Tactical Extraction Shooter to Launch on Steam This Month with a Complete Gameplay Experience: Five Distinctive Maps, New Weapons, Features, and Major Changes Including a “No Pay-To-Win” Pledge

September 2, 2025 – MoreFun Studios announced today that its immersive tactical extraction shooter, Arena Breakout: Infinite, will officially launch on Steam on September 15. Building on the momentum of over 2 million Steam wishlists, this highly anticipated free-to-play extraction shooter is finally set for its Full Release.

After a year of refinement and optimization, this Full Release is set to deliver a more polished and comprehensive experience to players, including five distinct maps—Farm, Valley, Armory, TV Station, and Northridge—each enhanced by a dynamic weather system that cycles through sunshine, rain, and fog, with the possibility of extreme storms. The update continues to offer a variety of game modes, including Normal, Lockdown, Forbidden at various difficulty levels— alongside highly requested Solo Mode and other special events.

Full Release also introduces a series of new content for both new and veteran players:

  • Complete Trophy Room: The Trophy Room (hideout) is now fully expanded, featuring the Intelligence Department, Living Area, and Workbench, along with a new progression and crafting system. Top-tier supplies, such as red ammo and top-tier gears, can now only be crafted here.
  • New Weapons and Accessories: On top of the existing 69 weapons and 881 accessories, three new weapons—the PP19, CZ807, AN94—will be added, along with 40 new tactical accessories.
  • Map Expansion: The Farm map will be expanded to include new areas like the Grain Trading Zone and Stables.
  • New Tactical Items: Players will have more strategic options with the introduction of new medical items like the Experimental Physique Enhancing Pill and Battlefield First Aid Kit Set.
  • Supply Station: Certain supplies can now be purchased from supply stations on maps, enhancing your ability to sustain combat in raids.

In addition to new content, this Full Release update also responds to the collective wishes of both new and veteran players, bringing game-changing features and improvements for the PC gaming community to ensure a balanced and fair experience. This core commitment to fair play remains central to the Arena Breakout: Infinite’s philosophy, with a strong emphasis on supporting and encouraging a fair gameplay environment:

  • High-Tier Item Rebalancing: Certain high-tier ammos and gear have been removed from the market and can now only be acquired through crafting or found in raids, promoting a more balanced gameplay experience.
  • Free Largest Secure Case: The newly added Titanium Case (9 grids), the largest secure case, is available exclusively by completing seasonal missions.
  • No Pay to Win: In-game currency (Koens) cannot be purchased with real-world money.

PAX West 2026 Returns to the Seattle Convention Center from Sept. 4-7, 2026

SEATTLE – Sept 2, 2025 – Show organizers ReedPop and Penny Arcade revealed today at the conclusion of PAX West 2025, the West Coast’s most-attended gaming event, that next year’s edition of the show returns to the Seattle Convention Center over Labor Day 2026 weekend from Friday, Sept. 4, through Monday, Sept. 7. 

PAX West 2025 welcomed more than a hundred thousand attendees from all over the world, with even more fans coming together digitally to participate in the festivities hosted across Twitch, Steam, and other online platforms. 

Highlights from the weekend included a storytime keynote with Final Fantasy producer Yoshi-P, the latest updates on the Resident Evil and Monster Hunter franchises during the Capcom Presents panel, and the debut playable US demo for Kirby Air Riders and Hollow Knight: Silksong at the Nintendo  booth.  

The show also featured two massive expo halls with games industry titans, indie developers including many from King county, tabletop freeplay areas, and competitive gaming tournaments in the PAX Arena. Beyond the show floor, attendees enjoyed thoughtful panel discussions, live concerts, elaborate cosplays, and community meetups. Little Problems is the debut release from a small, passionate, female-led Indonesian developer, Posh Cat Studio. Having always been a fan of the detective genre in comics, games, movies – and with an interest in Lovecraft and horror – Posh Cat started work on an investigative murder mystery game. However they quickly realised spending months or even years immersed in crime and horror content might be harmful to their mental health.

Melisa, Lead Developer and Founder at Posh Cat Studio, said: “We turned to cozy games and cute pictures to escape the blood and gore. Little Problems was born out of a love for wholesome, safe and approachable content but still with a passion for investigation and detection.”

“Little Problems focuses on solving mysteries based on life’s minor inconveniences and everyday misunderstandings, and of course, little problems. In Little Problems, detective work is about connecting with friends, understanding the small yet significant issues of daily life and finding joy in the simplicity of resolution. It’s not about saving the world, it’s about enriching it, one little problem at a time.”   

In Little Problems players work through the ‘little problems’ in the life of Mary, a university freshman student. Mary oversleeps, missing the first lecture of the day. Their class assignment is due, but they’ve forgotten where to meet their study group! These are a few examples of everyday little problems that require some problem-solving, minor sleuthing, and resolution.

Indonesian Narrative Adventure Title Kejora Shifts Release Date To 2026

[Singapore | 1st September, 2025] – Ever since signing Kejora back in May 2024, Soft Source has worked alongside the incredibly talented team at Berangin Creative to bring their project to life. We have been lucky to partner with them on such a heartfelt project as Kejora, which has captured the hearts of many, especially in Southeast Asia.

We want the best for Kejora, and ensure it gets the love, and support it so warrants. Kejora was initially set to launch on Steam on 4th September 2025, after being in development since 2021. Regrettably for us, as well as many other developers and publishers, we’ve learnt that the highly anticipated sequel Hollow Knight: Silksong is also set for release on 4th September 2025. We hold only respect for Team Cherry, and for anyone working on the beloved series; Hollow Knight has, and always will be, a standout game, and it is one of the most anticipated titles in the gaming industry – for a good reason.

Taking everything into account, we have made the decision to postpone the game’s release. This was a tough choice made by both the Soft Source and Berangin Creative team, but we have agreed that by releasing it on the same day as Silksong, Kejora will not get the attention it deserves.

In spite of this, we do bring good news; in light of the delay, we’re looking forward to releasing Kejora on 8th January 2026, on Steam, and together on the Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms as well.

As we work to move forward with the new release date, we thank everyone who has supported, played, and wishlisted Kejora so far. From a run-and-gun side-scroller in 2021, to the stunning narrative puzzle adventure it is today, Kejora will always remain in our hearts as a distinct representation of our Southeast Asian roots, and the incredible talent in the region.

he Crunchyroll Anime Award-Winning Series Returns with The Culling Game Arc, Officially Streaming Only on Crunchyroll in January 2026

Sydney, Australia (September 1, 2025) – During the live-streamed JUJUTSU KAISEN 5th Anniversary Special, the first teaser trailer for JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3 was shared, which also announced that it will air in January 2026.

Also referred to as JUJUTSU KAISEN The Culling Game, it has been decided that Crunchyroll will stream the third season of the hit anime series exclusively worldwide, excluding Asia, with new episodes premiering weekly, same-day as Japan.

Seen in the teaser trailer is Yuji Itadori in conflict and despair after believing he has killed many people from the “Shibuya Incident.” Also shown is a fierce battle between Yuji and Yuta Okkotsu, the main protagonist from the film JUJUTSU KAISEN 0. The preview also features a heated exchange between new character Naoya Zen’in and Choso. Megumi Fushiguro, Yuki Tsukumo, and Maki Zen’in also make brief appearances in the trailer, building anticipation before the start of The Culling Game.

About JUJUTSU KAISEN

Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.

Based on the best-selling manga of the same title written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, the anime series is produced by TOHO Animation and animated by MAPPA (Chainsaw Man; Attack on Titan Final Season; Hell’s Paradise).

With over 100 million copies currently in circulation, the manga was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump until the series ended in September 2024. In the US, the manga is published by VIZ Media.

The first season JUJUTSU KAISEN aired from October 2020 to March 2021. The second season, which consisted of the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc and the Shibuya Incident arc aired from July to December in 2023.

The anime series was named Anime of the Year at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in 2021 and 2024. The global blockbuster prequel film, JUJUTSU KAISEN 0, was awarded Best Anime Film at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in 2023 and earned around $180 million in global theatrical box office revenue.
