MILESTONE UNVEILS THE RIDE FEST CHALLENGE THE LEGENDS IN RIDE 6 CAREER MODE

Sydney, Australia – January 16, 2026 – Milestone is pleased to unveil RIDE 6’s all-new career mode, presented today through a dynamic trailer that immerses players in the passion, freedom, and fellowship of a travelling motorcycle festival called RIDE Fest. The game will land on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on February 12, 2026, with Early Access available from February 9, 2026.

The RIDE Fest replaces the traditional championship format with a more open approach, offering virtual bikers unparalleled freedom through a chapter-based, horizontal progression system. Fans can choose which events to tackle, from single races and endurance challenges to championships and time attacks, all organised into themed areas based on criteria such as bike category, manufacturer, circuit type, weather conditions, or legendary champions.

The latter is one of the biggest novelties in RIDE 6, as the game will feature 10 real-world motorcycle legends.Acting as the final bosses of dedicated chapters, icons like Troy Bayliss, Casey Stoner, and James Toseland will put players’ skills to the test in their own specialties. For instance, Niccolò Canepa, Peter Hickman, and Ian Hutchinson will challenge endurance and precision, while Tyler O’Hara brings his unmatched experience on Baggers to the track, turning every lap into a display of power and control. Again, street legend Guy Martin will push contenders to the limit on road races, while Thomas Chareyre and Skyler Howes embody the raw spirit of Motard and Off-Road racing. Facing these legends unlocks exclusive rewards, including their signature bikes and equipment, but first, riders will need to build their reputation within the festival by earning enough Fame Points throughout their career. Building up Fame Points will also be the key to unlocking new events, gradually expanding the challenges across every chapter.

The RIDE Fest paddock, featured in the trailer, serves as the main hub, an area where players can manage all game-related activities. Here, they can relax with the other riders, upgrade their bikes with the help of their mechanic crew, visit the shop, and customise their look using the bike, helmet, and racing suit editors. Accompanying riders along the way is the official Festival DJ, whose music will set the vibe for the entire experience, introducing each chapter through dedicated cutscenes.

Designed as a celebration of riding itself, the RIDE Fest will bring fans into a global community of bikers, racing across some of the world’s most iconic locations on both real and fictional tracks. Notably, RIDE 6 introduces Maxi Enduro and Bagger categories, along with off-road circuits, bringing new dimensions to the racing experience.

Importantly, to master all the variety RIDE 6 has in store, the Milan-based studio has introduced a new dual-physics system that gives players the opportunity to choose between Pro and Arcade experience, tailoring the gameplay to everyone’s preferred level of realism or fun, while always preserving a solid simulation core.

RIDE 6 launches February 12, 2026, on PC, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S, with Early Access available from February 9, 2026.

Return to the Land of Light and Shadow in Magic: The Gathering Lorwyn Eclipsed

Dare to enter the ever-changing plane of Lorwyn and Shadowmoor and discover your true self.

January 16, 2026 — Wizards of the Coast today launched Prerelease events for Lorwyn Eclipsed, the latest set for the world-renowned trading card game, Magic: The Gathering (MTG). Cross the boundary into the eternal day of Lorwyn and brave the twisted landscape and wild Magic of Shadowmoor. Discover your true self under the perpetual moonlight of this dual-aspect plane. Lorwyn Eclipsed will be released for MTG Arena on January 20 and available everywhere for tabletop on January 23.

Every light casts a shadow…

Welcome back to Lorwyn-Shadowmoor, the plane of light and shadow. Lorwyn-Shadowmoor was once a plane that would shift between its two aspects: Lorwyn, where the sun never fully sets, and Shadowmoor, where the moon cycles endlessly through a cool night. But much has changed in the years since our last visit. The two aspects of the plane began to bleed into one another, day into night and night into day.

Now, four first-year Strixhaven students, Abigale, Kirol, Tam, and Sanar, have stumbled through an Omenpath and found themselves in this strange new world. Ajani and Liliana are hot on their heels investigating their disappearance, as the conflict between Lorwyn and Shadowmoor escalates. Elemental forces clash, familiar faces emerge, and the fate of the plane hangs in the balance.

New and Returning Mechanics

A return to Lorwyn-Shadowmoor for Magic: The Gathering brings new and old mechanics to the landscape, capturing the essence of the duality between both aspects of the plane.

These mechanics include:

  • Vivid, an ability word that highlights abilities that care about the number of colours among permanents you control. Each vivid ability uses this number in a different way.
  • Blight, a new keyword action utilising Lorwyn Eclipsed’s prominent feature of -1/-1 counters. One obvious use for them is to make opposing creatures weaker. One less-obvious use for them is to make your own creatures weaker. But why? One reason is blight, a new keyword action. There are many reasons to blight. It’s often a cost you pay, such as to activate an ability or as an additional cost to cast a spell. While -1/-1 counters aren’t great for your creatures, there are several ways in this set to remove them. These effects not only relieve the counters’ power and toughness penalties, but the effects often have additional benefits as well.
  • Changeling, a returning keyword that allows the card that has it to be every creature type. Creatures with changeling could be anyone or anything. It’s a Human. It’s a Goat. It’s a Surrakar.
  • Kindred, a returning card type that’s added to noncreature cards to allow them to have creature types. For example, being a kindred allows Boggart Mischief to also be a Goblin. This means it’s a Goblin card in your library, graveyard, and so on. So, if you search your library for a Goblin card, you can find Boggart Mischief.
  • Double-faced cards, encapsulating the transformative nature of Lorwyn and Shadowmoor by revealing a different aspect of these characters on each face as they walk the different aspects of the plane. All of the double-faced cards in this set are nonmodal double-faced cards, previously known as transforming double-faced cards. This means that, unlike some double-faced cards, they have no mana costs on their back faces and when you cast them you can cast only their front faces.

Choose Between Light and Shadow

Each of Lorwyn Eclipsed’s two commander decks features a legendary commander tied to Lorwyn or Shadowmoor, giving you a new way to play Magic: The Gathering’s most popular format. Lead your forces with Ashling’s Dance of the Elements or Auntie Ool’s Blight Curse. Two legendary Commanders, two sides of Lorwyn’s duality. Embrace the power of harmony or harness the potential of blight at your next Commander night.

Collecting Lorwyn Eclipsed

Rebecca Guay’s artwork helped players fall in love with the plane of Lorwyn-Shadowmoor, and she’s lending her talents to Lorwyn Eclipsed on this serialised version of Bitterbloom Bearer. Individually numbered and packed with faerie flavour, this card is fit for the high fae.

This version of Bitterbloom Bearer appears only in Lorwyn Eclipsed Collector Boosters. Serialised versions of Bitterbloom Bearer can appear in Collector Boosters of any language, but the card will always be in English. Serialised cards are mechanically identical to their non-serialised counterparts.

Get cozy with a cup of boggart-brewed tea and settle in for a story with these fable frame cards. This treatment features a new card frame that harkens back to classic storybooks, complete with artwork to match. Fable frame cards can be found in both non-foil and traditional foil in Play Boosters and Collector Boosters.

The Japanese Booster Fun team has taken 10 cards from Lorwyn Eclipsed and reimagined them in the style of Japanese hobby shops, complete with a special frame that makes the mana symbols and artwork truly pop. For collectible curators who are looking for the shiniest cards, fracture foil Japan Showcase cards add an additional level of shimmering beauty. Japan Showcase cards appear only in Collector Boosters.

Special Guests cards take a collection of fan favourite cards from Magic history and reimagine them under the sun and moon of Lorwyn-Shadowmoor. Here, you’ll find classic cards recreated with woodcut-style artwork, as if the inhabitants of the plane crafted these cards themselves. You can find these cards in non-foil in Play Boosters and traditional foil in Collector Boosters.

Beloved Magic artists from the Lorwyn and Shadowmoor blocks are making their return on select borderless cards from this set. Each card brings an artist who worked on our first visits to the plane into our latest expression of Lorwyn-Shadowmoor. These cards are available in both non-foil and traditional foil in Play Boosters and Collector Boosters.

One side is Lorwyn, one side is Shadowmoor, and together they form a stunning cycle of borderless shock lands. These reversible cards show off both aspects of the plane on a single card. These cards are mechanically identical to their counterparts in the default Magic frame and appear in both non-foil and traditional foil in Play Boosters and Collector Boosters.

Embrace the night and day with these full-art basic lands. Lorwyn and Shadowmoor each have their own cycle of full-art basic lands, letting you theme your decks to the aspect of your choice. Or you can mix and match them for the ultimate eclipsed-realm deck.

Magic: The Gathering Lorwyn Eclipsed includes Play Boosters, Collector Boosters, Commander Decks, Draft Night, Bundles, 60-Card Theme Decks, and Prerelease Packs.

Moon Studios Releases Action-Packed New Trailer for No Rest for the Wicked Together Co-op Update; Fight Together Through Persistent Realms Starting Jan. 22

Join Forces in the Highly Anticipated Update for the Beautifully Brutal Action-RPG From the Team Behind the Ori Series

Independent developer Moon Studios has revealed a brand-new trailer for the upcoming co-op multiplayer update for the unique action-RPG,No Rest for the Wicked, ahead of its official launch. Titled No Rest for the Wicked Together, the update was officially revealed last December in the latest episode of the Wicked Inside developer presentation and is planned for release on Jan. 22, 2026. The new trailer goes even deeper into the upcoming co-op content, highlighting all of the major changes players can expect while traversing the lush and forbidding world of Isola Sacra with up to three friends. No Rest for the Wicked is currently available in Early Access and available to Wishlist onPC via Steam.

Watch the No Rest for the Wicked Together trailer on YouTube below.

No Rest for the Wicked Together reimagines traditional co-op multiplayer play of current ARPGs and MMORPGS, allowing up to four players to share a free, persistent Realm without the need for a host to be online. Shared upgrades to No Rest’s soulslike combat let enemies react naturally (and desperately) to being cornered or outnumbered, and new hand-picked enemy locations means plenty of new surprises. Players can work together during downtime to share and build housing, visit newly reworked vendors, and employ a simple voting system to keep fellow players from causing too much chaos. In addition to all the co-op multiplayer features, this latest update brings numerous quality-of-life updates to No Rest for the Wicked.

No Rest for the Wicked is the third full-length game from Moon Studios, following in the footsteps of the immensely beloved Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Players take on the role of a “Cerim,” a member of a holy order imbued with mysterious powers, tasked with destroying the Pestilence, an ancient plague that has begun to consume the island Isola Sacra, itself already the site of great political upheaval and death. Collect and craft weapons, items, engage in tense soulslike combat against fearsome foes, upgrade their character and personal homestead, and play their part in an epic tale of bloodshed and bravery. It’s all brought to life through the signature painterly and vivid art style of Moon Studios that helped define the Ori series as some of the most visually appealing titles of their generation.

Monsters and Me gets messy on PC February 10

January 15, 2026 – A catastrophic slime-ocalypse has ruined the city, the locals are looking… not great, and you’re one of the last humans left standing. Rough luck.

Monsters and Me, the relentlessly chaotic top-down arcade shooter from GhettoCo and publisher indie.io, launches on PC via Steam and GOG on February 10.

Built around fast, round-based action, Monsters and Me throws players into nonstop waves of slime mutant rage freaks armed with guns, perks, supers, and a growing sense that things are about to get out of hand. It’s quick, messy, funny, and more than a little gross — exactly how a slime apocalypse should be.

Players can go solo or grab a friend for local co-op and jump straight into the madness:
-Turn on the power (because nothing works without it).
-Buy weapons and supers — big ones, loud ones, stupidly fun ones.
-Fight off wave after wave of bloodthirsty freaks.
-Die horribly. Laugh about it.
-Do it again. But better.

The game features 18 upgradable weapons, including shotguns, rifles, flamethrowers, and more – each with three upgrade levels (yes, that’s math). On top of that are 12 special abilities, five perks, and four playable characters – Brian, Bob, Nina, and Tony –  each bringing their own vibe, catchphrases, and questionable survival strategies.

With randomized waves, power-ups, and weapons, every run turns into a glorious mess. Add in fluid controls, crunchy pixel art carnage, and comedic cutscenes packed with meme-ready moments, and Monsters and Me becomes the kind of game that’s just as fun to watch as it is to play.

One day a waste plant explodes. The next day the city is covered in sludge mutants. You’re armed with sheer willpower, an angry shotgun, and very little time to think about your choices. Uncover the slime-filled truth behind the outbreak, evolve your loadout, and become the baddest post-apocalyptic slime-slayer this side of an arcade cabinet.

Monsters and Me launches February 10 on PC via Steam and GOG. Wishlist it now on Steam –  and don’t forget to reload, dude.

A Strategic Roguelike Where Typing Is the Weapon

[California – January 15] –   Prepare to enter Tomb of the Bloodletter, a strategic typing roguelike where combat is less about min-maxing builds and more about pulling off the perfect word at exactly the right moment. The game launches on PC via Steam on February 5, 2026, developed by solo developer Ethan’s Secretions, with a demo available now.

Tomb of the Bloodletter is a roguelike built entirely around typing, turning the keyboard into an arsenal and every word into a potential weapon. When players enter a floor, Magicks are assigned directly to individual letters, each obeying strange and specific rules. A letter may strike harder when placed at the end of a word, another might restore health, while other Magicks punish certain patterns or combinations, requiring careful consideration of not just what word to spell, but how it is constructed.

The game is structured like a traditional roguelike, with tightly paced, randomized runs lasting around 30 minutes that end in either victory or defeat. Rather than focusing on long-term build optimization, the experience emphasizes the moment-to-moment puzzle each turn presents. Players always have access to their full keyboard, with Magicks shaping how letters behave rather than limiting which words can be played. Success isn’t about having the largest vocabulary, but about tactical combinations, sequencing magick-infused letters at the right time to turn volatile interactions into powerful tools.

Each run sends players into a shifting, cursed tomb as one of four ill-fated grave robbers, each bringing unique quirks and abilities that twist the rules of combat. No matter who enters the tomb, survival is never clean, easy, or guaranteed. Every descent reshapes the dungeon, forcing adaptation as new threats and challenges emerge. The tomb crawls with cursed beasts, deceitful specters, and entities best left unspoken, each handcrafted with unique mechanics that demand clever thinking and precise wordplay to overcome. As runs progress, new Magicks are acquired whether players want them or not, slowly transforming the keyboard into an unstable spellbook that serves as both weapon and liability.

Players can get an early taste of the tomb ahead of launch with a playable demo available now on Steam, featuring the first two grave robbers.
