Watch new trailer for farming sim meets tower defense adventure The Rabbit Haul

Earth Appreciation Festival Dev Diary details day/night cycle of gardening and guarding your crops

Edmonton, Canada, April 1st, 2025 – Caldera Interactive has unveiled the all new story trailer for its upcoming cozy farming sim / tower defense hybrid The Rabbit Haul, as part of Earth Appreciation Festival 2025, running from April 1st to April 8th on Steam. This highlights games that focus on ecological themes, where nature shapes the gameplay and storytelling in a way that highlights its harmony – or offers a look at the world we’ll inhabit if we don’t treat it with respect.

Coming to PC and Switch in 2026, The Rabbit Haul places players in the role of a cute cottontail trying to rebuild their hometown after it’s been ravaged by greedy raccoon gang, the Trash Panda Posse. During the day, you must tend to your crops, replenish your food reserves and economy, water your farm, add harvested produce to your haul, and grow defensive tower plants that will help thwart off invaders. Be strategic in your placement, as an ideal garden will make use of synergies created between harmonious plants.

When you choose to switch over into nighttime, you must defend your haul against the assailing Trash Panda Posse. They’ll grow stronger with each wave, with different enemy types attempting to spoil your riches, so you must upgrade your weapons and defenses to ensure you can survive the night!

No two playthroughs are ever the same, as The Rabbit Haul features a sprawling, randomly generated world full of quests and treasures. Explore the overworld to discover unique items and allies that will help rebuild your town and reinforce your defenses even further. Between runs, you can upgrade your towers, unlock new merchants, and prepare yourself for your next adventure. With an array of unique weapons, upgrade paths, powerful towers and crops to unlock, The Rabbit Haul offers countless playstyles to master!

In addition to the story trailer, Caldera Interactive also put together this 60-second Dev Diary offering an introduction to The Rabbit Haul’s gameplay loop. Take a peak at The Rabbit Haul’s structure and sign up for its alpha playtest this summer on Discord!

“With the escalation of climate change in recent years, we wanted to make a game that celebrates thriving ecosystems based on biodiversity,” said Mickael Zerihoun, Co-Founder at Caldera Interactive. “It’s important to find balance in nature, which is what The Rabbit Haul is all about. You need to grow crops, as well as defend them, creating a sustainable habitat for all harekind!”

Players can assume the role of hardened interrogator, benevolent ally, or something in between in this free-to-play graphic-text adventure. Packed with fourth-wall-obliterating humor and a distinct lack of salad, Cat Girl Without Justice is available to play now at https://catgirl.wayforward.com/.

For those who want a lot of zappin’ to go with the yappin’, the original Cat Girl Without Salad: Amuse-Bouche is now available on Steam, allowing players to join Kebako and her partner/lackey Squiddie on a mission to hunt down and capture the galaxies’ most preposterous criminals. With hilarious wall-to-wall voice acting by the legendary Cristina “Vee” Valenzuela and weapons based on platformers, puzzlers, RPGs, sports, and more, Cat Girl Without Salad: Amuse-Bouche is an action-packed, bite-sized adventure that annihilates genre expectations and is guaranteed to make players feel at least 17% more zesty. Best of all, for a limited time, the Steam version of Cat Girl Without Salad: Amuse-Bouche will be priced at a meager $2, and the previously released editions in the Nintendo Switch eShop and on itch.io will be temporarily discounted to $2 as well. Initially conceived as an April Fool’s joke in 2013, Cat Girl Without Salad: Amuse-Bouche reached meteoric heights due to popular fan demand and was brought to life as an actual product in 2016. Following a Humble Bundle-exclusive PC release, the game has since made its way to multiple platforms, and a physical version for Nintendo Switch — including a fabulously blingtastic collector’s edition — was even released through Limited Run Games in 2021. Big Butts and Pure Hearts Save the World with Bubble Butt

TOKYO, Japan – April 1, 2025 – Bubble Butt, the multi choice game of self-acceptance and big butts from developer and publisher Studio Terranova (Terranova), and created during 2025’s Global Game Jam brings big booty action to PC and Mac via itch.io today with a Steam release coming in 2025.

Enter the world of a super ordinary and super bored protagonist. Fated to spend their days doom-scrolling the internet and following their favorite MOBA influencer Bubleigh_Boughtie, a sudden wish gives our hero more than they ever bargained for: a bountiful, bodacious booty, a world in peril, and pants that no longer fit right. Take control of our ponderous posterior protagonist and save not only the planet, but yourself as well in this bite-sized adventure of big bottoms and self-love.

Navigate a richly illustrated world with memorable characters and pun-tastic dialogue. Take on increasingly humorous and high-stakes situations where only the power of charged-up cheeks and smart choices can lead our plumped-up protagonist to a happier life and true acceptance. Be warned, as each choice carries a different consequence, and too many wrong decisions can lead to a world of ruin and our hero being the butt of every bad joke. No pressure!

“Bubble Butt is a game about giant butts saving the world, what’s not to love?” said CJ, lead programmer, Studio Terranova. “We had a tremendous amount of fun making this game, and we hope that everyone who plays this game walks away with a new sense of love for themselves and some laughs along the way.”

Bubble Butt is available on itch.io today for PC and Mac, with a Steam release coming later in 2025.

War Thunder Mobile conquers the past to control the future

Age of Sail battles are already available to the players

War Thunder Mobile sets a new course—straight into the past. With the launch of the “Treasure Hunt” update, Gaijin Entertainment introduces a bold expansion into the golden age of piracy. Players can now command massive sailing galleons, fire broadsides in the Caribbean Sea, and hunt for treasure on mysterious islands.

This isn’t just another content update; it’s a strategic move. While others race toward the future, War Thunder Mobile proudly hoists the sails and embraces the golden age of naval warfare that never really went out of fashion.

From April 1st to 8th, players will battle for treasure, collect rare vehicles in pirate trophies, and explore the seas in style. The update bring a stunning Caribbean location filled with reefs, shoals, and that perfect vacation-sunset illumination—if your idea of a vacation involves cannon fire and tactical ambushes. Players will also get their hands on a variety of historically flavored firepower: galleons equipped with broadside salvos, customizable shell types including sail-shredding chain shot, and a new mission system based on pirate map fragments.

Don’t expect the time travel to stop in the 1600s. The developers are already charting a course even further back—toward the oar-driven clashes of ancient history. Research is underway to bring iconic warships like Greek triremes and Persian vessels to life, with their thunderous ramming tactics and tightly packed rows of rowers. Future updates will explore these legendary naval confrontations, continuing War Thunder Mobile’s unapologetic voyage through the most dramatic moments in maritime warfare.
