THE SEARCH FOR A LOST PAST BEGINS IN ATELIER KARIA: THE NIGHT KINGDOM & THE GUIDE OF MEMORIES

Get a taste of the journey ahead in the announcement trailer.

Hertfordshire, 12th June 2026 – Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Gust invite fans to embark on a delicious new adventure with the announcement of Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories, the latest instalment in the fan-favourite Atelier series. To celebrate, an announcement trailer has been released, giving fans a taste of the journey that awaits them. Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories is currently in development and is scheduled for release in early 2027 for Nintendo Switch™ 2, PlayStation®5, Windows PC via Steam® and XBOX Series X|S.

In Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories, players will return to the continent of Aladiss, first introduced in Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land. In this familiar land, players will set out on a journey centred on discovery and growth alongside amnesiac alchemist Karia. Working together with Servio Lektor, a heretic biologist from the pioneering team, and Fina Rozen, a talented fighter, Karia sets on a journey to explore Aladiss’ mysterious underworld to uncover its secret. Along the way, she gains the support of alchemist Yumia Liessfeldt and develops her talent for alchemy while seeking to recover her lost memories, reawaken the past, and savour the present.

Fans can anticipate an original Atelier experience with Karia’s unique ability, which combines alchemy and eating. During their exploration, players will be able to snack on ingredients they are gathering, which will provide them with various effects depending on the ingredients, such as gaining animal ears when snacking on animal-based ingredients. Players will also be able to synthesize and eat meals which will change Karia’s appearance and grant her with new abilities, unlocking useful skills for combat and exploration.

More than in all Atelier titles, alchemy and synthesis will remain at the heart of the gameplay, deepening players’ experience and allowing them to use synthesised items for more than just combat. Using the alchemy cauldron found in the depth of Aladdiss’ underworld, players will be able to create unique items thanks to a deep synthesis system that blends strategy and creativity. By connecting the mana pieces of the different ingredients selected, players can change the effects of the item synthesised, resulting in an infinite number of possible variations and combinations.

Combat mechanics introduced in Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land have been refined to offer a complex battle system blending action with strategic combat menus. As such, players will be able to parry enemy attacks in real time while also being able to control the flow of the battle by pausing time, allowing them to select the skills and items to use via the command menu. Synthesised items can also be used during exploration to allow players to reach new locations or find hidden treasures. Depending on the items used, they will be able to solve challenges and even gather different ingredients. Furthermore, it will be possible to use synthesised items while building to improve the efficiency of their bases.

Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories is currently in development and is scheduled for release in early 2027 for Nintendo Switch™ 2, PlayStation®5, Windows PC via Steam® and XBOX Series X|S. The game will include Japanese voices with English, French, German and Spanish texts.

ESCAPE THE HAND IN LOSTBOUND’S STEAM NEXT FEST DEMO

Explore a world being consumed by darkness, discover powerful artefacts, and outrun a relentless force in this striking action-RPG roguelite

MILAN, Italy – 12 June 2026. Indie developer Tenkarider, alongside publisher Tambù Digital, is excited to announce that the action-RPG roguelite Lostbound will participate in Steam Next Fest from June 15–22 with a thrilling updated playable demo.

Blending retro-inspired exploration with high-stakes roguelite progression, Lostbound challenges players to find the lost artefacts while being relentlessly pursued by a mysterious force known only as The Hand. Every decision matters as the world crumbles behind you, paths disappear, and survival becomes a race against time.

Available throughout Steam Next Fest, the demo offers players their first chance to experience the opening region of Lostbound, uncover powerful artifacts, experiment with multiple weapons, and begin shaping their own playstyle through a range of permanent upgrades. Players can also choose between Adventure Mode and Campaign Mode, offering two distinct ways to experience the journey and tackle the dangers ahead.

At the heart of Lostbound is The Hand, an ever-present threat that constantly reshapes the adventure. Darkness spreads across the world with every step, destroying locations and limiting safe routes forward. Venture too far into the shadows and players will find themselves trapped within dangerous dungeons where powerful rewards await, but lingering too long risks drawing the attention of The Hand itself. Every run becomes a delicate balance between exploration, risk, and survival as the world slowly disappears around you.

Throughout Steam Next Fest, players will also be able to tune in to a special Steam Broadcast hosted by the development team, featuring live gameplay, behind-the-scenes insights into the creation of Lostbound, and a closer look at the systems driving its unique roguelite adventure.

About Lostbound

In Lostbound, the ground beneath your feet is anything but stable. Every movement leaves a permanent mark on the world, and retracing your steps too often risks destruction as The Hand tears apart the paths behind you. As safe routes disappear and darkness spreads, players must carefully plan their journey while adapting to an ever-changing world.

Exploration rewards bravery. Hidden throughout the world are dangerous dungeons filled with powerful artefacts, upgrades, and opportunities to strengthen your build. Yet every reward comes with risk, as time spent in the darkness brings The Hand ever closer.

With procedurally generated dungeons, dynamic artefact combinations, multiple weapons, and ever-changing challenges, no two runs unfold the same way. Success depends on careful planning, smart resource management, and learning how to stay one step ahead of the force determined to claim you.

Lostbound is coming to PC via Steam later this year. Download the Steam Next Fest demo from June 15–22, wishlist the game today, and discover how long you can outrun The Hand.

CRAFT ON THE FLY, EXTRACT, REPEAT – NO REFUNDS!

New Co-Op Horror Extraction Game “Expendabots” Revealed

Bratislava, Slovakia – June 12, 2026 – Independent Studio Collision Games and Publisher Blue Brain Games are proud to announce Expendabots, a frantic 4-player co-op horror extraction game, following its world premiere at the Future Games Show: Summer Showcase.

Expendabots drops players into ever-shifting islands filled with danger, mystery, and rewards. You and your friends must explore, scavenge, and survive. Run when you can, hide when you must, loot abandoned facilities, and extract with your squad before the island is lost – carrying whatever relics you can recover.

Each Expendabot carries a portable 3D printer, a lifeline in the field, capable of crafting everything from emergency power cells to decoys that lure enemies away.

Welcome to the Custody Zone

In an alternate universe, the Custody Zone is a forbidden archipelago sealed off from the rest of the world, filled with abandoned facilities, unstable machinery, and technology no one fully understands.

To recover what remains, corporation Nullshore Consortium deploys Expendabots, expendable robotic units built to scavenge, survive, and extract valuable relics from places too dangerous for anyone else.

But the Custody Zone is far from dead. Its machines still follow old orders, its facilities still defend their secrets, and each expedition brings Expendabots closer to whatever was left behind.

Key Features:

  • 1-4 player extraction co-op for PC and Mac via Steam
  • Unique handcrafted artstyle
  • Proximity chat that can also be heard by enemy NPCs
  • Expendabots carry portable 3D printers on their backs, enabling an in-game crafting system on the go
  • 5 dungeon types, each with its own environment, puzzles and enemies
  • Procedurally generated islands and dungeons, making every run completely unique
  • Progression system built around robotic arms, unlocking new mechanics and abilities
  • Lovable Expendabots that you can respawn by bringing their heart back to a big 3D printer

Players can wishlist Expendabots on Steam right now and join the community on Discord to take part in the ongoing conversation.

The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu Demo Available During Steam Next Fest

Lesquin, France, June 12, 2026 – NACON and ACE Team are pleased to announce that The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu will be featured at Steam Next Fest in June 2026. PC players will be able to take their first steps into the game’s cursed jungle from June 15 to 22. To mark the occasion, the studio is releasing a new trailer that offers a glimpse into the gameplay and the oppressive atmosphere of this cooperative horror game.

Click here to watch the Overview Trailer of The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu:

In The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, players take on the role of explorers searching for legendary treasures deep within a hostile jungle. This demo supports up to 4 players in online co-op and lets you experience the first few hours of the game. Several types of missions are available, ranging from simple treasure hunts to battles against fearsome creatures.

Before each expedition, players gather aboard the galleon to choose a contract and share weapons and equipment. Once they arrive on the continent, the explorers set out in search of treasures and resources to bring back to the galleon’s captain. Ancient forts, remnants of lost expeditions, await discovery. They allow players to establish a new starting point to venture deeper into the jungle as expeditions progress.

But the jungle hides even more terrifying dangers. As they venture deeper into the jungle, their perception of reality gradually becomes corrupted until their sanity reaches a critical point. Visual and auditory illusions disorient the adventurers, potentially causing accidental sabotage that could jeopardize the mission. Even death offers no respite: fallen comrades may return in a corrupted form and turn against their allies.

Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s cosmic horror short novel, The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu invites players to form a squad of 2 to 4 members to embark on an uncharted continent in search of a legendary city containing invaluable treasures.

The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu will be available on July 15, 2026 on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Battle Billionaire Warmongers in High-Speed Roguelite Boomer Shooter “Gunstoppable” on PC, Xbox Aug 5

Viral “Okay Boomer” meme creator Neekolul coincidentally joins a boomer shooter’s voice cast

LOS ANGELES — 12 June, 2026 — Gunstoppable, the momentum-based, fast-paced roguelite boomer shooter from a former God of War developer now leading CAGE Studios, breaks out the big guns on PC via Steam and Xbox consoles on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

Those who profit from war leave only destruction in their wake. Enact revenge against greedy warlords as a trained killer with the help of his sister. It’s a one-way capitalist-toppling trip, and since he might not make it out alive…might as well livestream it for the world to see!

Become a heat-seeking missile of manifested rage and leave behind a mountainous trail of robotic husks as the whole world watches. Rack up views (and score points) with impressive takedowns, from giant enemy crabs to fame-hungry nepo babies, and inspire millions of viewers to turn against their oppressors!

Move faster, hit harder — build momentum by sliding, grappling, dodging, wall-running, and rail-grinding to outmaneuver an army of robots. Unleash momentum-based mayhem with an array of weapons that grow in strength alongside every speed boost. Execute perfectly-timed parries and stylish acrobatics to add both flair and point multipliers to the carnage.

Dual-wield 10 distinct weapons, and upgrade them with an additional 14 attachments and 24 augments, leading to all kinds of game-breaking fusions. Turn shotguns into flamethrowers, convert banana bullets into nukes, and boost defensive and offensive capabilities by unlocking hidden synergies.

Purchase new powers from friendly black market merchant Kane the Rat and create loadouts to show no mercy to rogue robots and evil executives. Destroy mechanized militia, drones, winged assassins, and confront five capitalist bosses in a fully voiced campaign featuring Gianni Matragano (ULTRAKILL), content creator Neekolul, and many others.

“Whether working at Sony Santa Monica or solo-developing my own titles, my career in game development has been hyper-focused on movement mechanics,” says Salaar Kohari, co-founder of CAGE Studios. “Gunstoppable is a culmination of everything I’ve learned up to this point, combining hyperfast gameplay with crisp, predictable mobility and a compelling narrative.”

Obliterate billionaire bosses when Gunstoppable launches on PC via Steam and Xbox on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Supported languages at launch include English, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. For more information and the latest updates, follow CAGE Studios on Discord, YouTube, and Instagram.
