F1 2020 Serves Up a Taste of Vietnam with Hanoi Circuit Reveal

Larkspur, Calif. (May 29, 2020) – Codemasters® today announces the second new circuit to be featured in F1® 2020, the official videogame of the 2020 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. Having revealed Circuit Zandvoort earlier in the campaign, the development team heads to Vietnam for Hanoi Circuit. This city location fuses a street circuit’s characteristics with a permanent track layout. The lap, recorded by the F1 2020 development team, features Scuderia Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc. Hanoi Circuit is 5.613km long, features 23 turns and takes inspiration from iconic F1 circuits such as Suzuka, Monaco and Nürburgring. Designed for action and overtaking, with two incredibly long straights, it promises to be one of the fastest circuits in the F1 calendar. With one of the shortest pit lanes, which removes both the final and first corners, pit-stop strategy could play a pivotal role in staying ahead of the competition.

Hanoi Circuit delivers both thrills and challenges, set against the backdrop of the stunning city skyline,” said Codemasters’ F1 franchise Game Director, Lee Mather. “Hanoi Circuit is an adrenaline rush with high speeds, long straights and heavy braking zones, but it will punish anyone who doesn’t respect the walled sections.”

F1 2020 will release on Friday, July 10, 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox One X, Steam (PC), and Google Stadia (MSRP $59.99). Players who purchase the F1 2020 Michael Schumacher Deluxe Edition (MSRP $69.99) will receive exclusive content and three days early access.

Announces Officially Licensed NFL Clash Game for Mobile Devices

San Francisco – April 15, 2020 – Nifty Games Inc., a developer and publisher focused on quick-session, head-to-head sports games for mobile devices, has secured more than $12 million in Series A financing, with $15 million raised to date. The company has also announced NFL Clash, a mobile-first football game that will launch later this year, revealing the company’s licenses with the National Football League (NFL) and National Football League Players Association (NFLPA).

The round was led by seed round investor March Capital Partners. Previous investors aXiomatic Gaming and Defy VC also participated. New investors include Vulcan Capital, Courtside Ventures, Transcend Fund, Century Game and OneTeam Ventures, an investment vehicle created by RedBird Capital, the NFLPA, MLBPA, MLSPA, USWNTPA and WNBPA.

Following on from an exclusive reveal earlier this week on Twitch, the Spacebase Startopia beta will be unlocked today for all pre-purchase customers on the Kalypso Store, along with a special pre-purchase discount. The game is available in two versions, a Standard Edition consisting of the base game and beta access, and an Extended Edition which adds in-game items and a digital soundtrack into the mix for the true donut-shaped-space-station aficionado.

The new EP launches on June 1, 2020, and features powerful gangs and a story of revenge as two gang leaders return to a home they were forced out of. Adventure game Adam’s Venture: Origins is now available on Nintendo Switch™

The physical release has been postponed to a later date due to the current COVID-19 crisis. The adventure game has previously seen its release on PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Steam®. The adventure begins in 1925 when protagonist Adam and his trusted companion Evelyn discover a strange object bearing mysterious symbols. What started as a routine excavation has now turned into a race to discover the secret of Eden. The adventurous spirits of Adam and Evelyn lead them on a journey to uncover the location of the four rivers mentioned in the Book of Genesis. While climbing and swinging through adventurous environments, players have to prevent the dark plans of the evil Clairvaux Corporation. Solving puzzles and challenges will bring them closer to unraveling the mysteries in this family friendly adventure story.

As new aspects of the game’s story unfold in Season 5, the community’s connection to the lore and Legends is growing stronger as well. Apex Legends Season 5 trailers earned more than 47M views to date, the most ever for Apex Legends season launch trailers. Fortune’s Favor has also sparked the Apex Legends community to create UGC that has driven more than 176M views in the first two weeks, the most two week UGC views for any season launch to date.
