UK publisher Silver Lining Interactive and developer IMPRNT STUDIOS today announced a publishing partnership for Hounded – an upcoming third-person narrative dog-adventure game set in a dark Flintlock Fantasy world for PC. A gameplay trailer for Hounded will feature in the Insider Gaming Showcase on Thursday, 28 May at 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 8pm BST.

In Hounded, players step into the paws of Duke, a loyal young Border Collie searching for his missing master. Guided by scent, instinct, and a mysterious force known as The Tide, Duke must navigate a dangerous world filled with secrets, enemies, and unlikely allies in a desperate journey to reunite with the person he loves most.

In Tomb Busters, players take on the role of a tomb raider working for The Supernatural Company, delving into tombs filled with deadly traps and a bestiary of ancient horrors rooted in Chinese folklore. These critters and creatures of the night are kitted out with abilities that maximise the horror, comedy, and multiplayer chaos of Tomb Busters, such as:

• The Red Panda, super cute but highly aggressive cirtters. Left to cry, it will eventually mutate to a considerably less cute and cuddly form. 
• The shapeshifting Alternate, which copies the appearance of another player, even down to cosmetics, to lure a team member into a deadly embrace.
• The Jiangshi, which hides in cabinets and then hop around chasing isolated players. They are extremely fast and their attacks will poison players, causing them to also hop like a Jiangshi for 10 seconds. 

Players can take on a tomb alone, or team up in a four-player squad, choosing from a selection of characters each with their own unique role and abilities. Going deeper into a tomb will result in more dangers to face, and dying means losing everything. Random weather events such as dense fog, solar eclipses, and blood moons can mix things up as well, keeping players on their toes.

Tomb Busters was built from the ground up specifically to create a gameplay environment that’s scary by yourself, but delivers natural emergent comedy when played with friends. Giant Games is developing Tomb Busters as a high quality long-running global live service title, and has already begun rolling out player events, creator activities, and a creator program, to help encourage more players to download the game and join the community.

Taming Wild Creatures

Tames are wild creatures caught using a Taming Box baited with each species’ preferred item. Once tamed, they live at the player’s base, periodically shed species-specific resources, and lay eggs if kept fed and content. Tamed creatures require ongoing care: neglect them and they revert to a wild state, and not always quietly.

Companions: Friends For LifeCompanions are hatched from those eggs in a Hatchery and serve a different role. They can be ridden across the island, fight alongside the player, carry loot in an upgradeable inventory, and respond to direct commands (Stay, Follow, Attack, Stop, Mount, Dismiss) with adjustable combat stances. Unlike tames, companions cannot be permanently killed – when downed in combat, they recover on their own once danger passes.

Companions can be tiered up and have their own core stats (Mobility, Ferocity, Lifeblood, Burden, and Hardiness) that improve through use. Companions can also be customized with cute hats. Together, Taming and Companions systems create a loop that connects exploration, base-building, and combat in a personal way.  

The latest gameplay video offers the most detailed look yet at how these systems come together in practice, and also reveals several new creatures: 

• Curse Eye – a mysterious presence found in Crystal Caves 
• Giant Bee – a busy but dangerous inhabitant of forests and meadows

Explore ancient mysteries in a Lovecraftian narrative puzzle adventure

Sydney, Australia – May 27, 2026 – Microids is pleased to announce that Call of the Elder Gods: Miskatonic Edition, created by Kwalee and Out of the Blue Games, will launch in retail on September 10, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, following the game’s digital release on May 12, 2026. Set after the events of the critically acclaimed Call of the Sea, this new Lovecraftian narrative puzzle adventure takes players on a journey across forgotten corners of the world, where ancient horrors and impossible truths await.  At Miskatonic University, Professor Harry Everhart struggles with disturbing visions lurking at the edge of reality, while student Evangeline Drayton is plagued by impossible dreams tied to a mysterious artifact uncovered years earlier. As their paths converge, the truth they uncover will challenge everything they thought they knew about time, reality, and the gods beyond.
