LOS ANGELES – 10 Dec 2025 – Netherworld Covenant, the roguelike with tactical, soulslike combat from developer MadGoat and publisher Infini Fun, claims new allies for its 1.0 launch today on PC via Steam.
Face decrepit foes in new ways with the 1.0 version, including four new weapon types and additional character classes. Overcome boss battles countless times in the Boss Rush Mode, along with shuffled maps and randomized encounters in the Chaos Mode. Other additions include new accessories, skins, and two story chapters with a full ending.
As a survivor of a cataclysmic disaster, bridge the mortal and nether realms with an ancient artifact known as the Nether Lantern. Cross dilapidated bridges and dimly-lit caverns to survive onslaughts of once-knoble knights, fallen lords, and decaying demons. Weave parries and dodges alongside offensive attacks throughout each encounter.
Summon trusty Soul Companions to aid in battles, including the Swordsman, Ranger, Guardian, and Rogue classes. Harness their power to phase through obstacles or evade fatal blows. Take a reprieve after each onslaught to replenish supplies, upgrade abilities, and form alliances before delving into battle against ferocious boss battles.
“Getting to expand Netherworld Covenant with new content for today’s 1.0 launch has been an incredible opportunity,” said Feng Hu, Artist at MadGoat. “We can’t wait to see newcomers enter the fray, along with longtime fans to experience all the latest additions.”
Founded in 2015, MadGoat is a Romanian indie developer with a knack for survival games. Their previous titles include the open-world survival title Northern Lights and the roguelite deck builder Lucky Mayor. The team is currently hard at work on the soulslike, roguelike hybrid Netherworld Covenant.

A Cruel and Sadistic New Enemy Allied With The RDA Emerges, As So’lek’s Greatest Fight For His Loved Ones Begins.
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — 10 December 2025 — Today, Ubisoft unveiled the official launch trailer for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora™ – From the Ashes, spotlighting the expansion’s formidable antagonists and their motivations. Available on 19 December on Ubisoft+, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna*, and PC via Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam, the From the Ashes expansion presents players with a much more hostile Western Frontier and Ravaged Kinglor Forest.
Developed by Massive Entertainment – a Ubisoft Studio** in collaboration with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney, the expansion will have players facing a fearsome warband of Mangkwan raiders, also known as the Ash Clan, whose defiance of Eywa and commitment to wiping out the Resistance plays a central role in shaping the narrative and driving the key conflicts in the Western Frontier. The trailer showcases the Ash Clan’s striking visual identity: scarification, piercings, and bold bands of red and black paint, the essence of their scorched homeland. This stark aesthetic signals a radical departure from the clan’s players have encountered before, underscoring the expansion’s darker tone.
So’lek’s history with the Ash Clan runs deep. Years ago, he clashed with Wukula, a Mangkwan warrior, in a brutal encounter that left him scarred and vengeful, setting the stage for their unfinished battle in From the Ashes. Alongside Wukula stands Zari, a deadly sniper trained by the RDA, blind in one eye yet lethal with her human rifle and RDA gear. Her rivalry with Wukula adds layers of intrigue to the expansion’s story. The trailer also showcases Rakx, the most sadistic Mangkwan raider, who cruelly utilises ikrans in her violence.
“For the first time, players will experience Na’vi versus Na’vi combat in dramatic boss encounters,” said Omar Bouali, Creative Director at Massive Entertainment. “These battles against Mangkwan raiders deliver on one of our community’s biggest requests: more variety and intensity in combat.”
The trailer also teases new RDA innovations, including hellhounds; canine robots first introduced in Avatar: The High Ground™ graphic novel, alongside Skel suits and AMP suit variants equipped for sniper and shotgun warfare. These additions amplify the danger across Pandora’s skies and forests, creating a world more hostile than ever before.
Fans will also glimpse Major Tyler Bukowski, an officer first introduced in the comic series Avatar: The Gap Year — Tipping Point™. Bukowski’s deep knowledge of Na’vi culture and ruthless tactics make him a compelling new figure of power, leading the RDA-Ash Clan offensive into the Western Frontier to hunt down the Resistance and its Sarentu allies with particular attention paid to So’lek.
From the Ashes expands the saga with returning allies, building upon clans’ backstories like the Wind Traders, and emotional story beats that deepen So’lek’s journey of survival and vengeance. The expansion is available as a standalone purchase or as part of the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora: From the Ashes Edition, which includes the main game, the expansion and the Floating Mountains bonus content.
Players can already enjoy a major free Title Update for the main game of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, which launched on 5 December. This update introduces two of the most requested features from the community: New Game+ and a long-awaited third-person view, offering a fresh perspective and replayability of the main game for fans eager to experience Pandora in new ways.

Stress-test your friendships with elemental powers!
[Brazil] – December 9, 2025 – Mayor Games, in partnership with indie.io, are proud to announce that Elemental Brawl will release on Steam on January 13. Looking for the best kind of friendship-ruining party game? Elemental Brawlcombines fast-paced platforming, element absorption, and cartoon violence into a game that will leave no friend unscathed and no relationship untested – in the best possible way!
Elemental Brawl is all about coming together, then beating each other’s cute characters up. Floating platforms offer countless options to harness the elemental mechanics at the heart of the game for the players’ benefit. Found some water? Turn the slope slipper to ensure buddies slip and tumble off the platforms. Oh, there’s some fire over there? Scalding steam coming through! Or maybe it’s the earth element? Absolutely lavalicious!
With six elements that can spawn across the maps and more planned down the line, Elemental Brawl offers countless opportunities to combine and experiment with them: Steam doesn’t merely damage other players, but also pushes them and objects around the map. Water and earth produce mud, potentially trapping other players or putting them in other sticky situations, just as a giant ball of fire tumbles their way. The players’ ingenuity and creativity are the only limit, ensuring that every player has a fair chance of winning.
However, victory doesn’t simply go to those who punch the hardest: Every round is scored and may randomly turn from an all-out brawl into a minigame, where the winner is decided not by violence, but by completing the objectives. These may include hunting down totem pieces, protecting a payload, or racing against the clock and each other to destroy statues of the opposing elements…
Additional friendship-buckling potential comes from the method of scoring and team selection: Whenever a team-based minigame is rolled, players are assigned to teams at random, meaning players who just shot each other off the map using steam-propelled giant balls of mud will find themselves on the same side, fighting for the same points they were competing for just moments ago!
“Matches consisting of multiple game modes are a great way to level the playfield and help players of different skillsets to have their time to shine,” remarked Nicholas de Lucca, co-founder and creative director of Mayor Games. “That way, the chaotic fun can be shared by players of all ages and all skill levels, creating the best way to ruin friendships.” After all, who doesn’t like to set their friends on fire or turn them into ice cubes?
Elemental Brawl will put relationships to the test on January 13, on Steam.
