Give Us a Story Worth Sharing

The overall focus of the Untold Tales’ portfolio will be primarily single player games that have the ability to tell an intriguing story, be it in the game itself or through gameplay. Untold Tales has also set itself up to focus on only releasing a select handful of games a year that match this criteria and only for platforms that fit each title.

“Being selective and only focusing on 1 or 2 games at time ensures our devs are taken care of both during and after production and not feel like they’re just another name among 10 others we’re juggling. We also want them to feel they’re allowed to focus on putting their game out where they are wanted. Times have changed significantly in how best to put a game out and that also means some platforms are better than others for certain games. Lets Cool it with the Business BS

Much of the focus for Untold Tales will be to be a publisher who wants to “cut the crap” for both devs and players alike. From skewed publishing agreements, convoluted demands right through to vague communication and messaging to players – those are all out. Rather an approach that is fair and custom to each game will be in place while overall being data and community focused to ensure time, effort and resources are spent on doing things that actually benefit both the developer and the players. 

“Devs need to understand we don’t want the rights to your IP. We don’t want revenue shares where you end up screwed. And we’ll never expect you to release something that isn’t ready and just wrecks your studio’s reputation. Rather we’re going to have very open and transparent agreements, where a lot of our decisions will be based on data and community feedback and not some spray and pray mentality. As for players, except honest conversations, clear responses and no ludicrous 3 tiered pre-order campaigns with paid DLC waiting in the wings for a month later. We’ll ensure our games are supported post release as best as possible, be it with free updates or with bigger content if the dev team is onboard. The Hong Kong Massacre and Beautiful Desolation Join the Family

Untold Tales have already agreed to help bring The Hong Kong Massacre – the stylish slow-motion manipulation top down shooter by Swedish devs VRESKI – to the Nintendo Switch. This will follow with the atmospheric and twisted Beautiful Desolation – the isometric adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic Africa from renowned South African devs The Brotherhood – coming to PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Former Techland producer and Head of Operations Maciej Łączny will be heading up a team made up of experienced specialists in production, QA, bizdev, marketing and PR.

We want to be one of the rare teams that show the gaming world you can do this all differently and approach both devs and players with total fairness and respect. Kicking off RazerCon 2020, Razer’s Co-founder and CEO, Min-Liang Tan, will showcase Razer’s latest products, services and announcements during a live, virtual keynote presentation set against the iconic Singapore skyline.

The backdrop will be brought to life through immersive mixed-reality technology which incorporates augmented real-time effects, along with live-composited visuals taken from real-world photography and video footage – all this while being streamed live.

The world’s first RGB lighting-reactive livestream

RazerCon attendees will be in for an audio-visual treat in the first-ever livestreamed event powered by Razer Chroma RGB lighting (patent pending), a proprietary RGB lighting technology system that features 16.8 million colours to create endless animated lighting effects. Viewers around the world are encouraged to turn on their Razer hardware during the show and watch their Razer Chroma-enabled devices sync and dance to world-class performances from top EDM artists, and heavy metal band Sabaton as well as Herman Li from DragonFroce, all of which are part of the RazerCon post-event concert.

LOS ANGELES – SEPT. 28, 2020 Netmarble’s latest update for the popular mobile action role-playing game (RPG) THE KING OF FIGHTERS ALLSTAR  adds several new features, characters and battle cards, along with a new gameplay mode and special event for players to check out.

Today’s update welcomes new characters Shion and B. Jenet from THE KING OF FIGHTERS XI into the mix for players to collect, train, and fight with. New battle cards increasing attack power and active skill damage are also available for both characters.

As we enter a new season of TEKKEN 7 esports competition, additional gameplay improvements and new content are coming for the acclaimed fighting game title in its Season 4 update. Kicking-off the updates are the return of a 2nd generation Kunimitsu and a brand new Vermilion Gates stage, both will be available in fall 2020. Kunimitsu’s last official appearance in a TEKKEN game was in TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2. Fans should look forward to wielding her Manji Ninjutsu skills in battle!

Along with Kunimitsu and the Vermilion Gates updates, there will be an array of free updates coming to TEKKEN 7, including:

  • New Moves: All TEKKEN 7 characters will be receiving new moves to add to their arsenal of martial arts skills.
  • Updated UI: More streamlined user interface
  • Online Play Enhancements: Response improvement / Wi-Fi indicator

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. today released a new teaser trailer for SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris, showing off additional scenarios that will be coming soon to the game. Headlining the additional scenarios is “Ancient Apostles: Reaper of the Woods,” which features fan-favorite heroine Sinon taking on a new boss called Fatal Scythe in a scenario by Violet Evergarden-writer Kana Akatsuki. Three additional scenarios featuring Tiese, Selka and Silica respectively were also revealed.

The first DLC for SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris was announced as part of the teaser as well. Fans can look forward to “Blooming of Forget-me-not” coming to the game soon.

FIRST HIEI GAMEPLAY TRAILER REVEALED FOR JUMP FORCE

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. today debuted the first gameplay trailer for Hiei, who will be setting the JUMP FORCE roster ablaze as part of Character Pass 2 this fall for PlayStation®4, Xbox One and PC users, and 2021 for Nintendo Switch players. Alongside Hiei, JUMP FORCE Character Pass 2 also features the currently available Shoto Todoroki, the coming-soon Meruem, and two yet-to-be announced characters from Bleach and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. By purchasing Character Pass 2 for $17.99, players will gain immediate access to Todoroki, and unlock Hiei, Meruem, and the two remaining DLC characters as they release; each character may also be purchased individually for $3.99.

JUMP FORCE is available now for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system system, Xbox One and PCs via STEAM®; the JUMP FORCE Deluxe Editionis also currently available for Nintendo Switch.

BANDAI NAMCO ENTERTAINMENT AMERICA INC. REVEALS NEW PLAYABLE CHARACTER FOR SCARLET NEXUS

A new playable character has been revealed for SCARLET NEXUS this past weekend during a digital Tokyo Game Show presentation. Kasane Randall mixes her projectile weapons with psychic powers in her fight against The Others. Players can select either Kasane or Yuito at the start of the game to experience their perspective of events happening in SCARLET NEXUS. Finishing both storylines will provide the full SCARLET NEXUS story. 

Kasane is an orphan who lost her parents in a raid from the Others when she was a child and adopted by the powerful Randall family when she was 12 years old. She is now an elite super soldier with superb fighting skills. Kasane and Yuito are supported by various party members through their journeys including Gemma Garrison, Luka Travers, and Tsugumi Nazar.

In the far distant future, a psionic hormone has been discovered in the human brain, granting people extra-sensory powers, and changing the world as we know it. As humanity enters this new era, deranged mutants known as Others begin to descend from the sky with a hunger for human brains. Impervious to conventional weapons, those with acute extra-sensory abilities, known as psychics, are our only chance to fight the onslaught from above and preserve humanity. Since that fateful day psychics have been scouted for their talents and recruited to the Other Suppression Force, humanity’s last line of defense.

SCARLET NEXUS will be available for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and PC via STEAM®.
