Traffic-Weaving Motorcycle Sim LANESPLIT Revs Up for Jan 28. Launch on PC

CANADA — Dec. 15, 2025 — LANESPLIT, the traffic-weaving motorcycle racing simulator developed by solo developer FunkyMouse, accelerates towards launch on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, on PC via Steam, before arriving on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later down the road.

Throw caution to the wind and blaze between traffic in a white-knuckle race across the asphalt. Anticipate every turn across multiple looping locales. Bullet past pedestrian traffic through downtown highways, twisting mountain turnpikes, and ocean-front roads around the world.

An all gas, no brakes approach can lead to victory, but the difference between finishing in first and a fatal crash is mere inches apart. Reach flow state as surroundings become a blur at breakneck speeds. Flirt with death while zooming between traffic consisting of 18-wheelers, lane-switching sedans, and other vehicles obeying traffic laws.

Mind the weather before selecting from fifteen distinct sportbikes with physics-accurate attributes. Conquer dry pavement with maximum top speed and nimble steering, and focus on traction and stopping power to ensure survival on slippery roads soaked with rain. Maneuver through mazes of traffic during Rush Hour mode, or cruise empty highways in Zen mode.

Maximize aura with customizable clothing and helmet options. Feel the intensity of breaking land speed records as a drum and bass-fuelled soundtrack rises in volume alongside the speedometer and comes to a screeching halt with every crash.

LANESPLIT was built around the concept of making sure that players can feel a true sense of speed,” said Shakya, Founder and solo developer at FunkyMouse. “Going fast is so rarely communicated well in games. Physics, motion blur, tight controls, sound design, and music all come together for a multi-sensory experience where players become one with the road.”

LANESPLIT breaks beats and speed limits when it launches on PC via Steam Wednesday, January 28, 2026, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions in development. For more information, follow developer FunkyMouse on Twitter/X and check out the official YouTube page.

UBISOFT ACCELERATES IN FAST GROWING MOBA MARKET BY ACQUIRING “MARCH OF GIANTS” GAME FROM AMAZON

Game Praised in Successful Closed Alpha Playtesting, Next Major Update Arrives in 2026 Seasoned Experts Developing March of Giants Are Joining Ubisoft, Will Become Part of Future Creative House

Sydney, Australia – December 16, 2025 – Today, Ubisoft announced that it is acquiring the rights to March of Giants from Amazon. The talented, Montreal-based team behind the innovative multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) project will join Ubisoft, and, following the game’s successful closed alpha, is currently preparing the next large-scale update, which will introduce new giants, expanded competitive modes, and foundational systems designed to support long-term growth. As part of the agreement, Amazon also will provide Ubisoft with marketing support for March of Giants on Twitch.

March of Giants is an ambitious new entrant in the global MOBA landscape blending lane-based combat, battlefield mastery and hero coordination. Since its first reveal, the game has attracted strong enthusiasm from early players and creators, who have praised its fresh art direction, tactical depth, and focus on meaningful team play.

The worldwide MOBA category remains one of the largest and most engaged segments in gaming, representing hundreds of millions of active players and a significant opportunity for titles that can build loyal, competitive communities. Industry analysts expect the global MOBA games market to continue growing year over year for the rest of the decade, with total revenues roughly doubling by 2030. Ubisoftsees March of Giants as an innovative and differentiated project with the potential to offer something new to current MOBA fans, attract new audiences, and grow into a successful live competitive game. 98% of closed alpha participants surveyed said March of Giants brings something new to the genre.

March of Giants is led by an experienced team, including Xavier Marquis, Creative Director, and Alexandre Parizeau, Senior Production Leader. Both are veteran developers with past ties to Ubisoft. Xavier is best known as the original Creative Director of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, while Alexandre previously served as Managing Director of Ubisoft Toronto, where he oversaw major AAA productions. Their return and the addition of the March of Giants team bring proven expertise in building globally successful competitive and live games to Ubisoft.

“March of Giants has a real opportunity to bring something fresh and dynamic to players, and to help Ubisoft compete in one of gaming’s biggest arenas,” said Yves Guillemot, Co-Founder and CEO, Ubisoft. “We’re looking forward to welcoming back Alexandre, Xavier, and many of the seasoned March of Giants team who have previously worked at Ubisoft, and the entire team’s ambition, creativity and talent align perfectly with our desire to build bold new experiences for players. We look forward to supporting them as they shape the future of this promising new IP.”

“Returning to Ubisoft brings things full circle,” said Xavier Marquis, Creative Director. “We built some of our most meaningful work here, and we’re excited to continue developing March of Giants from within Ubisoft. This game has enormous potential, and I know Ubisoft can help us take it to the next level.”

Alexandre Parizeau added, “My thanks go to Amazon for their commitment during the first chapters of March of Giants. Our closed alpha was an important milestone and showed a glimpse of the game’s real promise. Now, by joining Ubisoft, we’re uniting behind a shared vision to build March of Giants into one of the next great, enduring MOBAs.”

“We’re proud of what our team in Montreal has built with March of Giants,” said Steve Boom, VP of Audio, Twitch and Games at Amazon. “We’re confident that under Ubisoft’s leadership, the talented developers in Montreal will continue to thrive and create amazing game experiences.”

The deal is expected to close by December 16. Terms are not being disclosed.

SURVIVE A WORLD TWISTED BY DECAY IN ‘FELLHOLLOW’, THE FIRST MAJOR FREE UPDATE FOR RUNESCAPE: DRAGONWILDS, AVAILABLE TODAY

Discover an all-new region, farming, mounts, enemies, quests and expanded survival mechanics in a huge update for the hit survival adventure today

Cambridge, UK – December 15th, 2025 – Step into a decaying world and discover an entirely new region to survive in ‘Fellhollow’, the first major update for the hit survival adventure RuneScape: Dragonwilds, available to download today.

Introducing new quests, enemies, a huge new boss encounter, and a hauntingly beautiful realm balanced between life and death, Fellhollow is a major free content update that expands the world of RuneScape: Dragonwilds like never before.

Guided by Death, who arrives in Fellhollow as a new questgiver and guide, venture into a surreal new region adorned with mist-laden valleys, dead forests, withered flora and haunted ruins. Overrun with corruption and decay from the Wither Rot, Fellhollow forces players to adapt the way they play with new rot-afflicted enemies, environmental hazards, and the risk – or opportunity – of being blighted with a signature new status effect: Soul Rift.

As exposure to Wither Rot builds, Soul Rift transforms exploration, combat and survival. Craft armour types and fend off the rot with new consumables from Fellhollow’s new materials and expanded progression layers. Or delicately (and dangerously) balance your exposure to access two powerful effects: Rift Sight, a rewarding gaze that reveals hidden paths, spectral doors, and secrets hidden from the living; and Imaru’s Gaze, a deathly stare that lures the attention of the region’s new apex predator: Imaru, The Soul Eater.

Once a guardian dragon of Fellhollow, Imaru has been twisted by grief into a soul-devouring horror. As Death seeks a hero to break her curse, discover the continuation of the Kuldra Saga storyline in an epic new multi-phase boss encounter against this corrupted guardian dragon.

Also arriving with today’s expansion into Fellhollow, the Farming Skill makes its debut in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Built from RuneScape’s iconic farming DNA, RuneScape: Dragonwilds’ Farming Skill has been reimagined with a magical new twist, putting sorcery and fun at the forefront of survival from the start of the game. The introduction of mounts also lets players explore the world of RuneScape: Dragonwilds in style, starting with the Terrorbird mount available to unlock today via a special Fellhollow questline.

With additional regional expansions and updates planned to arrive next year, Fellhollow marks the beginning of major new content set to release for RuneScape: Dragonwilds throughout 2026. For the full content roadmap, visit the RuneScape: Dragonwilds website.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds is available now on Steam Early Access for £24.99 GBP / $29.99 USD / €29.99 EUR.

WESTLANDERS UNVEILED IN FIRST GAMEPLAY TRAILER FROM THE BREACH STUDIOS & PARTNER RADICAL THEORY

PARIS Dec. 15, 2025 – Independent video game publisher Radical Theory (Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game) is proud to announce its partnership with the talented Spanish developer The Breach Studios to fuel the development of Westlanders, an ambitious open-world survival, crafting, building, and management game, coming soon to consoles and PC with both solo and co-op modes. The studios aim to leverage a Kickstarter campaign and early access period to maintain constant engagement with the player community.

Get a first glimpse of the action in the new Westlanders Reveal Trailer!

Westlanders immerses players in the hostile lands of a Wild West inspired by 19th-century North America. In this unique setting, players must not only survive the ruthless elements of the West, but also master technologies to build villages, establish trade routes, and utilize resources to tame these lands and the dangers lurking within.

A Collaborative Roadmap

To bring the ambitious vision of Westlanders to life, Westlanders will roll out with a three-phase launch strategy, putting players at the heart of the creative process:

  • Kickstarter Campaign (Early 2026): Launch of a crowdfunding campaign to unite the community.
  • Early Access: A development period spanning several months where early adopters will be able to play and provide feedback along with Kickstarter backers.
  • Full Release (v1.0): Global launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Building the game in close collaboration with players was an obvious move for the team. The goal is not solely financial –  the early access version is already funded – but mostly community-driven: building Westlanders in direct collaboration with its audience.

Commenting on this approach, Ferran Punti, CEO of The Breach Studios, stated: “We want to create a game that evolves thanks to those who play it. Kickstarter and early access will allow us to work hand in hand with motivated, invested, and passionate players. We will carefully listen to this community, which shares our love of rich and satisfying game mechanics, to tune and perfect the experience before the console release. That is why choosing to work with Radical Theory as a strategic partner felt natural, as they understand and support studios through their experience, deep expertise, and genuine transparency.”

Luc Heninger, CEO of Radical Theory, added: “It is a real pleasure to collaborate with the team at The Breach Studios – developers who are as passionate as they are friendly and talented. Westlanders won us over in the first few minutes of gameplay, as the Western setting is still rarely explored in the survival-crafting genre. We have a true sandbox experience here that will allow players from all backgrounds to experiment with rich, deep mechanics. The idea is to have a blast with friends, as we want players to dive into building, fighting, and resource management in co-op as quickly as possible.”

Westlanders can be wishlisted now on Steam. Players can also sign up to be notified when the game’s Kickstarter campaign goes live in the future.

Dallas, Texas, December 15, 2025 | Barbaric Games is excited to announce that their debut title, Bearly Brave, is out now on Steam! Step through the doors of this deceptively charming toy shop, where the teddies on the shelves share a dark secret; they’ve been fighting for their lives each night.

Now it’s your turn to help one of them escape; choose from a selection of 110 different weapon and utility cards, then take on the bosses in the ultimate plushie arena. If you play your hand right, you’ll dish out devastating combos that crumble your foes and ensure you don’t wind up as spare fluff swept under the rug.

Earn Your Spot On The Shelves

Welcome to Bearly Brave, a roguelike deckbuilder where the plushies are anything but cute and cuddly. Play as Toby, a timid bear with big dreams and even bigger fears, as he fights through a ruthless tournament in a toy store filled with twisted, unhinged competitors, all determined to take his spot on the shelves.

With hand-drawn 2D art at its core, and inspired by genre favorites like Balatro and Slay the Spire, Bearly Brave puts a fresh spin on deckbuilding with high-stakes one-turn combos, collectible patches, and tactical strategy. Begin with a starter deck of 10 cards and carefully create deadly combinations that’ll unlock powerful synergies and deal amplified damage. Featuring fast runs, permanent death, and different opponents each time you step into the ring, Bearly Brave offers high replayability for everyone.

Master the Combo System & Adapt to Ruthless Enemies

With each round you’ll be allowed only one combo, so pay close attention to card energy costs and be mindful of your total energy limit. Build powerful synergies by playing weapon and skill cards together. Match Brands to trigger bonus effects like extra damage, energy, defense, or buttons. Position matters; reorder your cards to maximize their impact, balance their effects, and discard wisely to find that one missing piece. Every turn is a puzzle with explosive potential.

Each boss in Bearly Brave comes with unique mechanics that force you to rethink your strategy. Whether that’s adding negative cards to your deck, amplifying their own attacks, or disrupting your build in unexpected ways, no two fights feel the same. Stay alert, adjust your build, and fight back with style.

Endless Combos. Absurd Damage. Total Chaos.

With hundreds of synergies and card modifiers to discover, no two trips through the toy shop are ever the same. Parking Garage Rally Circuit DX Revealed For PC And Consoles

European multistorey carparks double the size of cult indie hit in expanded version available today on Wavedash and hitting other platforms in 2026

Los Angeles, CA – December 15th, 2025 – Solo-developer Walaber has today unveiled an expanded version of their retro-inspired arcade rally racer, Parking Garage Rally Circuit. Available on Wavedash today and coming to Steam and consoles in 2026, Parking Garage Rally Circuit DX doubles the content of the original release with the addition of the new European Tour, adding 8 multistorey car parks to drift through on top of the original 8 American parking garages to make a total of 16 tracks.

Visit multistory car parks in Paris (Art Car Park), York (York Castle Car Park), Turin (Car Factory), Montpellier (Double Loop), Hamburg (Concert Hall), Copenhagen (Power Plant), Geneva (Parking Tour) and Naples (Cave Park) as you drift and boost your way to victory in the single-player mode, or against other players online. These locations are all inspired by real multistorey carparks, though the odd underwater tunnel or falling stalactites may suggest a touch of artistic liberty. Do it all to a full new soundtrack from The Holophonics, the band behind the catchy tunes that graced the original game.

Designed to look, feel and sound like a lost Sega Saturn game that could have been released in 1998, Parking Garage Rally Circuit DX delivers delightfully fun racing that’s easy to pick up and play with its chainable Mario Kart-style boosts, but requires skill to master as you unlock new car classes and compete to top the leaderboards. Head online to create and join lobbies of up to 8 players and race on any track, with any car class, gaining points after each race. The game also features an arcade-style ‘Endurance’ mode where you keep doing laps until you run out of time and cheat codes to discover that unlock fun modifiers, as well as special cars and tracks.

Parking Garage Rally Circuit DX is available now Wavedash for $14.99. Wavedash is a first of its kind marketplace bringing console-quality games to the open web. Gameplay launches directly in the browser within seconds—no client download, no special hardware required—and a shared link becomes a lobby so friends can join a race instantly. Unlike cloud streaming, Wavedash runs natively in your browser, tapping into the full power of your machine and modern web technologies to deliver responsive input and smooth frame rates.

“What started as the idea of delivering a little more content for Parking Garage Rally Circuit has expanded into what is effectively a whole new game that doubles the size of the original,” said developer Tim  ‘Walaber’ Fitzrandolph. “I’m really excited that Parking Garage Rally Circuit DX is part of the launch of a new platform in Wavedash that reduces friction and complexity for players to discover and play games like mine. I look forward to coming back next year with more news on bringing DX and the European Tour to Steam and console players.”
