Sydney, Australia – 4th June 2021: Ever wanted to take on the guise of an elderly person, head out onto the street and get steamrolled by traffic, electrocuted by a tram line, and fired high into the sky strapped to a rocket? Yes? Really? Well, you may want to talk to a professional about just why that is but, more importantly, Just Die Already just might be the game you’ve always dreamed of!

The ‘old aged pensioner playground’ is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on  17th September bringing its particular brand of multiplayer mayhem to gamers across the globe, whatever platform they’re playing on.

Just Die Already tells the tale of old folk who have just been kicked out of their retirement homes, competing with each other to secure a sweet spot somewhere new by performing dangerous challenges to qualify for free care. Players can either take on Just Die Already alone or compete in four-player online multiplayer, ticking off dangerous challenges that put your life – and, indeed, every atom of your being – in danger. 

Just Die Already will also sport a Player Versus Player mode, allowing players to pitch boomer against boomer, fighting for their lives! The new mode will allow players to compete against their other old friends, taking part in PvP battles across four brand new arenas. It’ll be the first free update of many, with further exciting Just Die Already updates planned for the rest of 2021 and beyond.

Australia, Thursday 3 June 2021: The Red Bull Campus Clutch knockout finals are on this weekend with Oceania – Australia and New Zealand – to be broadcast on June 5th at 9am (CEST) as university students battle it out for their spot in the prestigious world final in Madrid.

Red Bull Campus Clutch has seen students from more than 50 countries compete across National Qualifier and Final events, with National Finals Winners in regions such as Turkey and Canada securing a state-of-the-art gaming hub for their university. The winning teams of each country will face the next level of competition, an epic global World Final to determine the world’s best student VALORANT team.

The ground-breaking competition challenged players of all levels to team up in groups of five, represent their campus, and compete on the world stage to make history for their university and country. The online event also offered students the opportunity to showcase their skills in one of the hottest character-based tactical first-person shooters (FPS) for PC, where precise gunplay meets unique agent abilities, and understand what it takes to compete professionally.

The Australian National Finals winners took home the ultimate glory and title as Australia’s first Red Bull Campus Clutch victors, along with prizes up to the value of RRP $AU12,500 with each team member receiving an Intel NUC 11 Mini PC, AOC Monitor and SteelSeries peripheral pack.

The Australian winners were Ali Bakhtiari (Prophet) and Minzin Thein (Minzin) from RMIT, Matthew Asido from Chisholm TAFE, Viktor Myszko (Vik) from University of Melbourne and Luis Manfregola (OrangePearl) from Latrobe University. The team, formed about a month before the Australian qualifiers back earlier this year, only met for the first time after their nationals win on April 24. They agree they’re most excited for Oceania to be included on the world stage.

“Playing Internationally is so great, especially since regions like Australia are very undermined and undervalued worldwide. This gives us a good opportunity to represent our region with our individual skills,” says 18-year-old Minzin.


With high-level competition and the world watching, the World Final will give the competitors the chance to experience a professional esports tournament setting. This will be the first opportunity for many of the players to participate in an esports event of this size, competing against teams from across the globe in a live broadcast setting.

 The Red Bull Campus Clutch World Final is the pinnacle event of the global student esports tournament. Played out across two stages: the World Final Knockout Round will see National Final winning teams from over 50 countries compete online for a highly coveted placement at the World Final. The Knockout Round takes place online from June 3rd to 6th and will be available as a 24 hour livestream from June 5th. The 10 winning teams, along with the Spanish and US National Final Winners, will move on to the World Final, an epic two day event taking place in Madrid on July 17th and 18th. Both events will be available to watch live on Red Bull Twitch and YouTube.

National winners across the globe will compete in a World Finals with the team that emerges victorious securing €20,000. In addition, Riot Games, the creators of VALORANT are offering the Red Bull Campus Clutch World Final Winners an exclusive chance to see the biggest stars in VALORANT compete at the upcoming VALORANT Masters event, an official tournament within the 2021 Champions Tour.

The next season of MyTEAM for NBA® 2K21 on PlayStation4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia and PC is available today. The battle is on for the NBA Championship, and it’s no different in the new MyTEAM Season – “Trial of Champions.” This season, ballers will participate in the Game of Rings — an epic Triple Threat competition featuring six challengers in the NBA Playoffs where the top scoring NBA player will earn the entire community a guaranteed player locker code.

Season 8 – the Trial of Champions, is a six-week long season centred on the NBA Playoffs, featuring challengers and champions players will use to compete for challenges and rewards including: 

  • Begin the season with six special Trial of Champions cards of Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Donovan Mitchell, Ben Simmons, Jayson Tatum and Zion Williamson. Players should choose their challenger(s) carefully as the best performing cards in Triple Threat will earn the community rewards in Game of Rings;

June 4th, 2021 — Today, Ubisoft® announced more details about the latest edition of Ubisoft Forward which will be streamed live on June 13 at 5:00 AM AEST. The show, available to view on ubisoft.com/Forward, is part of this year’s digital E3 event, featuring a diverse content lineup including fan favorites, newly announced titles, and surprises.

The pre-show will debut at 4:00 AM AEST, with news and updates from live games such as For Honor®, Trackmania®, The Crew®2, Brawlhalla®, Watch Dogs® : Legion, and more from the teams at Ubisoft.

The main show, starting 5:00 AM AEST, will feature the next mainline entry in the Rainbow Six franchise, formerly known as Rainbow Six® Quarantine, with world premiere gameplay and trailers revealing this brand-new co-op title for the first time. SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – June 4, 2021 – Mattel, Inc. and Ubisoft announced a special DLC for the popular UNO video game in celebration of the 50th anniversary of UNO, the number one game in the world*. The DLC, available now, includes a premium deck, board, and rule.

The new UNO 50th Anniversary DLC introduces velvety black cards, a renovated black and gold board, a commemorative gold coin, and an exclusive 50/50 card. Whenever someone plays the special 50/50 card, the coin will be tossed to see who will have to draw four extra cards.

Based on the physical version of the card game, the UNO video game comes with several themes and DLCs that bring exclusive special cards for even more fun. Players can experience the icy board of the Winter theme, shake things up with the Rabbids, Rayman, and Just Dance 2017 DLC, or flip the whole game in the UNO FLIP!™ DLC. Most recently, the Fenyx’s Quest DLC, inspired by Immortals Fenyx Rising, added a fantastical twist to the classic UNO experience with new features based on the most iconic elements of the Golden Isle.

The 50th anniversary DLC is now available to purchase individually on PlayStation®4, Xbox One consoles, Nintendo Switch™ system, Windows PC, and Stadia for AUD$4.49, and will be playable on PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility.
