Online racers have the opportunity to face off against FIA World Rallycross Championship drivers as qualifying goes live on DiRT Rally 2.0 on Saturday 28th March

Larkspur, Calif. (March 26, 2020) – Motorsport Games, the video game company dedicated to the integration of racing game development and esports, has today announced a partnership with Codemasters and the FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy to create the World RX Esports Invitational Championship. The series will be held on the dates of selected rounds of the 2020 FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy that have been postponed due to health concerns and government regulations relating to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. The first race, the Barcelona World RX Esports Invitational, will be held on Sunday, April 19 using DiRT Rally 2.0 on PC via Steam.

A number of the official World RX drivers will be taking part in the championship and fans around the world will have the opportunity to earn a place on the grid against these stars when the qualifying event goes live on DiRT Rally 2.0 on PC this Saturday, March 28. The top drivers who complete the six-lap race around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in the fastest time will be invited to take part in the live streamed showcase. In order to enter, PC Steam players should go to the ‘My Teams’ section of DiRT Rally 2.0 on Saturday, March 28 from 10:00 AM GMT / 6:00 AM ET / 3:00 AM PT and select the specially-marked promotional FIA World Rallycross tile from the Events screen.

The Gasmoxia Grand Prix has come to an end, but the race goes on! New content* from Crash™ Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is available now, including the bonus ‘Beenox Pack’ of content that will be automatically unlocked for players as a thank you for their unwavering support through all of the Grand Prix seasons.

All players should have to do is download the update while their console is connected to the internet and the content will be available. Players are also invited to try their hands at new challenges, compete against best track times from the Beenox team, explore new content in the Pit Stop, unlock a secret ‘crate’ character and more. 

Beenox is putting its bumper sticker all over the bonus new content pack, with Beenox-themed skins, kart, paintjob and wheels, and, for players who haven’t already unlocked them, an automatic unlock of popular characters Crunch and Geary (the latter will also be fully decked out in a legendary skin for the first time ever!). Players can now go head-to-head with the very best as they race against new ghost times in the Time Trial mode that represent the fastest laps completed by Beenox’s development team, with the reward being an amazing new set of Legendary Wheels. For beating best times by Oxide and Velo, racers will be awarded new signature decals, along with a Champion Kart (if not already unlocked) for those who prevail across all of Oxide’s Time Trials. Players who have already beaten these times will have this content unlocked automatically.

Perusing the Pit Stop, players will find three new characters, two new karts, a selection of new Legendary Skins, kart customization items and more. Due to popular demand, Beenox is rewarding players with a new version of Rilla Roo, dubbed “Fixed Rilla Roo”, who will be in the Pit Stop rotation for players who haven’t unlocked him yet. Players who have unlocked the old version of Rilla Roo will automatically get “Fixed Rilla Roo” while being able to keep the old one. Finally, items from each of the eight CTR Nitro-Fueled Grand Prix seasons will also reappear and rotate through the Pit Stop.

Recognized as the Best Sports/Racing Game at The Game Awards 2019 and Best Racing Game of 2019 by IGN, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will also introduce a new audio experience, where players can listen to each track’s soundtrack through the Options menu. The beloved Grand Prix-style challenges will be replaced with Wumpa Challenges, via rotating daily, weekly and monthly challenges that reward Wumpa Coins that players can use in the in-game Pit Stop.The ‘Ghost Hunt’ challenge type will return to Nina’s Nightmare track, the ‘Golden Wumpa’ challenge will remain, and a host of other fur-tastic updates are slated to roll out on March 26.

Three powerful characters from the expansive Monster Strike universe arrive today to join Overhit’s massive roster of galactic heroes, all brought to life by Japanese voiceover legends. Since its launch several years prior, Monster Strike’s intriguing characters and strategic role-playing action have been key factors in achieving its worldwide popularity.

The new Monster Strike characters include:

  • Lucifer (Dark/Dealer Type) – A fallen archangel who came to Industria from another world. She is searching for her lost friends. Her overwhelming power is surpassed only by the Almighty, and she easily outclasses Heavens’ top four archangels in battle. She dislikes pointless nonsense and is fearless and level-headed when the situation demands it.
  • D’Artagnyan (Water/Dealer Type) – A queen who came to Uruk Ran from another world. She is searching for her lost friends. The throne of France was bestowed upon her by King Louis the 13th, and now she takes great pride in her role and responsibilities. She is playful and strong-willed, but also deeply compassionate. She can never turn a blind eye to the plight of others.
  • Uriel (Light/Dealer Type) – An archangel who came to Granvas from another world. She is searching for her lost friends. She has the appearance of an angelic knight, and she fights to bring divine judgment upon those who defy the Almighty’s will. Earnest, cheerful, and straightforward, she is good friends with Lucifer.

From now until Wednesday, April 8, players can experience a Chance Boost Gacha for both D’Artagnyan and Uriel. Lucifer’s Chance Boost Gacha will also begin on Thursday, April 9 and extend until Thursday, April 23.

In addition to the three heroes’ arrival, today’s content update delivers multiple new features, including:

  • Monster Strike Event Dungeon – Players can dive into the new collaborative dungeon at three difficulties to experience cut scenes and unlock special themed rewards
  • Uriel’s AP Consumption Event – By accomplishing AP missions, players can unlock the powerful new character Uriel for free
  • Spacetime Raid Bosses – From now until Thursday, April 9, players can team up with friends and guild members to fight the unforgiving galactic monster Fenrir to earn Chaos Gear. From Thursday, April 9 to Wednesday, April 22, Fenrir will be replaced with Yoho
  • Additional Events – Several new and updated in-game events have been added, including seven-day attendance rewards, Angelo’s Bingo Event, a hero growth support event for Dark Type heroes, Marble Event and Lucifer’s Legendary Gacha boost event.

In Overhit,players are invited to command the Black Wings resistance army packed with characters from across time and space. A cast of more than 120 unforgettable heroes voiced by world-renowned anime voice actors such as Ishikawa Kaito, Uchida Aya and Morikawa  Toshiyuki take charge in agorgeous world with console-inspired 3D backgrounds.
