Helsinki, Finland – 15 January, 2026 – Lohkare Games Oy has revealed a major development milestone for Last Drop, its raw, darkly humorous open-world story game set in 1994 Finland. Nearly one year after the public demo release, the project has evolved dramatically in scale, ambition, and depth as the team prepares for its upcoming Early Access launch on Steam.

What began as a compact demo area of approximately 600 x 800 meters has now grown into a massive, cross-shaped open world measuring roughly 22 x 25 kilometers. Every location is inspired by real Finnish environments from the mid-1990s, from quiet suburbs and rural roads to lakes, small towns, and the city of Nykylä.

More than 100 kilometers of roads connect the world, shaped by Finland’s geography and dominated by water, forests, and long stretches of isolation. Seppo’s home suburb, Kuosilampi, features residential buildings that are fully explorable both inside and out, allowing players to experience environments with an unusually high level of authenticity and detail. The Nykylä city center alone spans around 500 x 1000 meters.

A Story About Survival, Not Power
Last Drop is not about becoming a hero. It is about surviving everyday life.

Inspired by real events and personal stories from 1990s Finland, the game focuses on ordinary people in difficult circumstances. Players drive, fight, drift between small-time jobs, hustle for money and form relationships with a cast of flawed, deeply human characters shaped by their time and place.  

This philosophy also defines how players navigate the world. There is no minimap. Instead, players rely on paper maps, memory, and observation, reinforcing immersion and recreating how people actually moved through the world in 1994. 

Community-Driven Growth
Since the demo launch, more than 6,000 players have explored Last Drop, providing extensive feedback that has actively shaped development. The game has also drawn strong attention from streamers, many of whom praised its authenticity, tone, and uncompromising portrayal of Finnish life in the 1990s.  

This momentum has resulted in more than 8,000 wishlists on Steam, with peak days exceeding 400 new additions.

Today, 2K announced two new editions of PGA TOUR® 2K25 available now on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, plus new bonus content coming soon, including the 2026 Major Championships, three new Seasons, and new Clubhouse Passes.*

The digital-only PGA TOUR 2K25 Legend Edition Year 2 and PGA TOUR 2K25 Pro Edition offer new, premium versions of the highest-rated golf simulation video game of the last decade on PlayStation, Xbox and PC**. PGA TOUR 2K25 Legend Edition Year 2 features the contents of the previously available PGA TOUR 2K25 Legend Edition, along with Member’s Pass Year 2, offering access to Clubhouse Pass Premium Seasons 6-8 and Clubhouse Pass Gear Pack Year 2, plus the all-new Pro Accelerator Pack, which replaces the previously-available Starter Pack and includes items intended to boost a new MyPLAYER’s stats, allowing them to compete at a high level quickly, as well as a limited-edition PING Iron and PUMA Footwear. About the Game

Air Hares is a retro-style top-down shooter where players seed and water carrot fields while dodging enemies across four stages, each featuring three farming levels and a boss encounter. Mastery of aerial maneuvers such as barrel rolls, parries, and loop-de-loops is essential as enemy patterns intensify and dynamic weather – including wind, rain, and lightning – adds additional challenge.

The game also features a co-op mode, allowing a second player to join as Dirk Doggo, Captain Rabbo’s loyal canine companion. Gather the courage to collect yourself before the foot of the dreaded Wendigo

NEW ZEALAND — Jan. 14, 2026 — Calling all supernatural stalkers! A demo for Folklore Hunter, the co-op urban legend hunting survival game developed by Liquid Donkey Games, emerges from the darkness today on PC via Steam at 12:00 PM PST ahead of the game’s 1.0 launch on Friday, Jan. 30, after its successful Early Access debut in 2020.

Experience the entirety of the Wendigo hunt, one of the three major story hunts of Folklore Hunter. Wander dark, decrepit woods home to a host of natural wildlife coexisting with the beastly Wendigo, inspired by North American Algonquian folklore. It lurks in a forest with strange caves, environmental puzzles, and a seemingly shifting landscape. Bullets alone won’t stop it. Search for the clues and conduct the ritual to seal it away.

Folklore Hunter will offer three story hunts in total. Along with the Wendigo, track down the vampiric Strigoi of Romanian legend through an uninhabited ghost village gone vacant from the creature’s macabre presence. The legendary Mothman lies in wait on a strange island, ready to meet the hunting party for the imminent 1.0 launch.

The full version features online co-op for all hunts and game modes, and enables hunters to customize a loadout of cameras, crucifixes, explosive canisters, and other unlockable equipment. Prepare for chaotic Contract Hunts where each outing offers randomized environments and puzzles, with full Steam Workshop support for mod-minded community members to share their own custom content.

Humanity has fallen. The dead rose, the world burned, and only the rotting husk of civilization remains. In HumanityZ’s 1.0 launch, return to a world that has become even more vicious, unpredictable, and alive with terror.
