New EvoGround mode, winter-themed content and more drop in to PUBG MOBILE on iOS and Android

LOS ANGELES – Dec. 11, 2019 –PUBG MOBILE released the version 0.16.0 content update with full of new game modes, maps, gear, abilities and collaboration content with Angry Birds, an entertainment brand celebrating its 10th birthday today (11th December). Players can skydive into the latest update for free on the App Store and Google Play.

The version 0.16.0 content update announcement arrives after PUBG MOBILE earned the 2019 Google Play “Users Choice” and “Best Competitive”, also the AppStore “Top Games of 2019”. PUBG MOBILE has now won the best game of the year for two consecutive years. The update is also announced with the new game icon presenting the new logo of Tencent Games, which represents the spirit of “Spark More”.

New features for PUBG MOBILE’s available beginning today include:

  • RageGear Mode – In this all-new EvoGround mode, players are divided into two factions and are assigned to be either the driver or shooter of a vehicle. Each vehicle is mounted with a powerful weapon including the Gatling, Shotgun, or RPG. The shooter fight with special weapons which are the Gatling, RPG, Grenade Launcher and the M249.
    • RageGear TDM: Players must destroy enemy vehicles to earn points, with the team reaching the score limit first taking home the chicken dinner
    • RageGear PickUp: Players must collect a certain number of Point Crates first to win, but will lose all Crates if their vehicle is destroyed
  • Snow Paradise – When queueing for Erangel in Classic mode, players have a chance to enter Snow Paradise, where the Spawn Island is covered in white frost. Players also have the chance to ride cable car lifts and snowboards once they drop into the map.
  • Healing Mobility – Players can now use health kits, boost items and adrenaline syringes while moving, with movement speed greatly reduced. Bandages are also now automatically used in succession
  • Loadouts – A new loadout screen has been added to Team Death Match Mode for players to edit and customize their starting weapons. Every firearm can be unlocked at a different Evo Level, and all offer mastery levels for additional attachments
  • Perspectives Button – While in Third Person Perspective (TPP), players can now toggle in and out of First Person Perspective(FPP) with a new button in Classic, Arcade and Training Grounds modes
  • New Sliding Mechanic – Players can now choose to enable or disable character sliding in Team Death Match mode
  • Firearm Balances – In Classic mode, multiple weapons have been adjusted to develop more balanced gameplay, including:
    • Bolt-Action Rifles: Damage to torso increased by 30%
    • AWM: Bullet damage reduced from 132 to 120
    • Crossbow: Damage to torso and limbs increased 40% and 20%, respectively
    • S12K: Bullet damage increased from 22 to 24
    • Sawed-off: Bullet damage increased from 20 to 22
    • S686/S1897: Bullet damage increased from 24 to 26
    • Shotguns: Maximum bullet distance reduced from 1,000 to 150 meters
    • Duckbill: Increased vertical bullet spread and reduced horizontal spread
  • Collaboration content with Angry Birds – Ten years since the birth of the Angry Birds brand, players have the chance to unlock crossover items and enjoy a mini-game in Spawn Island throwing Angry Birds bombs. Rewards can be won by completing missions in the Angry Birds Adventure event.
  • Additional Features – Several new miscellaneous features have been added, including performance balances, a spectator tier limit, backpack ornaments and the ability to report friendly-fire kills in-game.

The goal was to pop ten billion pigs, and at the conclusion of the event, a donation of $100k would be made to UNICEF’s Education in Emergencies fund, which supports education for children in conflict zones and other emergencies across the globe. New Video Shows off Cyberpunk 2077’s Star Studded Soundtrack

CD Projekt Red released a brand new video taking a deep dive into Cyberpunk 2077’s soundtrack. The video features artists like Run the Jewels and Nina Kraviz talking about their performances and how it fits into the game’s rough world. The soundtrack mixes a variety of genres, from hard rap to traditional video game scores from some of the biggest names in music. Particularly special is Refused’s performance as the band Samurai, a chrome rock band that has long been part of the Cyberpunk lore.

Additionally, Grimes appeared at The Game Awards 2019 as a representative of the Cyberpunk 2077 team to perform her song “4ÆM.” The performance features some impressive production values rivallng some of the major performances at the Grammy Awards and MTV’s VMAs. The electronic pop song was made specifically for Cyberpunk 2077. Grimes will also provide the voice for the character Lizzy Wizzy.

Cyberpunk 2077 launches on 16 April 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows. A Google Stadia version is coming some time after the other three platforms.

The Passage brings an all new dimension to the world of Anno 1800, inviting players to conquer the Arctic season. SYDNEY – Dec. 11, 2019 – Today on PlayStation’s State of Play broadcast, Capcom celebrated the 20th anniversary of the survival horror classic Resident Evil™ 3: Nemesis by unveiling a completely reimagined Resident Evil™ 3. On the heels of the award-winning Resident Evil™ 2, this highly demanded follow-up in the 94 million unit selling franchise once again utilizes Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine to complete the Raccoon City story arc. Resident Evil 3 stars Jill Valentine – one of video games’ most iconic heroines – as she escapes from a crumbling Raccoon City while being pursued by the unrelenting bioweapon Nemesis. Players can also participate in previously untold Umbrella experiments on the outskirts of Raccoon City in the included online asymmetrical multiplayer game Resident Evil™ Resistance, previously known as the working title Project Resistance. Resident Evil 3 will be available on PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X and Steam on April 3, 2020.  

Resident Evil 3 is set amidst the nightmarish outbreak of the T-virus, a biological weapon developed by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella Corporation. The game marks the debut of Nemesis – a towering humanoid bioweapon designed for both brutality and high-functioning intelligence – whose dogged hunt of S.T.A.R.S. member Jill Valentine made him an icon of the Resident Evil™ series. Armed with an arsenal of high-powered weaponry and wrapped in a black suit to hide his mutilated features, Nemesis will maim, pulverize or destroy any obstacle on the path to his target.

Jill’s harrowing escape takes place in the panic-stricken hours leading up to and following the events of the acclaimed best-selling Resident Evil 2. Intense combat and puzzle solving combine to deliver the heart-pounding final chapter of Raccoon City’s collapse. The horrific settings from the original game and new content come to life as never before with RE Engine, previously utilized to create the acclaimed Resident Evil™ 7 biohazard, Resident Evil 2 and Devil May Cry™ 5 with high-definition graphics and modernized gameplay mechanics.

Complementing the action-packed single player campaign is Resident Evil Resistance, an asymmetrical 4 vs. 1 multiplayer game originally unveiled as a working title at Tokyo Game Show earlier this year. As the Mastermind behind the scenes, players can assume the role of key Resident Evil characters like Annette Birkin in a series of deadly experiments. Manipulate the environment and wield a deck of cards to place vicious creatures, set traps and weaponized security cameras to snare hapless Survivors. A first for the franchise, Masterminds can even directly control elite bioweapons like G-Birkin and Tyrant. In turn, four Survivors must effectively work together, making the most of a variety of weapons and each player’s unique special abilities, to stand a chance of escaping the experiment before time runs out.

SYDNEY, 11th December 2019Square Enix Ltd., invites Keyblade wielders dive back into the journey with Sora and friends in the KINGDOM HEARTSIII Re Mind DLC, coming to the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system on 23rd January 2020 and Xbox One family of devices on 25th February 2020. 

For players who have completed KINGDOM HEARTS III, the Re Mind DLC provides a new playable episode as Sora adventures to make his way back to his friends and discovers truths that he has never before imagined. The new Re Mind trailer gives players a first look at the FINAL FANTASY® characters set to appear in the DLC, showcasing a glimpse of fan favourite Aerith from FINAL FANTASY VII.

In Re Mind, players will be able to take on multiple boss battles, a Limitcut and Secret Episode, a new greeting mode, slideshow features and a new “Premium Menu” mode that includes diverse difficulty settings and gameplay challenges.

Additionally, a free patch update (Version 1.07) is set to be released in January for all KINGDOM HEARTS III players which includes a main story update, new abilities and a new form for Sora along with the addition of Keyblades, “Oathkeeper” and “Oblivion”. Players will also be able to utilise expanded sharing features from January.

KINGDOM HEARTS III is available for the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X and PlayStation®4 system now. The Re Mind DLC will be available for the PlayStation®4 system on 23 January 2020, and on the Xbox one Family of Devices on 25th February 2020.

Riverbond’s enchanting adventures and cute characters—including indie crossover skins like Shovel Knight, Raz Aquato from Psychonauts, The Kid from Bastion, Spelunky Guy, and more—belie tightly focused combat with lightning speed. Venture into the nooks and crannies of each level in search of loot, complete mission objectives and slice through mobs of enemies to level the field in fearsome boss fights.

Team up with up to four players on the couch to bash some baddies or, on Steam, tap into Steam Remote Play Together to unite friends from afar to play co-operatively online. With a responsive hack and slash controls and retro action that pays homage to top-down adventures of yesteryear, Riverbond breathes new life with vibrant voxels and classic drop-in, drop-out co-op.

PARIS (Dec. 10, 2019) – Publisher and co-developer Dotemu (publisher of Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap, Windjammers 1, developer of Windjammers 2) together with co-developers Lizardcube (developer of Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap) and Guard Crush Games (developer of Streets of Fury) is proud to announce the return of the fan-favorite brawler Adam Hunter as a playable fighter in Streets of Rage 4. The news was revealed during today’s Nintendo Indie World Showcase ahead of the long-awaited revival of SEGA’s genre-defining beat ‘em up reaching PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.

An accompanying trailer showcases Adam’s dapper re-design and return to action, after the player unlock him during the story mode. New gameplay demonstrates his versatile screen-clearing combos as well as his special moves and dash ability, each unique to him from the rest of the game’s roster.
