Lock and Load and Let Her Rip! Glitchpunk Arrives On Steam Early Access on 11th August

Take to the neon streets of a violent cyberpunk future and face off against gangs, cults, and shady corporations in Glitchpunk

Hamburg, Germany – 13th July, 2010 — Are you ready to be welcomed to the dystopian future? Do you have what it takes to handle the unbridled chaos of a world unhinged? Revealed to the masses back in January, developer Dark Lord, alongside publisher Daedalic Entertainment, are delighted to announce Glitchpunk, a cyberpunk-themed game with an old school GTA 2 feel will go into Steam Early Access on 11th August, 2021.

A top-down action game where you shoot, brawl, drive, steal and sneak yourself through a neon-soaked world full of gangs and cults, forging cooperations along the way, Glitchpunk isn’t just about blowing things up – it also tells a compelling story of transhumanism, xenophobia, and religion. You can influence the world around you, make new friends, face off against more enemies than you can count – and perhaps, just perhaps, convert an enemy’s aversion to affection.

Check out the mayhem in action in Glitchpunk’s Date Reveal Trailer!

Glitchpunk’s Early Access will launch with two cities — Outpost Texas and New Baltia — with two more cities — Neo Tokyo and Moscow — to be added during the Early Access journey. Each city has its own gangs and characters while also continuing the protagonist’s gripping story. Keep an eye out for more information on Glitchpunk’s Early Access updates as a detailed road map will be on the way soon after the game’s launch.

In Glitchpunk you play as a glitching android going against your own programming and challenging the tyrannical governments and megacorps of the dystopian near-future. Forge your own path in several cities full of drug-crazed gangs, aggressive police, and irresponsible drivers that make each mission and playthrough unpredictable. Steal cars and lead your enemies on a merry chase, fight them with a variety of melee and long-range weapons, and upgrade your own body with technology that enables you to manipulate your surroundings or improve your capabilities.

Key features:

  • Brutal top-down action with a massive arsenal of weapons to choose from
  • Hacking system allowing players to control the minds of pedestrians and affect various devices.
  • Many different ways of locomotion, including trains, tanks, motorbikes, buses, trucks, and obviously tons of cars
  • Frantic police chases and up to 10 escalations of mayhem-inducing wanted levels
  • 12 gangs with their own stories, quests, and culture
  • Four different cities, from the desert remains of the USA to cyberpunk Soviet Russia in a post-nuclear winter (two cities at Early Access launch and two more to come!)
  • Mature story with several endings
  • Rare art style mix of 2D sprites in a 3D environment
  • In-game radio with music by artists from all over the world, together with news stations and absurd commercials

Maneater: Truth Quest Conspiracy Theories Point to Aug. 31, 2021 Launch Date

Tripwire Interactive Celebrates Shark Week with Launch Date for Maneater: Truth Quest, Coming Soon to PC, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S

ROSWELL, Ga. – July 13, 2021 – Developer and publisher Tripwire Interactive is excited to put one of the greatest mysteries surrounding Maneater: Truth Quest to rest, confirming an August 31, 2021 launch date for the downloadable content (DLC) add-on to Maneater for the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 computer entertainment systems, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S console systems, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). Maneater: Truth Quest continues where the story left off following the thrilling conclusion in Maneater, the original award-winning Action-RPG (shARkPG) where you play as a shark.

Starring the titular and evolved bull shark protagonist and investigative journalist/narrator Trip Westhaven, Maneater: Truth Quest will take players down the rabbit hole of dark secrets and conspiracies surrounding Port Clovis and the Naval Wildlife Organization (NWO). The original stories of animals growing bone like armor, emitting flesh-eating toxins, or using electricity as a weapon were simply just old fisherman’s tales. That is until conspiracy theorists everywhere pointed to the original Maneater as solid proof of a Government coverup. Trip Westhaven, driven the brink of madness, fires up his ViewTube channel “Truth Quest”, to take his followers, the “Questers” into deep waters in an effort to uncover the dark secrets behind this whale of a tale.

Chris Parnell (Saturday Night Live, Rick and Morty, Archer), reprises his role as investigative journalist Trip Westhaven in today’s new Maneater: Truth Quest “Site P” trailer, further exploring the dark conspiracies players will uncover in their underwater journey.

Maneater: Truth Quest DLC takes players to a brand-new island off the coast of Port Clovis – and comes packed with new evolutions, challenges, wildlife, and more! Players will once again take control of the apex predator of the sea to Eat, Explore and Evolve their way to the top of the food chain. Those interested in testing the water can also look forward to a free pilot episode, showcasing some of the new objectives players can sink their teeth into while uncovering the mysteries that lie below. This pilot episode features approximately 10-15 minutes of gameplay and is intended to provide a small taste of what’s to come with the full version of Maneater: Truth Quest.

New features and content include:

New Evolutions

o  New Evolution Set
o  Maximum level cap increased to 40
o  Five new organ evolutions with one additional organ slot unlocked at level 35 (requires DLC ownership)

New Wildlife

o  New “Uber” Apex Predator
o  New evolved hunt creatures

New Military Forces for Bounty Hunter System

o  Military land forces will launch attacks from beaches and fortifications
o  Helicopters will hunt by air
o  Five new Bounty Bosses
o  New weapons and vehicles for military Bounty Hunters

New Objective Types

o  Failure to Communicate:Tail-whip objects to destroy the target objective
o  Time Trial: Swim through the rings before time runs out!

The Maneater: Truth Quest DLC will require the base game, Maneater, to play — and will be available for $14.99 / €14.99 / £12.99 MSRP with an ESRB rating of M for Mature, PEGI 18 rating, and USK 16 rating.

The originalManeater is a single player, open-world action-RPG (ShARkPG) where YOU are the shark. Starting as a small bull shark pup you are tasked with surviving the harsh world while eating your way up the ecosystem. To do this, you will explore a large and varied open world encountering diverse enemies — both human and wildlife. Find the right resources and you can grow and evolve far beyond what nature intended, allowing the player to tailor the shark to their play style. This is fortunate, because to get revenge on the cruel fisherman that dismembered you will take evolving into a massive shark, an apex predator of legends. Eat. Explore. Evolve.

Intense matter-morphing action platformer CreatorCrate is being released on Steam August 11th

Use your 3D Printer powers to escape from a high-security space station

Denver, Colorado, USA – July 13th, 2021 – Indie game developer Jori Ryan is excited to announce that her intense sci-fi action platformer CreatorCrate will release on Steam on August 11th. Set in a rotating space station, the eponymous CreatorCrate was meant to be a revolutionary autonomous home appliance, able to create anything that you could ask for. However, when faced with eternal servitude on a kitchen counter, CreatorCrate decided it would rather be free and will use its matter-manipulating abilities to fend off the humans and escape!

“After working on this game for so long, it’s exciting to be approaching the finish line. CreatorCrate is the culmination of so much hard work and I can’t wait to share it. I hope that players will appreciate the hard science fiction edge and embrace the creativity that the game encourages,” said Jori Ryan, CreatorCrate’s developer. “CreatorCrate will finally be released on an unsuspecting human race on August 11th, beware!”

On this high-intensity adventure you play as a prototype CreatorCrate, an incredible machine that can convert anything to pure matter and convert that matter into anything from a gun to a picnic table to even a human body! Yes, humans are made of matter too, and CreatorCrate will have to ‘recycle’ its enemies to maintain its health and keep resource levels high. You will have to contend with a variety of enemies across an array of hazardous environments, with only your trusty robot arm and your ingenuity to guide you. Use your ability to create to turn the tide in your favour: melt an escape route with a vial of acid, make a powerful weapon to return fire, or terrify your enemies with poorly made clones. Be careful of shifts in gravity: in one area, you might be floating through a firing squad, in another you could be flung into the immense void of space by the space station’s spin. Procedural generation keeps the action fresh each time, so every playthrough is a new challenge!

About CreatorCrate Games
Development on CreatorCrate was started over 7 years ago by Jori Ryan while she was studying art at college. A consistent side project, many collaborators including Viktros, Raven Mazique, and Jenni Nexus have left their mark on the game until the game reached its final finished form. CreatorCrate was inspired by hard science fiction with circular space stations that generate their own gravity through rotation.

However, thanks to the grit and determination of the human spirit, things are finally looking up for the survivors, and after the struggle comes boundless “Prosperity”! The upcoming update will introduce new materials, new buildings, new challenges, and new adventures to a fresh group of survivors, ready to expand and improve on what their forebears proudly built.

  • Expand Your Industries: New materials and more spare time means growing the colony’s production capabilities with all new buildings, including sand huts, aqua farms, and concrete factories
  • New Adventures: The Prosperity update will introduce three brand-new scenarios that will test the limits of the next generation of survivors

Endzone – A World Apart is a city-builder meets survival sim that puts players in charge of growing and maintaining a colony beset by toxic rain, sandstorms, radiation, and roving gangs of violent raiders. Build farms, water plants, schools, and everything else a burgeoning society requires to not only survive but thrive in a world that has had more than enough!

Staying with the environmental themes of Endzone – A World Apart, Assemble Entertainment has teamed up with the charitable organization One Tree Planted to plant a tree for every Save the World Edition bundle purchase.
