Discover the Soundtrack and Art Book from the Last Story on Earth

Games and developer PolyAmorous are very pleased to share materials from the alternate history world of Paradise Lost on Steam, GOG, and the PlayStation Store. Take a peek behind the scenes to discover the details and inspiration behind the development of the last story on Earth in a new 30 page art book. Listen to the soundtrack from the game, composed by Magdalena Urbańska, and descend into the bunker once more.

The art book is now available for free on Steam and GOG for all owners of the game. The soundtrack is also available for free on the PS Store, Steam, and GOG for game owners, or sold separately for $4.99.

In addition, Paradise Lost is now 34% off on the PS Store (until June 18), Steam (until June 23), and GOG (until June 28).

If You Build It, They Will Scream! Hell Architect Prologue Now Available to Download via Steam

Get hands on with Leonardo Interactive’s upcoming survival-sim and learn the skills needed to become your own architect of hell

Rome, Italy – 9th June 2021. Publisher Leonardo Interactive and developer Woodland Games are giving fans of survival-sim games the chance to get some hands-on time with their upcoming PC game Hell Architect. Fans who are looking to embrace their darker side can now download the Hell Architect Prologue directly from the Steam page for free and start crafting their own hell to satisfy not only the sinners who drop in but the big boss himself, Lucifer. 

The Prologue will guide players through the basics of designing and building their very own hell in the comprehensive tutorial, before unleashing them into the Prologue scenario where they can put all their new found skills to the test. If that’s not enough, there is a sandbox mode available where you can research and construct evermore intricate rooms and put your sinners to work harvesting materials to build your torture devices! Expect dark humour and gory themes aplenty!

In Hell Architect you’re playing as, you guessed it, an architect of Hell. Your task here is to craft new prisons for the lost souls and sinners who have found themselves ‘downstairs’. Just like all good (or bad) big corporations, Hell is a tightly run ship and under the watchful eye of Lilith from the HR department, you must devise the most creative ways to squeeze as much suffering as you can out of the sinners who will be spending eternity in this hot spot. That’s not all. To climb down the corporate ladder, you must gain the approval of the greatest and most feared devils in Hell, including the head honcho, Lucifer himself, as they evaluate your hard work as well as your sense of aesthetics and thriftiness! 

You will have a host of options available to start crafting your own Hell. All the lost souls who arrive through the gates have their own abilities and traits so put them to work harvesting resources and doing the grunt work while you concentrate on researching buildings to make sure their stay in Hell is as ‘comfortable’ as possible. From toilets and canteens to shrines and demonic conference rooms, your Hell must be ready to accept more lost souls and demon VIPs who will continue to drop into your domain, all requiring your attention in many different ways. Remember, the more souls that arrive, the more demands placed upon your resources, so make sure to manage your workers and continue to expand your empire to impress the boss. And don’t forget, if any of your workers step out of line you have the tools at your disposal to whip them back into shape. Literally. 

Features of Hell Architect

  • Create the Hell of your dreams: Flex your creative muscles to design, build and furnish 9 infamous levels of Hell in the single player campaign mode, or spend a hellish eternity designing your own chaotic masterpiece from scratch in sandbox mode.
  • If you build it, they will suffer!: Begin with basic buildings like power stations (yup they need those in Hell too!) and canteens for your hungry workers and expand your empire to include shrines and intricate torture contraptions to increase the level of suffering for your weary residents. 
  • Management is key: Harvesting resources, building an infrastructure and expanding your Hell will be key in your success. A constant stream of new lost souls will provide more hands to use, but will require managing to keep them working. 
  • Crack the whip: Treat the sinners sent to your humble abode to different fun (or not so fun) sources of suffering, be it punishing them for disobedience or just for fun. Your Hell, your choices. 
  • Hell never looked so good: The stylish 2D art style perfectly blends with the brutal, gorey themes and is topped off with outstanding dark humour.
  • Guest appearances: Play as Legendary Characters, a motley crew of history’s most despicable sinners who drop into your domain, each possessing special abilities to help build your devilish masterpiece.

FARMING SIMULATOR 22 COLLECTOR’S EDITION, PRODUCTION CHAINS AND US MAP REVEALED

Farming Simulator 22 releases this year – limited Collector’s Edition available soon! The game, self-published by developer and publisher GIANTS Software, will come to PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Stadia in Q4 2021.

In limited quantity, the PC version will be available as a stylish Collector’s Edition including a branded, high-quality beacon light. Players operating heavy machinery can enjoy the illuminating orange light as it turns on in real-time corresponding to the vehicles’ beacon light in-game. Also included in the Collector’s Edition are two posters, 24 brand stickers, and updated modding tutorials. Depending on the region, fans can enjoy a Massey Ferguson 8S, Fendt 900 Vario, Case IH Magnum 340 or Zetor Crystal on the cover of the standard edition.

Bread and butter: Production chains expand farming operations
A new economic layer is added to Farming Simulator 22 by introducing production chains. Players can deliver their harvested crops to various shops and businesses for processing. The grain mill, for example, can now produce flour to be delivered to the bakery, starting a lucrative chain of production resulting in fine bread or delicious cake.

Depending on the goods the players want to produce, they must provide the respective factory with multiple resources, like butter or sugar, first. After the production of sellable goods, players are able to further distribute them to points of sale like the supermarket. While some are already present, the players can also build them themselves to expand their operations.

Wide open spaces and landmarks: US map offers vast open space to build farms
Farming Simulator 22 includes two new maps plus an updated alpine Erlengrat map. Inspired by the US Midwest region, the now revealed Elmcreek offers players large fields and vast open space to build their farms on. Virtual farmers can look forward to numerous fields with varying shapes and sizes, authentically embedded in a scenic US landscape.

The authentic rural setting features rivers and underpasses in hilly areas, a gushing waterfall and a proper highway surrounded by a baseball stadium, huge grain silos, a gas station and other buildings shaping the skyline visible from the players’ expanding farmlands.

Demand for GeForce NOW in Australia exceeds expectations as Pentanet announces innovative Beta program and October 2021 launch.

Perth, Western Australia – June 9, 2021 – Pentanet, one of the fastest growing Internet Service Providers in Australia, tonight announced a three-stage roll-out plan for the highly anticipated GeForce NOW™ Powered by Pentanet cloud gaming service in Australia.

In summary, there are three major phases in the testing and roll-out of GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet in Australia: Beta Quests, Beta Play and National Release.

Larger than just a beta access portal, Pentanet has developed CloudGG – an entire gamified experience that allows for the best possible capture of Beta data to improve the experience in Australia:

1.    Beta Quests: Earn XP, Win Prizes, Level Up Towards Beta Play

Through the CloudGG portal, you’ll be able to complete Quests, earn XP, and level up as steps towards the Beta Play program. With timed release of new Quests regularly, users can level up, earn XP, badges, achievements, and win weekly prizes.

To be selected, Pentanet are looking for a diverse group of Beta testers who have been highly engaged in the Beta Quests – people most interested in helping Pentanet build the future. XP will be important to gain and collect for major steps towards Beta Play. 

After reviewing and ranking XP, Pentanet will check through the results of the Beta Quests. The goal will be to on-board a diverse group of testers across many tech specs, internet services, devices and locations. A series of channels and groups will be rolled out to capture user experience data throughout the hands-on Beta Play program.

Beta Play is targeting September 2021 for roll-out. 

3.    National Release: You’re in!

Once Pentanet is satisfied the service can roll out in line with the global standard of gaming, the national release will go live. Priority access will be given to Beta Testers, Pentanet internet subscribers, and active Cloud.GG users. This is where the importance of XP will become apparent, with early supporters being rewarded for their ongoing support of Pentanet.

Pentanet and NVIDIA look forward to launching GeForce NOW in Australia in October 2021. More details surrounding the official launch will be revealed in the coming months.

As Pentanet’s Cornish explains, the staged Beta program has been designed to gather as much data as possible on infrastructure demand and user experience. “We’re building a service we ourselves would play, and believe that a staged approach of adding new testers and users over time will allow us to build a service that we as gamers are proud of,” he said.

Doug Cockle Stars in New Trailer + Demo for Sacred Fire – Psychological RPG Coming to Steam Next Fest

Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer Poetic Studio are excited to be taking part in Steam Next Fest 2021 on Wednesday June 16th with their anticipated Psychological RPG Sacred Fire.

The game will launch its first public demo during the event, alongside a new trailer that has been revealed today featuring Doug Cockle, voice of Geralt in the Witcher franchise.

In Sacred Fire, you’re cast as a refugee hunted by Rome, your actions compromised by fear and rage. Build up your willpower to control story choices and master battle tactics. Outsmart opponents and gain allies. Wage war or strive for peace. End up a hero or an outcast.

The demo features the first chapter of the story, which plays differently when you select a male or female protagonist. Writer Jennie Kong contributed to Sacred Fire’s story to create nuanced but meaningful differences between the two perspectives. The demo features Doug Cockle, Michelle Gonzo, and Ben Britton as important story NPCs.

Alongside the demo, Poetic Studio have announced that Sacred Fire will first come to Steam Early Access in Fall 2021. The first of three acts will be available on Early Access launch, with the other two being added as major free updates. Poetic aims to involve the community in the development of the game, fleshing out the story while incorporating feedback.

PORTLAND, JUNE 8th, 2021 –  Just announced by Panic during their Playdate Update: Playdate will be available for pre-order this July for $179 USD. The exact date will come soon and there will be at least a week’s warning before pre-orders open up. Plus, the first units are expected to begin shipping later this year. 

“The sooner you order, the sooner you’ll get one, but we’re not going to close the door on you,” said Cabel Sasser in the first Playdate Update. “Hopefully it’s a pleasant experience. Although surely something will go wrong, so thanks in advance for your patience with whatever that thing is.”

Playdate Stereo Dock // Announced at Playdate Update

Panic also introduced the Playdate Stereo Dock, the first Playdate accessory. It’s a lovely way to store and charge your Playdate when not in use, a Bluetooth stereo speaker and, unexpectedly, can hold your pens. (It will include a pen.) Pricing and availability on the Playdate Stereo Dock is not yet available.

Along with pre-order information and a release window, the Playdate Update also revealed 21 out of the 24 exciting games included with Playdate as part of the Season One lineup (that’s double the amount of Season One games previously announced), new development partnerships for Playdate software and games, and more.

Playdate encourages developers to experiment with new ideas for play (and access to an analog crank, of course, should they want to use it), a sentiment fully on display in the 24 titles that make up Playdate’s Season One of games. The details of most of the games will be kept secret until they show up on the device! Playdate owners will receive two games per week for 12 weeks.
