Visual upgrades coming as part of SS11 Vorax

Shanghai, China — December 28, 2025 | XD Games is happy to announce the newest Torchlight: Infinite season — SS11 Vorax — begins 15 January 2026. 

A sneak peek of what new content players can expect to see in the new season will be detailed in a video preview, coming 9 January 2026 on the official YouTube channel. Today, however, XD Games can reveal that Torchlight: Infinite will receive a number of visual upgrades alongside the launch of SS11 Vorax.

The first major update adds a new location, new threats and more weapons

Gaijin Entertainment and the Matter Team are pleased to announce that the first major update “Fire Walk” is already available for the hardcore online shooter Active Matter. Players now have access to the new industrial-style location “The Dam,” new monsters and anomalies, and an expanded arsenal of weapons and gear. The interface has also been improved, along with animations and visual effects. The new update trailer will absolutely fire you up before trying the game itself — Active Matter is available for purchase on the Gaijin Store.

New weapons include the M249 machine gun, the Origin-12 shotgun, the RPG-7 anti-tank rocket launcher, the SVDM sniper rifle, the AEK-971 and AN-94 Abakan assault rifles, and the PP-19-01 submachine gun. In addition, players can now set the zeroing distance of their weapon, equip optional muzzle brakes and flash suppressors, new titanium armor plates, and EDH-Gen V and TFMK-I helmets with active hearing protection.
