EMERYVILLE, Calif. – June 20, 2018 – Nexon has launched Darkness Rises, the third-person action role playing game (RPG) that immerses players in a dark fantasy universe, on the App Store for iPhone and iPad and on Google Play for Android devices. The enhanced high-definition visuals of Darkness Rises leverages proprietary graphics technology that push modern mobile devices to their full potential. In Darkness Rises, players will descend into the abyss following a dark linear storyline that will pit them against powerful enemies and hulking bosses that must be conquered in order to stop an evil force that’s spreading darkness across the world.

Darkness Rises features fast and fluid combat that is highly intuitive and provides players with the flexibility and customization to fit their playstyle. As players progress through the dark fantasy narrative they will evolve and level up their hero’s skills and abilities giving them the power to chain together punishing combos to defeat titanic bosses. Using the Soul Link ability, heroes can even harness the power of the vicious bosses to vanquish their enemies on their path to restore the balance of good to the world.

At launch, players will be able select a hero from a cast of powerful and diverse character classes including assassins, berserkers, warriors and wizards. Darkness Rises gives players the ability to make their hero’s appearance their own through deep customization and personalization tools. The heroes are also voiced by prominent industry veteran voice actors, including Jo Wyatt (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt), Alec Newman (Divinity: Original Sin 2), Carina Reeves (Xenoblade Chronicles) and more to further immerse players in the world of Darkness Rises.

Cooperative dungeons in Darkness Rises will give up to four players a chance to team up in real-time to take on epic challenges together and unlock some of the game’s best rewards. Darkness Rises’ Player vs Player (PVP) mode will give players a chance to test their might against their friends and other players and work their way up the leaderboard. Additional social features including Guilds will keep players connected and provide them with unique ways to practice their moves against one another and team up and battle across new dungeons.

Grosjean, Ocon, Gasly & Sainz All Feature in New Trailer Ahead of the French Grand Prix This Weekend

Larkspur, Calif. – June 21, 2018 – Codemasters® has today released a new trailer for F1 2018, the official videogame of the 2018 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP™, that showcases the return of the French Grand Prix to the calendar by talking to the local F1 drivers about the recreation of their home circuit in the new game. French nationals, Romain Grosjean, Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly, as well as Renault Sport Formula One Team’s Carlos Sainz, talked to Codemasters about the new Circuit Paul Ricard and their experience with the game.

Available to view now at www.youtube.com/formula1game the new trailer for F1 2018 shows the first ever gameplay footage of the Circuit Paul Ricard as the four drivers navigate their way around the track, talking about their experiences.

“Of course the French Grand Prix is the one I am most looking forward to in the year,” said Haas F1 Team driver, Grosjean. “It will be my first time racing in my home Grand Prix and a lot of French fans are coming to support us.”

Gasly added: “I am massively excited. To have a home Grand Prix is a special feeling. You can really feel the support.”

This was also the first time that the four drivers were able to get their hands on F1 2018, which will release onto PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X and Windows PC (DVD and via Steam) worldwide on Friday 24th August 2018.

“I have been playing games since I was a kid… and I haven’t stopped,” said Ocon. “The games have evolved massively and are getting more and more realistic. It is still my routine to go training during the day and I play for one or two hours in the evening… and I find it very useful. When we don’t have a race weekend I keep racing on my own.”

“This is my first try on F1 2018 and I am super impressed. I am a big fan of the games and have played them since I was a kid”, added Gasly. “Every year it keeps getting better.”

Sainz commented: “I spend my time at home practicing in the Formula 1 game and on the simulator at Renault. You can be sure that we do this kind of practice.”

Reflecting on the feedback of the drivers, Lee Mather, Game Director, F1 2018 said: “It is fantastic for us to get time with the real drivers. These are the guys who know what it is really like to drive these incredible cars and to have them give honest feedback is always extremely valuable. The fact that they were all positive about the game and the direction in which we are taking it is great to hear.”

As well as the introduction of Circuit Paul Ricard Codemasters has already announced that players who pre-order or purchase ‘Day One’ copies of F1 2018 will have exclusive access to the iconic 2009 Brawn BGP-001 and the 2003 Williams FW25, as DLC content of the ‘F1 2018 Headline Edition.’ Alternatively, the two cars will be available to be purchased together at a later date.

The sequel to Drawful, the beloved game of terrible art, Drawful 2 challenges players to create weird, funny drawings in response to nonsensical prompts. Discover the Novelization of Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey and Explore the Golden Age of Ancient Greece

SYDNEY, Australia — June 21, 2018 — Ubisoft has announced the publishing line-up for Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey, including a novel, an art book and an official guide – all of which will be published worldwide starting this autumn. Through these books, fans will be able to step even further into the world of Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey as they deepen their knowledge of the game and its lore.

The broadening Ubisoft publishing collection aspires to provide fans with a wide variety of exclusive insights into their many worlds. The vast universe of Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey will be expanded beyond the game to explore: the main story from Kassandra’s point of view, the artwork behind the beautiful and unique regions of the Golden Age of ancient Greece, and an official strategy guide.

Published by Ubisoft and Penguin Random House, the novelization of Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey will tell the main story of the game from Kassandra’s point of view. Kassandra, a descendant of Leonidas, is caught in the turmoil of the Peloponnesian War. Because of the prophecy of an oracle, she was left for dead by her family and escaped from Sparta. 17 years later, now a mercenary in Kephallonia, an unexpected turn of events causes her to set sail across war-torn Greece on an Odyssey to reunite her family and confront the ones who tore it apart. The author, Gordon Doherty, is a Scottish historical fiction writer who previously wrote the Legionary series, set in the Eastern Roman Empire in the late 4th century AD, and the Strategos Trilogy, set in 11th century Anatolia.

The Art of Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey, an art book published by Titan Books, will take readers on an epic voyage into the Golden Age of ancient Greece, a pivotal period that shaped the world and still influences today’s societies. Readers will explore the world of Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey as they discover its regions and secrets, and learn more about Kassandra and Alexios, their armor, their styles and the weapons they use to ply their deadly trade. Concept sketches, texture studies, character art and fully rendered paintings are accompanied by insightful comments and notes from the artists and developers.

The Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey Official Collector’s Edition Guide, a guidebook published by Prima Games, is an indispensable tool for dedicated players. The guide contains a poster of the map, a special message to the fans, a general weapons and equipment guide, and a 100% completion walkthrough including the different branching stories, along with detailed maps flagged with all locations, collectibles and targets.

Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey is an ambitious role-playing game that places choice at the center of the experience. The action takes place in Ancient Greece, a world rich with myths and legend, in fifth century BC during the Peloponnesian War between Sparta and Athens. Embodying Alexios or Kassandra, a mercenary of Spartan blood sentenced to death by their family, players will embark on an epic journey from a young outcast to a legendary hero and uncover the truth about their mysterious First Civilization lineage.

Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey will be released worldwide on October 5, 2018 for the PlayStation®4 Pro and Playstation®4 computer entertainment systems, the Xbox One family of devices, including Xbox One X, and Windows PC. Digital Gold and Digital Ultimate Editions owners will have access to the game three days early, starting October 2.

21st June, 2018 – Grab your backpack and headtorch, and prepare to set off on a charming puzzle-platforming adventure in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS family systems on 13th July. The game includes levels based on four of the Kingdoms from Super Mario Odyssey, with the newly released Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Overview Trailer offering a sneak peek at them. Players who can’t wait to meet the sometimes nervous but always courageous Captain Toad can now download a free demo version of the game – available for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS.

As a platforming game, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a little different from the rest. For starters, the Captain’s heavy backpack means jumping is not possible – so in order to guide him past the various enemies, traps and obstacles that stand between him and the precious Power Star in each course, players will need to take a different approach. Rather than rushing in head-first, it’s important to put some thought into plotting Captain Toad’s route, and even more important to use the adjustable camera to carefully observe the surroundings from all angles. Each level is a compact and lovingly-crafted diorama in its own right, designed using the same “miniature garden” concept – called “hakoniwa” in Japanese – that inspired much of the level design in Super Mario Odyssey. This means that lots of charming details, along with plenty of surprises and hidden collectibles, are packed in to what at first glance might seem like quite a small space.

With more than 70 levels to conquer, there’s plenty to keep even the most intrepid explorer occupied for a long while. As seen in the Overview Trailer, four of these are bonus levels based on Kingdoms featured in Super Mario Odyssey: Metro Kingdom, Sand Kingdom, Cascade Kingdom and Luncheon Kingdom. These bonus levels can be unlocked through regular gameplay, but they can be accessed straight away by scanning one of the Super Mario Odyssey amiibo figures: Mario (Wedding Outfit), Peach (Wedding Outfit) and Bowser (Wedding Outfit). Scanning the Toad amiibo figure will cause a powerful Invincibility Mushroom to appear, while scanning any other amiibo will provide the useful bonus of a 1-Up or two.

The Nintendo Switch version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is available now for digital pre-load via Nintendo eShop, priced at AU$59.95 / NZ$69.95. By purchasing the game now and pre-loading it to their Nintendo Switch consoles, keen players can be among the first to access the game when it is released at 00:00 local time on 13th July. It’s also worth remembering that digital purchases earn Gold Points worth 5% of the total amount paid, which can be spent on future purchases of Nintendo Switch games and downloadable content in Nintendo eShop.

Hit Mobile Game Receives Massive Update Today

LOS ANGELES – June 20, 2018 – For the first time ever, players can experience high-caliber first-person perspective gameplay in the palms of their hands in the biggest update yet for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBG MOBILE).

Available as of today, Tencent Games and PUBG Corporation are introducing an all-new first-person perspective variation to the Classic Mode of PUBG MOBILE allowing players to play PUBG MOBILE from an all-new perspective. The first-person perspective mode is just one part of a larger update for the game that also introduces weapon finishes, a Mini-Zone Arcade Mode and more.

In addition to the first-person perspective mode, PUBG MOBILE’s latest update adds several new in-game features that deliver new modes of gameplay and more ways to customize and communicate, including:

  • Arcade Mode: Mini-Zone – This all-new Arcade Mode drops 100 players into a smaller circle with triple the number of weapons. Players can expect matches to last 20 minutes.
  • Armory – Players can now check out weapon statistics and compare the performance data of weapon accessories.
  • Royale Pass – Players complete daily and weekly missions to earn points and increase their rank. Complete a certain number of missions every week for additional crates.
  • Airplane and Weapon Finishes – The player with the highest “Royale Pass” level can now choose the finish of the starting airplane. Besides, all-new weapon finishes are now available for players to unlock and customize on mobile.
  • Emotes PUBG MOBILE now has some new gestures and movements for players to clap, taunt and laugh at opponents.

PUBG MOBILE is available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play.

PUBG MOBILE is developed by Tencent Games and PUBG Corp. and based on PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the original PC and Xbox One gaming phenomenon that took the world of interactive entertainment by storm in 2017. Up to 100 players parachute onto a remote 8×8 km island to do battle in a winner-takes-all showdown. Players must locate and scavenge their own weapons, vehicles and supplies, and defeat every player in a visually and tactically rich battleground that forces players into a shrinking play zone.
