PIXEL TOYS’ VR ZOMBIE SHOOTER DROP DEAD WILL LAUNCH ON OCULUS RIFT THIS SPRING

Arcade Action Game to Feature Oculus Touch Support, Fast-paced Story Campaign, and Competitive and Cooperative Multiplayer

LONDON – Feb. 21, 2017 – Independent video game publisher and developer Pixel Toys has announced it will release the virtual reality zombie shooter Drop Dead this spring on Oculus Rift.

Inspired by the quick-trigger excitement of 3D arcade classics, Drop Dead gives players an arsenal of zombie-slaying weaponry and high-tech gadgets to use against the nefarious Dr. Monday in a fast-paced adventure mixing sci-fi horror and humor. Players can blast limbs off the shambling hordes of the undead to slow their advance, and an engaging combo system rewards those with true aim and accuracy with each shot.

Drop Dead, which debuted last year on Samsung Gear VR Powered by Oculus, will arrive on Oculus Rift with complete support for the intuitive controls of Oculus Touch and a graphical upgrade for an even more heart-pounding, immersive experience. The game will launch with 27 single-player story missions, as well as real-time competitive multiplayer for up to four players online using their own customized Oculus Avatars and a cooperative horde mode.

The Gear VR edition of Drop Dead will receive a free update when the game arrives on Oculus Rift containing all the original content launching with the Oculus Rift version of the game, including 14 new story missions, three bonus weapons and co-op horde mode.

Players familiar with the Warriors series of hack and slash titles will be able to feel the difference in gameplay through the way each character handles combat. For example, Guts’ massive Dragonslayer Great Sword allows for devastating attacks, and players will subsequently feel the weight of the weapon throughout battle. Alongside a vast array of weapons and sub-weapons, playable characters also possess devastating abilities that must be “awakened” to draw out their true potential. Players can take advantage of Guts’ Berserker Armour to unleash deadly blows, Griffith’s demonic Femto form to deal swift bursts of damage, and Zodd’s giant Apostle form to effortlessly topple foes. New Battle Trailer Introduces NieR: AUTOMATA’s main weapon types

LONDON (21st February 2017) – In an all-new action-packed trailer released today, Square Enix Ltd., introduced the unique array of weapon types, fluid combo system and fast-paced battle mechanics players can look forward to in the upcoming action-RPG, NieR: Automata™.

The game will feature four weapon types available to protagonist 2B (small swords, large swords, spears and combat bracers) that can be switched mid-combo to maximize 2B’s range of abilities and effectiveness. Players can also unlock a diverse arsenal of weapons and upgrades to the player’s “Pod” support system to enhance their gameplay.

A KING’S TALE available for free in March

LONDON (20^th February 2017) – Square Enix Ltd., today launched the FINAL FANTASY®XV Booster Pack + DLC, now available to all Season Pass holders.

The Booster Pack + contains powerful items that give players a potent combat advantage and improve their angling skills. These items include:

• Ragnarok – A single-handed sword allowing players to perform a powerful Warp-strike attack
• Dragon Drain – A fishing rod that suppresses the movement of fish, making harder fish easier to catch
• Avior – A reel that can pull in fish with greater strength, by taking off more HP the lower the line durability falls

The Booster Pack (Free Version), free DLC that includes the Magitek Exosuit, will be released at a later date.

In another new update (1.05) released this week, two new music tracks from the upcoming action-RPG NieR: Automata™ (“Song of the Ancients/Destiny,” “Weight of the World”) have been added to the music player in FINAL FANTASY XV, letting players enjoy the atmosphere of the game’s world while driving the Regalia, walking around or riding a chocobo. Several other additions and improvements include:

• Addition of timed quests
• Increased level cap, from 99 to 120
• Total number of saved photos increased from 150 to 200
• Music player is now accessible while riding chocobos
• Support for increased framerate on PlayStation®4 Pro lite mode

A KING’S TALE™: FINAL FANTASY® XV, previously only available as a pre-order promotion will be free to all from 1^st March – available to download via Xbox Games Store and the PlayStation® Store.
