Bring a glimmer of hope to humanity on the brink of extinction. 2Dynamic Games and Star Drifters present a jointly developed subterranean survival shooter, Lumencraft

A top-down shooter blending the elements of survival and tower defense genres, Lumencraft, has a demo slated for October 1, 2021. It is the first production by 2Dynamic Games, a Polish studio which has just started collaborating with Star Drifters, an independent Polish developer and publisher. Early Access is planned in the following months.

Lumencraft is the first production by 2Dynamic Games, a Polish studio based in Cracow. You can find strands of Alien Breed in its DNA, as well as nods to Darkwood, but with a tactical and survival spin to it. The gameplay mechanics allow players to dig through hostile subterranean surroundings and the original game engine facilitates an unprecedented level of environment interaction, along with fully destructible terrain and dynamic lighting system. 

The game is produced in cooperation with Star Drifters, a company responsible for Driftland: The Magic Revival, a highly successful title with over 300,000 copies sold, as well as Danger Scavenger – one of the highest rated games for Atari VCS.

The game’s description:

The year is 2221. The planet’s surface became uninhabitable over a century ago. Today the remains of humanity struggle to survive without electricity and light. Dreams of a better future had withered a long time ago, but a recently discovered mineral brought a spark of hope. Lumen, a crystal of high energy potency, can be the last chance for the struggling civilization. This mineral can drastically increase humanity’s odds of survival. 

A team of Scouts, highly specialized miners, has ventured deep below the ground. It’s almost impossible to survive there. They established a settlement near the estimated deposits of Lumen. Their mission objective is seemingly simple: excavate and collect the precious mineral. However, getting back with it to the surface alive is another story altogether. What to expect from the game:

Lumencraft will debut on Steam Next Festival on October 1, 2021 in the form of a playable demo, which will be followed by a Steam Early Access launch in the coming months.

The game will also be displayed on EGX in London between October 7-10, 2021. Lumencraft is set to be released on PC first, but other platforms are also considered.

SOEDESCO moves Truck Driver ‘Heading North’ DLC to a later date

Recent update leads to unexpected technical issues

Rotterdam, The Netherlands – 22 September 2021 – Today, SOEDESCO has come to the decision to release Truck Driver’s upcoming DLC ‘Heading North’ to a later date. As a result of the recent update v1.33, the game currently faces technical issues. This has resulted to the DLC being moved to a later date so that SOEDESCO can continue to fix the current issues.

As announced in their social media channels, here’s what SOEDESCO has to say about the delay:

“Dear Truckers,

Originally, the DLC ‘Heading North’ was supposed to launch on September 14th. Due to the DLC itself not being fully polished, we postponed its launch to September 30th.

While this date is nearing, another unexpected technical issues due to update v.133 is causing us to postpone it. As soon as these merging issues are resolved, we can set a new date, but since we don’t want to postpone it yet again, we do not have a firm date at the moment.

Once again, we are truly sorry for the inconvenience. We have come to the decision to release the DLC to a later date so we can deliver the best gaming experience to everyone. This was, and always will be, our mission – and we are committed to keeping our word.

We want to truly thank all of you for your patience and constant support. Rest assured, our team will continue to work hard and focus on fixing these issues.

Until then, there will be more Heading North content coming your way, so stay tuned!

Grand Fantasia’s Patch 35: Ultimate Force includes: 

  • Unlimited Power!: Once players reach level 100, they’ll unlock a new Specialization Skill Type. Players that invest a specified amount of specialization points can upgrade the level of specialization skills and gain their full potential.

Gothenburg, Sweden – September 22nd, 2021 – Thunderful Publishing & Carry Castle have revealed that Source of Madness, their new roguelite action RPG, is available to play now on Steam® Early Access for $16.99 / €16.99 / £13.99. With ever-changing landscapes to explore and new monstrosities to face on every run, this Lovecraftian odyssey offers a truly unique spin on the genre.

Source of Madness is a side-scrolling dark action roguelite set in a twisted Lovecraftian inspired world powered by procedural generation and AI machine learning. Take on the role of a new Acolyte as they embark on a nightmarish odyssey. Uncover the cosmic secrets of the Loam Lands and The Tower of Madness, the moon’s mysterious Citadel.

The Early Access release for Source of Madness is titled At the Tower Madness and includes the complete first Act of the game. This includes 5 biomes to explore; the Prologue area, the Loam Land, the Cave of Lost Souls, the Forest of Lies and The Moon. Players have 2 classes to choose from; Pyromancer and Generalist. All in! Games Announces Arcade Warplane Shooter, Red Wings: American Aces, with Online Multiplayer

The star-spangled spin-off to Red Wings: Aces of the Sky will include multiple online multiplayer game modes as well as local co-op, PvP, and solo modes.

Krakow, Poland —  September 22, 2021 — Publisher All in! Games is thrilled to announce Red Wings: American Aces, a spin-off of their previously developed in-house warplane arcade shooter, Red Wings: Aces of the Sky. Red Wings: American Aces is slated for release on PC and Nintendo Switch and will include online multiplayer modes for up to 10 players as well as local co-op, PvP, and solo modes.

Red Wings: American Aces puts you in the pilot’s seat of a nostalgic, action-packed arcade shooter illustrated in a vibrant comic-book style with a gaming mode for every occasion. Do you believe in the strength of the squadron? Choose a map and game mode and gather your pilots to play in a team of up to five players against other squads in online multiplayer. Prefer flying solo and plucking others out of the sky? Compete with up to nine other pilots and fly to the top of the scoreboard. Local co-op is available for smaller fighter groups of one or two pilots for a more ace-to-ace experience in various customizable game modes, including a campaign mode with 30 missions.
