Infiltrate the World of the Ultra-Wealthy in Better Than Us, the Next Game From the BAFTA-nominated Makers of Vampire Therapist

Steal from the mega-rich, give to yourself

Berlin, Germany — December 8, 2025 | Little Bat Games, the award-winning studio behind Vampire Therapist, is proud to announce Better Than Us, a social stealth narrative game that pits players against the world’s most nefarious people — those rich enough to make mere billionaires seem quaint.

Set in the year 2200, Better Than Us depicts a (not entirely absurd) future directly inspired by humanity’s past and present. The wealthiest people in centuries have created floating cities to insulate themselves from a worldwide climate apocalypse of their own creation, not to own mansions and sports cars, but to buy moral authority itself. And surprise, surprise: extreme wealth doesn’t afford anyone a greater sense of morality.

Watch the Better Than Us Announcement Trailer here:

They might have stolen our future, but in Better Than Us the spoils of past plundering and pillaging can be stolen from them. Players will take on the role of a master thief and manipulator (and her rodent pal), infiltrating exclusive parties thrown by the ultra-wealthy in their floating fortresses. Rather than stealth or violence, players will use charm and deception to develop key relationships with a cast of bizarre characters corrupted by their own wealth. They’ll need to remember which lies were told to which people, weaving an ever-growing web of deceit that even an all-powerful oligarchy will struggle to see through.

Better Than Us continues critical hit Vampire Therapist’s tradition of top-tier voice acting, with a cast led by Sarah Grayson (Hades 2, Gone Home) and Cyrus Nemati (Hades 2, Vampire Therapist). Developed in consultation with leading historians from Oxford University, UC Davis, and the University of Florida, the game promises to honestly depict the consequences of extreme wealth concentration in a tongue-in-cheek way.

“Looking to the past is a helpful way of examining modern issues. Not only is the historical record inspiring, but dead people are less able to sue small game studios,” said Cyrus Nemati, creative director at Little Bat Games.

Better Than Us is coming to PC and Mac in 2026. The game can be wishlisted on Steam. Vampire Therapist is discounted this week as part of Steam’s “Choices Matter” sale.

This is all underpinned by a dedication to sustainable studio practices.

Esports Manager 2026 Debuts First Demo During Steam Sports Fest

Featuring Real Teams, Real Players, and Real Esports Drama

KRAKOW, Poland – December 8, 2025 – Esports Manager 2026, the ultimate behind-the-scenes esports management sim developed by Neurona Games in partnership with indie.io, drops its first-ever demo as part of the Steam Sports Fest today, packed with real organizations, personalities, and the chaos of running a top-tier team.

Step into the office of a real-life esports manager and the high-pressure world behind a modern competitive gaming season. Manage real-life orgs like EternalFire, Copenhagen Wolves, M80, and GamerLegion, and interact with well-known community figures, including @neLendirekt, @BanKsEsports, @PiNGCasts, @teddcs_, @bit1, @TravCS, @Ne0Kai, @ale_apoka, and more.

The Esports Manager 2026 debut demo provides an authentic look into the esports scene, complete with egos, negotiation tactics, hype, and heartbreak. Players can explore approximately 70% of the game’s systems, navigating an entire in-game month of scouting, contract talks, roster shakeups, and team building as they shape their organization’s identity. Patch up a frustrated talent in one conversation, balance sponsor payments, and contemplate blowing the entire transfer budget on a superstar, all in one day’s work.

The semi-3D match engine brings tournament days to life with evolving tactical interactions, map picks, weapon choices, utility usage, and player form, letting every decision ripple across the server.

Take advantage of Esports Manager 2026’s interconnected systems to craft the most prestigious team possible. Craft long-term strategies with the Tactic Creator, build a brand from scratch, and manage the full financial ecosystem of an esports organization, from income and expenses to sponsorship deals that can save or sink the season. Early tournaments and qualifier rounds out the experience, testing whether players’ preparation, mindset, and roster decisions can survive real competitive pressure.

“Our goal is to capture what really happens behind the scenes in esports: the pressure, strategy, conversations, and the tough calls that define a season,” said Andril Chupyr, CEO at Neurona Games. “The demo gives players a genuine taste of that experience, and we can’t wait to see the organizations they build–or blow up.”

Esports Manager 2026’s demo is available now on PC via Steam. For more information, join the game’s official Discord server, and wishlist the game on Steam.

Kitten Space Agency Mission Reaches $100K USD in Two Weeks of Free Pre-Alpha Launch

Community support accelerates as RocketWerkz’s newest spaceflight project charts a new path for game developmentAUCKLAND, New Zealand – Dec. 8, 2025 – RocketWerkz, the independent studio behind ICARUS and Stationeers (together played by more than two million players), announced today that the free pre-alpha launch of Kitten Space Agency (KSA) has surpassed $100K USD in community contributions within just 14 days of release. The milestone signals strong early momentum for the project’s contribution-led development model and rising interest in the studio’s next major simulation title.

Kitten Space Agency is a spaceflight game that turns real aerospace concepts into something players can learn, test, and explore. Built in Auckland, New Zealand by RocketWerkz, the project aims to inspire future explorers while giving players deep control over engineering, mission planning, and flight execution.

KSA is powered by RocketWerkz’s new BRUTAL development framework, designed to enable moddability, high performance, and long-term scalability. Players can download and play the current pre-alpha for free through Ahwoo and directly contribute to the game’s development.

A Community-Driven Launch That’s Gaining Speed

Powered by a contribution-based model facilitated through Ahwoo, the KSA mission has quickly gathered a dedicated supporter base:

• 3,200 individual contributors with an average contribution of $31.25 USD
• 42,000 Discord members, a 20 percent increase (7,000) since launch
• More than 43,000 Ahwoo user accounts created since the pre-alpha announcement

The project is led by DayZ and ICARUS creator Dean Hall, joined by Felipe Falanghe (HarvestR), original creator of Kerbal Space Program, and Stefan Moluf, former SpaceX flight software engineer.

The mission also includes veteran contributors from the Kerbal Space Program community such as Blackrack, Linx, and Daishi. Jamie Leighton (JPLRepo) also joins the mission, having risen from a well-known community mod creator to a Lead Developer on Kerbal Space Program, bringing deep franchise experience to the project.

This combination of game industry veterans, aerospace professionals, and influential modders ensures the project stays grounded in technical credibility while remaining accessible and community-shaped.

A Transparent Model That Resonates

KSA represents a deliberate shift from traditional release cycles. Rather than gating content behind a purchase, RocketWerkz and Ahwoo are testing an open model where players can:

• Download and play the game for free in its current form
• Contribute directly to development
• Join the mission, help with testing, and influence long-term direction

The model is further reinforced by a rapid update cadence, often with daily builds, giving players immediate visibility into progress and improvements. The early response suggests strong alignment between this approach and the expectations of today’s simulation communities.

The support for Kitten Space Agency has been incredibly encouraging. We set out to try a more open way of building games and it’s clear people want to be part of that mission. Contributions through Ahwoo help us keep developing the project, but so does playing our other games like Stationeers or Icarus which help fund the work behind Kitten Space Agency. However people choose to support us, we’re grateful. It all helps us keep pushing this mission forward.

Dean Hall, CEO, RocketWerkz

Join The Mission

Aspiring space explorers can join the KSA community on Discord and take part in shaping the project as it grows.Kitten Space Agency’s live pre-alpha build is available for free on Ahwoo. Support the mission by joining the developers on DiscordReddit, and Ahwoo. Follow the team on XInstagramTikTokTwitch, and YouTube.

About Kitten Space Agency

Multiplayer bluffing game Cut That Wire receives massive free Space update available now on PC

Expansion adds a new Space map, more abilities for imposters to sabotage play, a chaotic “Old Maid” mode and more!

Bangkok, Thailand, December 8th, 2025 – Small independent developer Waka Studio has just launched a free Space themed update for their multiplayer bluffing and deception party game Cut That Wire, available on PC via Steam today. In space, no one can hear you scream, but betrayal and treachery echo loudly!

Cut That Wire’s latest update brings a variety of new features, including the all-new “Old Maid” mode, which brings the famous card game into the chaos! Players can now face off in the new Space Map, complete with an unlockable air-lock to eject suspects into the cosmos. Imposters gain even more disruptive power, including the ability to swap data with victims to confuse the party.

General updates and balancing changes include setting a minimum of 3 players per match, introducing a Quick Match option for more convenient games. The update also expands and rebalances prompt datasets with fresh questions, and allows dead players to see one safe wire. Additionally, users can now customize game rules, including adjusting the number of imposter abilities and custom bomb countdown timers.

In Cut That Wire, you’re strapped to a bomb in a room with three others where one is secretly the imposter. Every ally could save you or seal your fate. Victims must unmask the traitor, whilst the imposter bluffs, deceives and manipulates to survive. Each round cranks up the pressure with “Big Bluff” mini-games: free sketch from prompts in ‘Big Bluff Drawing’, recall details in ‘Big Bluff Picture’, or swap cards in ‘Big Bluff Deck’ – while the imposter scrambles to stay convincing with mismatched information.

When the mini-games end, the real danger begins. After each game, players vote on who must cut a wire, then that chosen player must flip a coin to decide if they are cutting their own or someone else’s wire. Only the Engineer, a victim with a unique power, knows the one safe choice, while the imposter pushes the group towards fatal mistakes. With the bomb’s timer always ticking, every word and every glance could mean survival… or detonation.

More action, more destruction, more depth, and more variety. Whether in RTS-style gameplay or close to the chaos on the battlefield, players can experience the thrill of tactical warfare as they command their forces and adapt to ever-changing circumstances. The game also answers the question you’ve never dared to ask: What happens when a WW2 tank encounters heavily armed dinosaurs?

About Noobz from Poland

Noobz from Poland SA is a Warsaw-based indie game studio founded in 2016 by Jarosław Kotowski, who serves as the company CEO, and Juliusz Kopczewski, who served as CTO while working on the studio’s first title. The company made its mark with the original Total Tank Simulator (2020), a WWII battle simulator that sold almost 350,000 copies and was praised by players worldwide. While the studio’s previous titles achieved commercial success, working with external publishers limited Noobz from Poland’s control over post-release development and community support. Total Tank Simulator 2 marks a new chapter for the studio, as it is the first game to be fully developed and self-published by Noobz from Poland, ensuring complete creative freedom and a commitment to supporting the game and its community for years to come.
