The Cloud II Wireless utilises a durable aluminum frame with an adjustable headband, pliable leatherette, and plush memory foam for signature HyperX comfort. The headset uses large 53mm drivers that are specifically tuned for gaming audio to deliver impressive sound. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Live Content Plan Unveiled, Including Season Pass Content with Two Major Expansions and Free Content Seasons, with Discovery Tour coming in 2021

Sydney, Australia — October 21, 2020 — Today, Ubisoft announced the Assassin’s Creed® Valhalla post-launch plan, including a Season Pass with two major expansions of narratively driven gameplay and an exclusive quest. Additionally, all Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players will have access to free seasonal content including in-game events and festivals, new settlement buildings, services and games modes. Ubisoft also announced that Discovery Tour, the educational tool that lets anyone explore the game in a conflict-free environment, will be available for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in 2021.

With the Season Pass, players will discover new territories and stories through two major expansions and an exclusive quest. Once available, expansions will be accessible early from within the structure of the main game, providing a meaningful story that adds to Valhalla’s rich open world. In addition, all players will enjoy new free content through Seasons, with each Season lasting three months – Season 1 will launch in December 2020, extending the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla experience post-launch.

The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Season Pass is included in the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Gold, Ultimate and Collector Editions and is available for purchase separately for $59.95 AUD. The Season Pass includes:

  • The Legend of Beowulf quest: In this exclusive quest, players will uncover the monstrous truth behind the legend of Beowulf, available on the launch day of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
  • Expansion 1 – Wrath of the Druids: In this new adventure, players will journey to Ireland and unravel the mysteries of an ancient and mysterious druidic cult, tracking and discovering their members. Diving into Gaelic myths and folklores, they’ll need to fight their way through haunted forests and dazzling landscapes while gaining influence among Gaelic kings.
  • Expansion 2 – The Siege of Paris: In The Siege of Paris, players will have the chance to relive the most ambitious battle in Viking History with key historical figures of war-torn Frankia. During this key moment in history, players will infiltrate the fortified city of Paris and the River Seine under a prolonged siege, uncover enemy secrets, and form strategic alliances to safeguard their clan’s future.

In addition, all players will have access to an extensive line-up of free seasonal content including new narrative content and in-game events available after launch. Each season will last three months and will come with exciting content, accessible to all player types and levels of progression, focused on gameplay and world evolution. 

Season 1 will launch in December 2020 with the following content planned:

  • A new settlement area, allowing players to continue to grow and evolve their settlement.
  • A traditional Viking Festival: the Yule Festival, for players to experience in their settlement.
  • A new game mode: the River Raids. Building on Valhalla’s core raiding mechanic the mode will deliver a dynamic, challenging and highly replayable raid experience.
  • The addition of the Ranks for Jomsviking: in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players can not only create their lieutenant to be part of their raiding crew, but also recruit some from their friends and the community. In Season 1, players will see an update to the Jomsviking feature which will allow their Jomsviking to earn XP and rank up – the higher will be the rank of the lieutenant, the more silver players will earn when recruited by other players.
  • Finally, as for each season, Season 1 will also come with new player skills and abilities, weapons and gear, and cosmetic items for the settlement, longship, horse and raven.

Season 2 will launch in March 2021 with a new game mode that builds on Valhalla’s core combat experiences, a new Jomsviking update, festivals in the Settlement, new gear and cosmetic items, and more. More information about Season 3 and 4 will be come at a later time.

There will be more to come as the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla development team is committed to support the game and continued improvement of the core experience with additional content, yet to be revealed.

The upcoming Designer’s Cut content add-on adds exciting new ways to play, including a brand new Skill Tree for each Vault Hunter – see Amara and FL4K’s new abilities now!

Get ready to level up, Vault Hunters! Last week we announced the new Designer’s Cut add-on is coming to Borderlands® 3 on November 10, and today the Borderlands Creator Team revealed two major pieces of content that will be available as part of that add-on: the brand new Skill Trees for Vault Hunters Amara and FL4K.

Players looking for fresh and exciting new ways to experience Borderlands 3’s shooting and looting can wield the power of these additional Skill Trees to develop their own unique Vault Hunter builds. Each Skill Tree offers a fresh Action Skill, as well as novel new passive abilities that can be mixed with existing abilities to create new ways to play each bona fide badass.

Amara‘snew Phaseflare Action Skill summons a giant, controllable orb of elemental destruction that lets her bowl a bloody path through the opposition. Meanwhile, her Enlightened Force Skill Tree lets her freeze enemies using Cryo elemental effects, rounding out her toolkit of natural elements. The passive abilities in the Enlightened Force tree help her maximize elemental damage and slow enemies down so they have no hope of outrunning her Phaseflare.

FL4K gains some reliable crowd control with their new Gravity Snare Action Skill. This long-lasting skill periodically tosses nearby enemies into the air, interrupting their attacks before painfully slamming them back to the ground. The passive abilities in the Trapper Skill Tree give FL4K and their pet huge survivability increases via shield bonuses, as well as added damage through increased critical hit effects.

Both Arms Race and the new Skill Trees are part of the Designer’s Cut add-on. Designer’s Cut requires a copy of Borderlands 3 to play and can be purchased individually or as part of Season Pass 2Season Pass 2 will include two all-new downloadable content add-ons – Designer’s Cut and Director’s Cut – and will be available for purchase starting November 10 across PC, Stadia, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X / Series S. The Designer’s Cut add-on also launches on November 10, while Director’s Cut is planned for release in spring of next year.

And don’t forget, Borderlands 3’s next-gen upgrade will be available day-and-date alongside Microsoft and Sony’s new consoles. The next-gen version of the game will be playable at launch on the Xbox Series X / Series S on November 10, as well as on the PlayStation 5 when it launches on November 12. All players who own or purchase both a copy of the game and a next-gen console will be able to download the upgrade within the same console family for free.

Red Bull Flick Brings New CS:GO Mode To Australia

Red Bull Flick is a new 2v2 CS:GO tournament giving amateur players from around the world the opportunity to face the best pro players in custom maps.

Sydney, Oct 21: International Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) tournament Red Bull Flick brings a brand new game mode to fans as the competition launches in Australia. The exclusive game mode titled ‘Hold The Flag’ will be available to players along with brand new maps and a suite of unique settings, with registrations for the tournament opening today.

Red Bull Flick introduces a unique game mode to CS:GO with Hold The Flag, where dynamic duos face off in a King-of-the-hill style match up. In the grassroots tournament setting, Red Bull offers the chance for amateur and pro players to level up with the aim to reach the live finals. To win each match, pairs will need to secure and defend the flag point for 45 seconds on maps especially designed for the new game mode. Hold the Flag comes with five new custom maps with unique settings and game mechanics to keep the competition varied; Castle, Garden, Speedway, Matrix and Himalaya are all available to play now on Steam.

Registered players will frag it out in a series of 8 online qualifiers supported by ESL Australia, across November 16-19 and 23-26, where they’ll score the opportunity to play alongside professionals and amateurs alike. The Grand Final will take place on November 29, and will be live streamed for viewers from Red Bull’s Twitch Channel. The Red Bull Flick Grand Final Winning Duo will score a custom built PC each, valued at $3,000AUD.

In the lead up to the qualifiers, Red Bull will be showcasing the exclusive game mode and brand new maps live on the official Red Bull Twitch channel. Fallout 76 | Free Play Week, In-Game Events, Fallout 1st Preview and More Begin Now

Bombs Drop Day is here and to celebrate Fallout 76 is free-to-play across all platforms this week! Players will be treated to limited-time in-game events including a Legendary Vendor Sale, plus a limited Fallout 1st preview, game sales, discounts for Atoms packs and more.

Free Play Week
From October 20 through October 26, players can hop into Fallout 76 and play the game for free! This includes the base game experience, as well as Wastelanders and Nuclear Winter. Players can jump in from the start of the game, and if they decide to purchase the game when the Free Play Week ends, all progress will carry over, and so will any Atomic Shop purchases made during the week. In-Game Events
There will be three in-game events running from October 22 – 26. Get Double S.C.O.R.E. and Double XP, as well as 25% off Legendary weapons and armour from the Purveyor at the Rusty Pick in the Ash Heap.

Players can get a taste of a Fallout 1st membership with the free Fallout 1st Preview. PAC-MAN AND CATERPILLAR INC. RECREATE CLASSIC ARCADE GAME USING HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. and Caterpillar Inc. have announced The Cat Trial #9: PAC-MAN™, the newest entry in a series of short films demonstrating the capabilities of Caterpillar’s machines through different challenges, this time via a real-life game of PAC-MAN featuring a 29,296 sq. ft. maze and heavy duty machines. Just in time to celebrate PAC-MAN’s 40th anniversary, this entry sees five professionals from the worlds of esports and social media, as well as Caterpillar’s own customers manning construction equipment to live out their arcade dreams by recreating a classic PAC-MAN scenario. To recreate the arcade experience on a real-life construction site, Caterpillar utilized 6,880 yards of cut dirt from which to dig out the maze and berm (a horizontal surface acting as a fortification). In the end, a total of 5,300 tons of earth was moved, resulting in a maze with walls measuring 4 ft. high and overall dimensions of 162.4 by 180.4 ft. 

POWER PELLETS placed in the maze are represented by Cat Services— Customer Value Agreements, Repair Options, Cat Financial and Cat App, while fruit bonuses are also represented on the field by Cat part boxes. The participants controlling the Cat 236D3 skid steers using line-of-sight remote control systems were:

  • PAC-MAN™ – Played by Jim Kosner of JIMAX Landscaping & Demolition, Peoria, Ill.
  • BLINKY – Played by Joey Stone, NASCAR/Richard Childress Racing (RCR) eSports driver of the #8 Virtual Cat car
  • INKY – Played by Alfonso Farjardo of Horsepower Site Services, Charlotte, N.C., a Caterpillar Global Operator Challenge regional finalist
  • PINKY – Played by BLITZ, social media influencer, YouTube gaming content creator, and civil engineer
  • CLYDE – Played by Tom Gardocki, The Dirt Ninja, social media influencer, professional heavy equipment operator in landscaping and construction
