday because he can’t remember his real name? I’m guessing now, but we’ll find out soon enough.

Read our hands-on preview of the game, and check out the new screenshots below.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City’s free DLC will take place during Jill’s escape from the Nemesis

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is set to be released in North America next week and while the main game will already have a ton of content available for gamers to sink their teeth into, Capcom is already preparing a new piece of DLC that will be entirely free when it is released on April 10th.

This DLC will place players in the shoes of the U.S. Special Forces rather than Umbrella Security and will take place during the same time Jill Valentine is escaping from the Nemesis in Resident Evil 3. Considering the title is supposed to be a “What if” styled game, this could mean many more famous scenes appearing during future pieces of DLC.

Finish off your enemies with a little more flair with Skyrim’s 1.5 patch

Variety is a must in life and even in Skyrim things can get a bit repetitive after you’ve seen the same kill cam animation repeated multiple times. However that is all about to change as Bethesda has a fancy new addition coming down the pipe for The Elder Scrolls V:Skyrim inside patch 1.5.

In this new patch there are of course a few random things such as “better transition” when going in the water as well as fixing bugs and glitches and the like. The main addition however is a slew of new kill cams for melee weapons and even kill cams for magic and ranged weaponry. Take a look at some of these killing animations below and salivate as you wait for this update to come to the console versions soon while PC players can pick up the beta version right now.

The Walking Dead video game takes a bite out of multiple platforms starting in April

We learned very recently that The Walking Dead: The Game was being certified for release on a number of consoles, so many in fact that the list would be smaller if you listed what consoles it wasn’t on.

However the game will be released on the Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, PC, Mac and iOS platforms and today Telltale revealed to IGN that the first of the five-episode adventure title will be released in April with the next four game’s to follow “regularly.” Perhaps the most interesting thing fans are waiting to see is how close will The Walking Dead game stick to the information revealed in The Walking Dead universe so far, or if it will just do its own thing with an entirely new set of rules and information…
