Prepare for Some of the Most fun to have on your console in 2021, as ‘Can’t Drive This’ Physical Version is announced

You Can’t Drive this, but you can buy (then crash it) it when the chaotic multiplayer racing game arrives in stores for PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5

LONDON January 14th 2021 – Pixel Maniacs and Perp Games are proud to announce their partnership to bring ‘Can’t Drive This’ to physical retail on PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5, in early 2021.

‘Can’t Drive This’ is a competitive co-op multiplayer party racing game (yes, this is such a thing) and some of the most fun you will have on your console in 2021.

The unique gameplay sees players frantically building the road in front of them as your CO-OP partner attempts to drive their monster truck on your newly made raceway.   Easy right?   Maybe,, but the driver must keep the vehicle above the speed-limit, or the vehicle will explode (Heard that plot line before..).  Of course, if they they drive too fast, they will run out road, so don’t think you get it easy as the road builder. Then, if you can’t take the pressure of building the track, customise your own truck with gazillions of options and try your hand at driving while your mate scrabbles to pave the way.

With 2-player online multiplayer game as well as up to 4 players on local split screen, single player, 4 games modes, literally trillions of customizable options across vehicles and tracks (no, we have not tried them all), and leaderboards the tension fun never stops.

Currently available as an Early Access Title on Steam, ‘Can’t Drive This’ has been a huge favorite for You Tubers and Streamers with 1,000’s of videos generating millions of views.

‘Can’t Drive This’ will be available this spring, physically and digitally on PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 as well as additional digital formats.

Steve Crouse, Creative Director at Pixel Maniacs said, “We didn’t develop Can’t Drive This as a remedy for low blood pressure, but it is what it is.  We know how important physical copies are to people and we are thrilled that our fans will have the option to own Can’t Drive this in physical format.”

Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best and ‘Can’t Drive This’ had everyone at Perp in fits of laughter,” said Rob Edwards, Managing Director.  “It is such a massive pleasure to add ‘Can’t Drive This’ to our growing portfolio of current and next gen games, we are proud to be working with such a talented team”

And yes, it’s as chaotic as it sounds – especially in four player split-screen.

Can’t Drive This’ comes to Global Physical Retail on PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5, in early 2021.

Bloober Team Debuts Stunning Live Action Trailerbfor The Medium

Atmospheric, Cinematic Short Produced in Conjunction with Award-Winning Studio Platige Image

KRAKOW, POLAND – Jan. 14, 2021 – Bloober Team, the studio behind acclaimed horror games including Blair Witch, Observer: System Redux and Layers of Fear, today released a live action trailer for its upcoming psychological horror title, The Medium.

The cinematic two-and-half-minute trailer was produced in cooperation with award-winning VFX and animation studio Platige Image, with academy award nominee Tomasz Bagiński serving as Writer and Creative Producer, and talented Paweł Maślona as Director.

The trailer brings to life in stunning detail the game’s unique atmosphere and art style inspired by painter Zdzisław Beksiński – in addition the key characters central to the game’s mystery, including Marianna the titular medium, an enigmatic man named Thomas, a spirit called Sadness, and The Maw, a deceptive and hostile entity who can travel between the material and spirit world.

“The Medium is a game with a very strong narrative backbone. The most important thing for me was to understand what the essence of this story is, who its heroes are and its tone,”said Writer & Creative Producer, Bagiński. “The task was to lean as hard as possible on the emotional side of the story while trying to keep as many of the twists as possible a secret. The script is supposed to build a certain mood rather than reveal a story.

Bagiński is an academy award-nominated and Bafta-winning filmmaker, visualist and storyteller. He was responsible for directing the now-iconic cinematics for such games as The Witcher series and Cyberpunk 2077, as well as Microsoft and Ubisoft productions.

While the live-action trailer takes a thematic, atmospheric and character-driven approach to The Medium, Bloober Team also recently released an extended 14-minute gameplay trailer that can be seen at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJi-7Ue_7ms. Players will be able to fully recognize and appreciate the many references and interesting details included as part of the live-action trailer once they have the chance to play the game later this month.

The Medium is our biggest and most ambitious project to date,” said Piotr Babieno, CEO, Bloober Team. “When we thought who could write a live action trailer for the game, Tomasz Bagiński quickly became the most natural choice. After all, his Oscar-nominated The Cathedral was also inspired by the art of Zdzisław Beksiński, just like the spirit world in our game. I’m personally very happy that we could create something together.”

Players can head to www.themediumgame.com to preorder on Steam, Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store at the price of $49.99/€49.99/£41.74 with a 10% off discount before launch. Players who pre order via Steam will receive The Medium Original Soundtrack (by Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikowski) and The Art of The Medium (digital artbook).

Developed and published by Bloober Team, and rated “M for Mature” by the ESRB and PEGI 18, The Medium will launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store on Jan. 28.

With a treasure trove of content planned and console versions too, there’s a lot more to come from us in 2021.”

In a reimagined late 19th Century, it is 1886 and the world is waiting with bated breath in the lead up to Paris World’s Fair. During this time, an immense discovery has been made: mysterious islands in the oceans have begun to appear, only to vanish soon afterwards, as if by magic. The three great Explorer Clubs of Paris are now funding expeditions to these strange islands in a bid to make bold new discoveries, to be exhibited in their stands at the upcoming World’s Fair. Take on the role of an intrepid explorer, assemble your crew, and come across all manner of unique cultures, flora, fauna, treasures and more. With a timeless art style inspired by the classic Franco-Belgian comics of the 20th century and an arrestingly charming orchestrated soundtrack, Curious Expedition 2 is a pulp adventure storybook come to life.

Using a combination of hand-crafted and procedural gameplay and story elements, Curious Expedition 2 creates completely unique and epic adventures every time you play. It tells its story through traditional choice-based adventure mechanics, but also adds in resource management, turn-based exploration and combat sections with dice-roll mechanics, and roguelike elements. It’s a curious mix of genres and subgenres, all wrapped up in a streamlined and accessible gameplay experience with powerfully dynamic options.

In Curious Expedition 2, no two adventures are ever the same. Your character and those you recruit are all procedurally-generated with specific classes, but with their own unique look, abilities, strengths and weaknesses. On your adventures, all manner of unforeseen circumstances can positively or negatively impact your progress, so careful resource and sanity management is needed to make it back home with your spoils – and your team! There are multiple expedition types, each with their own unique goals and events. Will you seek out the legendary Golden Pyramid, or choose to recover the Rainbow Orchid instead? Plunder ancient shrines, haggle with traders or indigenous tribes, loot ghostly pirate ships, and a whole lot more in your own procedural pulp adventure. In Curious Expedition 2, a world of unimaginable wonder and surprise awaits!

Curious Expedition 2 is available now for PC (Steam®), priced at $/€19.99 / £16.99. Later in 2021 Curious Expedition 2 will come to Nintendo Switch™, Xbox and PlayStation® platforms.

3DClouds is a graphic studio creating multimedia productions in Computer Graphics and MultiService 3D. For some years 3DClouds has specialized in creating video games thanks to a team of veterans of the sector, with experience in Microsoft, Milestone and Ubisoft, and a team of young and enthusiastic talents. 3DClouds debut videogame All-Star Fruit Racing released in 2018 was a kart racer available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch. The following year 2019 turned out to be a very big year for 3DClouds with three separate titles released. Xenon Racer our second game was released in the spring showcasing another example of design innovation within the racing videogames genre. In November “Race With Ryan” a second kart racing game was released which we developed for the most famous youtuber channel in the world, Ryan’s Toy Reviews. Closing out on a busy 2019 we also released CARRUMBLE, a completely new take on the brawler genre.
