TennoCon 2021’s penultimate moments tookWarframe down a historical path during TennoLive, the conventions flagship keynote, where an in-game Relay event destroyed former concurrent player records to set a new all-time high record. Warframe secured the #1 chart position on Twitch for the day and reached the Top-Ten Global Twitter Trending category. The live broadcast featured a highly anticipated gameplay world reveal of upcoming content from Warframe’s The New War expansion in a 30 minute live demo, drawing more than 540,000 concurrent viewers and making it the most watched Warframe stream of all-time. Warframe is currently the only Twitch Video Game Channel to achieve placement on Twitch’s Top-Five Highest Concurrent Viewership Streams of 2021.

Additionally, a work-in-progress functional demo of Cross Play, Cross Save, and Warframe on mobile was showcased.  Release dates to be revealed at a later time.

Hello, my name is Stefan Marcinek.

I co-founded Kalypso Media, left there a few years ago and founded Assemble Entertainment in 2016. We are an independent publisher and developer of computer and video games and organizer of the GDD GermanDevDays, a German-speaking developer conference.

I was born on April 01, 1977 – an April Fool’s joke that provided me with an uuuunbelievably amusing childhood – and I’ve been in the games industry since the late 1990s.

I get to work in an industry that is truly open-minded. An industry that accepts everyone just as he or she is. Which – in my opinion – represents the truly right values – both externally and internally, an industry with its heart in the right place.

I have been in a committed relationship since 2000 and happily (depending on whom you ask ^^) married since May 2019 (my husband is two years older than me).

I enjoy – even if I rarely get to play myself – computer and video games. Another thing I really enjoy, although I unfortunately have even less opportunity to get out and do so, is geocaching. I like Formula 1 races and pets. A dog would be great at some point but, back in the day, it was unanimously decided that we would get a cat. Talis is now 17 years old.

What I do not like are idiots or, to put it more bluntly, contemptible defecatory orifices!

If you are one of those people who can’t accept others because they don’t fit your worldview, because they are gay, lesbian, bi, trans or queer, who considers people with a different skin color, religion or ancestry than your own to be foreign or abnormal, who can’t stand them or even insults them, in what way ever, or who is incapable of respecting women and is violent; who votes for “parties” that are disgusting and inhuman, supports them, sympathizes with them or is active as a politician for them (yes, I’m referring especially to the AfD in Germany), then I want to make this perfectly clear:

I don’t want you as a customer!

I don’t want to see you at our events or conferences. Neither as a visitor nor as a speaker!

I don’t want to have anything at all to do with you!

If you are one of those people and are about to buy one of our games: Don’t!

If you bought one of our games and can still return it: Do so!

And if you are one of those experts who think “Then you’ll sell fewer games”, let me tell you a little secret: You are not the center of this universe or our bank balance. There are more than seven billion people in this world and therefore enough customers with their hearts in the right place and who are not just contemptible fecal defecatory orifices!

I am well aware of how harshly this statement may be received by some and that some may feel affronted, even though the statement may not be directed at them personally. However, I would like to use this statement to make perfectly clear how important moral and ethical values are to me in the management of my company – and how these should also be communicated to the outside world. Namely, openly and transparently – but, of course, also with the awareness that not everyone will like it. I would like to thank all our supporters, fans and all those who buy our games, play them and – even if not always – love them.

Elio is the old lighthouse keeper who, every morning, with the help of the 20 sparks he retrieved the night before from the 20 regions of Italy, lights up the sun that will shine bright over the country. The game starts at sunset, Elio – a reference to Helios, the sun god of ancient Greek mythology – is looking for an assistant who can help him complete his arduous task. He has summoned a mysterious character outside the lighthouse: the player, who is drawn into a night adventure around Italy to retrieve 20 sparks, light up the lighthouse and ensure the sun shines again.

During their journey, the players will meet five Guardians, who will guide them to discover Nature, Cuisine, Art, Performance and Design, the five main sectors of the Italian cultural heritage. At the end of the journey, a huge surprise awaits the players: they will take Elio’s place, symbolically becoming the new Lighthouse Keepers, with a mission to protect the country’s treasures. First, however, they will need to pass no less than 100 puzzle game levels, each one featuring a 3D reconstruction of an iconic Italian landmark, in a truly engaging journey to discover, step by step, the coast and mountains, cities and castles, traditions and myths of the country. Created for those already acquainted with Italy, as well as those who are not and want to learn more – while improving their grasp of the language –, ITALY. Land of Wonders can also serve as a travel guide, thanks to a collection of 600 articles filled with stories, news and fun facts.

World of Warships: Legends celebrates 2 year anniversary

World of Warships: Legends celebrates two year anniversary with boatload of content

23 July  – A summer festival to celebrate World of Warships’ Legends second birthday kicks off from 26 July, with a new campaign, Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova- collaboration and a retrospective Bureau project, uniting the whole variety of activities with its flavour and bringing free in-game goods for the players as a gift. Plus, Arms Race and Tier VII ships are coming to Ranked mode as USN alternate battleships headlined by Kansas leave early access to become researchable.

One of the main attractions of the Anniversary Festival, is a fresh new campaign “Shock and Awe” and is focused on German destroyer ZF-6. 100. T milestones, which within five weeks provide the path to a flurry of rewards with the ship herself as the cherry on top, obtainable with Admiralty Backing. Coming with almost cruiser-like impressive AA suite including a consumable, ZF-6 features torpedoes faster than those of her peers with a drawback of slightly decreased range. 

Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova- goods arrive to the store with a selection of items to choose from as a surprise appearance at the Summer Festival. This collaboration brings two new Kongō-based battleships: Haruna and Kirishima, five diverse commanders and more, available through special crates.

Another festival activity, the special Birthday Bureau project, goes back to the significant landmarks of Year II, including events such as Halloween, New Year, Black Friday, and introduction of Italian ships, among others. Players will be awarded with corresponding festive crates at each project stage.

Heading to the high seas with their guns bristling are USN Battleships Nevada, Tennessee and North Carolina which leave early access to become researchable in the tech tree on the way to Tier VII Kansas. Just in time to wreak havoc on the opponents: Arms Race mechanic is coming to Ranked after being battle-tested by the latest Arena season to make the celebrations even more fun. At the same time, Tier VII ships reinforce the Ranked battles line-up for the first time ever. Additionally, historical camouflages for a handful of signature ships (such as Bismarck, Charles Martel and Lexington) become available for paint.

More good things destroyer players can look forward to this summer – Regia Marina gets two dedicated destroyer commanders: Luigi Rizzo and Giuseppe Fulgosi. The former is all about speed, including base trait that improves Engine Boost. The latter is a sneaky one: improving Smoke Generator consumable is his signature move. Capping off the Italian part of the summer is all-new Paolo Emilio, a destroyer obtainable for global XP.
