Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen and Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen director Kento Kinoshita also joined today’s Capcom Spotlight to share how the highly anticipated expansion to Dragon’s Dogma 2 introduces rewarding gameplay options and more adventures for Arisen to encounter. Following the June title Update, Dragon’s Dogma 2 will also receive an additional update in late August to improve performance across all platforms, add additional save slots, adjust the Dragonsplague condition, and increase weapon skill slots from four to six.

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen features a brand-new story set in the long-abandoned northern region of Norgan, while also introducing 12 challenge dungeons for Arisen to hone their skills along with new customization hair and tattoo options for players to realize their vision for the Arisen and their main Pawn. The Takedown at Hadron Abyss is an upcoming monumental endgame challenge, free for all players. Accessible via any major hub Raid Board after beating the main campaign, this brutal raid sends Vault Hunters into a brand new zone, Hadron Abyss, a secret, fully submerged underwater research station filled with mutated horrors and aquatic apex predators.

Players’ builds and skills will be put to the test as they attempt to navigate the new sprawling area filled with mobs to go toe-to-fin with the final boss, the Child of Terramorphous.   • Fishward (Jakobs Assault Rifle): Hitting your target will spawn fish projectiles that drunkenly swim towards any nearby enemies, which grant a stacking damage increase to your next magazine when they score a kill.
  • Little Sister (Tediore Shield): When this shield is broken, it summons a drone that fires shots at nearby enemies when you land hits for a percentage of current weapon’s damage.
  • Vitae (Jakobs Repkit): Critical hits will heal you for a set amount.
  • Ordinance (Tediore Grenade Ordnance): Throws a book-shaped grenade that spreads damaging pages as it travels.
  • Draupner (Order Heavy Weapon Ordnance): Fires multiple projectiles that spawn even more projectiles, which return back towards you whenever they hit an enemy, bounce off a surface, or travel for a set amount of time.
• Five New Class Mods: A unique Class Mod will be available for each current Vault Hunter. A sixth Class Mod will be added to this loot pool in September when the next Vault Hunter, Loveless the Hacker, arrives in Story Pack 2.

Returning Circle of Slaughter Gauntlet Mode
The beloved, wave-based gauntlet mode from Borderlands 3 makes a surprise return, reimagined and completely free for all players as a response to massive fan feedback. Circle of Slaughter requires players to survive five rounds of three increasingly deadly waves, with a brutal boss crashing the third wave of every round. Completing a round presents a choice: cash out in the prize room to claim Legendary and Pearlescent world drops from the loot cannons, or risk everything by advancing to the next, tougher round.

Fallen co-op players enter a penalty box to spectate and actively support or troll teammates with special switches that deploy confetti, fecal waste, or elemental barrels. Additionally, spawning a Badass enemy directly into the arena provides an opportunity for immediate revival; if the remaining squad eliminates the threat, fallen Vault Hunters instantly rejoin the action.

Circle of Slaughter is designed to be a highly replayable experience, so players will have infinite chances to chase new loot and push their builds to try and make it all the way in one piece.

Looking ahead at the post-launch roadmap, even more massive drops are on the horizon. On July 30, Bounty Pack 4: Murders & Acquisitions arrives alongside the Version 1.9 update. PAX West 2026 will host gaming and pop culture fans from around the world over Labor Day weekend. Update 11 Brings New Features, Daily Progression Systems, Performance Improvements and More

June 25, 2025 – Attention, troopers! Offworld, in partnership with publisher Knights Peak, has released the next update for Starship Troopers: Extermination. From battlefield hygiene to a new career-defining service record system, Update 11 features new content additions, performance and optimizations improvements as well as bug fixes. Highlights of Starship Troopers: Extermination’s Update 11 include:

Field Showers

The Federation takes cleanliness very seriously! The Field Shower is a new buildable structure available for every Build Zone. Once constructed, the Field Shower provides Troopers with access to battlefield sanitation facilities. A shower will extinguish a burning Trooper, wash all blood, guts, and gore off their uniform, and provide a method of Health restoration. Completing the full duration Federation Standardized Shower will also provide Troopers with a combat performance boost. Troopers who have recently showered will move slightly faster, jump higher, climb better, shoot more accurately, and gain additional Morale Xp.

Daily Dispatches

Effective immediately, Troopers will receive a series of rotating Critical Dispatches designed to support the war effort and reward continued service to the Federation. Additionally, every deployment cycle, Troopers will receive a fresh set of Daily Dispatches generated by Fleet Command. Troopers can do one refresh of the missions list per 24-hours. Currently Command has 47 Critical Dispatches in rotation with more being added. Successful completion of Daily Missions will grant additional combat experience and contribute toward long-term DSV Service Record milestones.

DSV Service Record

The DSV Service Record System has been established to permanently document a Trooper’s military career and recognize exceptional contributions to the war effort. Every confirmed combat action, operational deployment, battlefield specialization, and successful mission contributes toward a growing Service Record reviewed by Federal Command.

As Service Record milestones are completed, Troopers will earn Career Experience, advancing their standing within the Mobile Infantry and demonstrating their commitment to humanity’s survival.
