Experience new stories and challenges in the survival adventure game’s next chapter on PC, coming soon to PlayStation®4 and Xbox One

STOCKHOLM — June 16, 2020 — Systemic Reaction, a creative division of Avalanche Studios Group, has announced that FNIX Rising, the second expansion for the atmospheric first-person guerilla action game Generation Zero, will be available for $7.99 on June 23 for PC via Steam, with PlayStation®4 and Xbox One versions arriving later this summer.

FNIX Rising expands the narrative of Generation Zero while revamping the game world and introducing a number of new features and content. Six weeks have passed since the events of Alpine Unrest, and now players will have to grapple with the new landscape and strange structures the machines have built for unknown reasons. FNIX Rising includes 10 main missions with new NPCs, 10 additional side missions, and a new Harvester class. There’s also a new challenge tree, melee weapons, collectibles, and outfits.

“Over the past year and a half, we’ve consistently focused on community feedback and enhancing the experience for players across all platforms. With FNIX Rising, we’ve enriched the world of Generation Zero even further. We believe players will enjoy making new discoveries and going head-to-head with these exciting challenges,” said Paul Keslin, Product Owner at Systemic Reaction.

The FNIX Rising update also features free content for all players, including world revamps to the South Coast and Farmland regions, four new apparel crafting levels, two melee weapons, and an additional challenge tree. The Generation Zero team has consistently added new improvements and fixes based on player feedback since the game’s release in 2019, which continues with this latest expansion.

Set in 1980s Sweden, Generation Zero opens with a mystery: the population has gone missing and hostile machines now roam the landscape! Explore a huge open world, scavenge for gear, and take on challenging missions to unravel what’s happened. Combine weapons, skills, and equipment against enemies on your own or with up to three friends in co-op to strike back against the machines.

FNIX Rising is available to wishlist now on Steam. For more information, visit https://generationzero.com.

Disintegration is Now Available on PC, PlayStation®4, and Xbox One

Brand new, genre-breaking, sci-fi first-person shooter from the studio founded by Marcus Lehto, the co-creator of Halo

Sydney, Australia – June 16, 2020 – Private Division and V1 Interactive are proud to announce that Disintegration, the first title from the independent studio founded by Marcus Lehto, the co-creator of Halo, is now available digitally for $79.95 on PC, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®4 Pro, and across the Xbox One family of devices, including Xbox One X. Disintegration brings new depth to the FPS genre by adding real time strategy elements over a riveting single-player campaign. The game also features an array of options in multiplayer with the ability to select from nine unique “Crews” to pilot over three frenetic game modes.

Disintegration delivers an entirely new type of gameplay experience by blending real-time tactical elements in a first-person shooter. Set in a world on the brink of disaster, humanity turns to a process known as Integration, in which a human brain is transferred to a robotic armature to survive. A ruthless legion known as the Rayonne emerges and imposes the once optional process of Integration onto the rest of humanity to consolidate their power.

In the single-player campaign, immerse yourself in the story of the outlaw leader, Romer Shoal. Romer narrowly escapes the clutches of the cunning and maniacal Black Shuck, who leads a massive Rayonne faction over what was once North America. Shuck’s ominous, autonomous army scour the continent, hunting and eliminating any remaining traces of humankind. It is up to Romer and his crew to carefully execute intense, guerilla style attacks with the hopes of rescuing and saving the few remaining asylum seekers.

“Disintegration will challenge your perception of first-person shooters,” said Marcus Lehto, President and Game Director at V1 Interactive. “It took time to blend just the right parts of the FPS and RTS genres and come up with something nobody has ever played before. Over the course of the single player campaign, you will learn and eventually master the skills to become a tactical commander and fighter pilot from the seat of your Gravcycle.”

Disintegration also includes three multiplayer modes with six distinct maps, and additional content to come in future updates. Choose from nine “Crews” which provide a multitude of different play styles. Suit up with the noble King’s Guard and strike down your enemies with blasts from your javelin launcher. Save your teammates from imminent death with a well-placed healing shot from the Tech Noir. Or pin down your opponents with a torrent of mines by the Militia. The choice is in your hands how you approach the battlespace and which Crew you control.

“Disintegration brings an edge-of-your-seat campaign with diverse characters navigating a tumultuous world,” said Allen Murray, Head of Production at Private Division. “For their first title, V1 has shown a deep level of talent and ambition from the studio of thirty developers, delivering an excellent debut that is rewarding and memorable.”

Multiplayer provides a host of cosmetic customizations that can be purchased or earned in-game, including pilot and Crew skins, cosmetic Gravcycle customizations, and a variety of banners. In addition to the multiplayer content at release, the team at V1 will be supporting the game post-launch. All new game modes, new maps, and new Crews will be free.

Disintegration is available now digitally for PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and PC on Steam and other digital storefronts for $79.95. Disintegration is rated M for Mature Audiences by the Australian Classification Board. REDNECK ED and FOR THE PEOPLE demos available in Steam Game Festival June 16th-22nd

Moscow, Russia – June 16th, 2020 – 101XP has released demos for two of its upcoming games as part of Steam Game Festival. Available from June 16th-22nd, these demos will give players a chance to go hands-on with Rustic Fantastic’s cosmic arcade-style beat ’em up Redneck Ed: Astro Monsters Show, and Brezg Studio’s totalitarian mayor sim For the People, both slated for Steam releases later this summer.

Here’s a bit more info about both of these games:

Redneck Ed: Astro Monsters Show is an arcade beat-’em-up set in an intergalactic game show. Forced to compete in gruesome challenges to reclaim his stolen face, Ed must endure this torturous reality show while also trying to take down the sinister forces behind this business we call show. Featuring hand-drawn art inspired by cartoonishly grotesque animation like Ren & Stimpy, Redneck Ed: Astro Monsters Show takes players through some of the weirdest and wildest worlds imaginable. As you battle through waves of bloodthirsty aliens, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the inner workings of the most sadistic game show in the universe.

While making their way through the game’s worlds, the player will end up working towards one of several possible endings, determined by the set of side quests they choose to complete. Ed’s really gonna have to get his hands dirty by completing various tasks for the local aliens. Well, at least the ones who do not immediately want to kill him, that is!

For the People is a politically charged strategy game putting players in the shoes of a recently elected mayor in the Soviet inspired  Commonwealth of Orange Collectives.

  • You’ll have to make challenging moral and political decisions regarding economic distribution
  • Decide on social policies that have consequences to your people.
  • Deciding between strengthening your political party, working towards the nation’s long term growth.
  • Experience the near impossible task of keeping your people happy.

Tactical RPG ‘The Way of Wrath’ Demo Released

Choose your own destiny in a story-driven turn-based RPG, coming to Steam Early Access in 2020

Tbilisi, Georgia — June 16th 2020 — Independent developer Animmal today announced that the story-rich tactical RPG, The Way of Wrath, has released a free beta demo as part of the Steam Game Festival. From today until June 22nd players can experience this unique medley of classic turn-based roleplaying, survival and base management in a world ridden with myths and dark rituals.

In an ancient world where gods, curses, and shaman powers reign over human lives, a gruesome decade-long war has come to a bitter end for the Thein faction. Fleeing in desperation for their lives, the Thein tribesmen return to the unforgiving Northern lands to lick their wounds. But their escape is cut short by the large enemy force on their tail. The only way to survive imminent death is to gather remaining allies, scavenge the bleak no-man’s land for supplies and rebuild defenses of an old fort to withstand the brutal enemy assault. Leading people is no easy task, as desperation, petty squabbles and superstitions follow these war-torn soldiers every step of the way.

“The Way of Wrath was born out of our love for old-school RPGs. We took everything we admire about classic roleplaying games, including interactive story, tactical combat, a beautifully handcrafted world, and mixed in new elements like survival and fort management, creating our own unique take on the genre,” said Dato Kiknavelidze, co-founder of Animmal. “We are extremely excited to invite players into the derelict Northern lands of Thein during the beta to help us shape the game based on their feedback in preparation for the Steam Early Access launch later this year.”

Coming to Steam Early Access in 2020, The Way of Wrath is a narrative-driven tactical RPG featuring turn-based, dynamic combat, and a non-linear world where player’s decisions matter. Players journey a meticulously handcrafted landscape carrying out quests and interacting with NPCs, each having their own interactive storyline that is influenced by player choices. The grim world of The Way of Wrath presents an abundance of obstacles, including unrelenting environmental hazards, scarce supplies, and vicious enemies. Players not only have to unite a ragged group of warriors and rebuild a rundown fort before the enemy forces attack but also must maintain the morale of the troops, as in the face of adversity loyalty is hard to come by.
