Several major rock hits and in-game mentor Satchel from Steel Panther revealed today

September 24, 2021 – Vertigo Games, the VR specialist publishing and development arm of the global Koch Media Group, today announced that the VR music game Unplugged is coming to Oculus Quest on October 21, with a PC VR* release to follow later this year (*hand-tracking enabled hardware only). In addition to the release date, Vertigo Games also announced several major rock hits featured in the game that players will be rocking out to when the game launches.

Accompanying the news, Vertigo Games released a brand-new trailer revealing none other than the inimitable Satchel from the rock band Steel Panther as your mentor for the game. Watch it here

SECOND CHAPTER OF ‘RAGNAROK, fate of the gods’ NOW LIVE IN NETMARBLE’S THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS: GRAND CROSS

New Heroes [Battlefield Guardian] Princess Brunhild and [Blessing of the Earth] Diane Now Available to Collect

LOS ANGELES – SEPT. 23, 2021 – Starting today, Second Chapter of ‘Ragnarok, fate of the gods.’- the continuation of Netmarble’s wholly-original story made exclusively for the cinematic adventure role-playing game (RPG) The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross – is now live. The new update introduces additional story content, a new Player vs. Environment (PvE) mode, new Heroes, and special events to experience.

The Second Chapter of ‘Ragnarok, fate of the gods’, expands the fan-favorite lore of [The Seven Deadly Sins] which saw Meliodas and [The Seven Deadly Sins] transported to the world of Midgard, a new world inspired by Nordic Mythology. Ragnarok’s 2nd chapter delivers enough story content that is equivalent to 24 episodes of [The Seven Deadly Sins]anime. To commemorate the new update, two new characters – [Battlefield Guardian] Princess Brunhild and [Ragnarok] Blessing of the Earth Diane – have been added to the game and can be collected in the Ragnarok Pickup Banner.

Today’s update also introduces the new PvE mode Demonic Beast Battle. This mode will have players team up to challenge a series of floors. Each floor runs with several phases, and players will need to clear all phases to advance to the next floor and defeat each boss. The boss will feature a random passive skill at certain phases, with subsequent bosses per each floor accumulating passive skills from previous-defeated bosses. Also, the HP of allies will be maintained throughout the whole challenge, and players are required to clear the stage with various strategies. By combatting the demonic beast, players can craft “Holy Relic” with items only earned through Demonic Beast Battle, with more to come in future updates. Once equipped, Holy Relic can further enhance characters with powerful effects to combat enemy threats.

Other content coming to The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, including various events where players can acquire growth materials,include:

  • Roulette Event – Collect various growth items with the new Ragnarok-themed Roulette
  • Tower of Trials – Floors 10-12 have been added

The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross translates the storytelling and adventures of [The Seven Deadly Sins] into a highly engaging and entertaining mobile gaming experience, featuring stunning, high-resolution 3D graphics, with more than 150 characters, 200 costumes, and 200 dramatic cutscenes. The game is brought to life with the cast of the original Japanese voice actors reprising their characters. Since its launch in March 2020, the game surpassed 30 million cumulative downloads in a year across the world.

Senior Gameplay Director Patrick Fortier discusses how players can lead their team of intergalactic misfits

London, UK (September 23, 2021) – Today, Eidos-Montréal released two new videos for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, each featuring insights directly from Senior Gameplay Director Patrick Fortier. In the first video, Fortier hones in on how the Guardians synergize in battle, while the second focuses on how players can lead the Guardians outside of it.

Just as they all have their own distinct personalities out of combat, each Guardian similarly boasts their own unique specialties and abilities on the battlefield, with their strategic management proving paramount for players hoping to take down the vast array of different enemies they’ll encounter while adventuring through the cosmos. Rocket serves as the group’s multi-target explosive specialist, Groot as its protector and healer, Drax as its staggering wrecking ball, Gamora as its high-damage single-target assassin, and Star-Lord as, of course, its versatile “so-called” leader.

In Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, players won’t only have the opportunity to lead the Guardians in combat. Gaijin Entertainment and Yadon Studio announce that the experimental survival horror Shadows of Kurgansk previously available on PC is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. The console remaster features improved graphics and user interface as well as other enhancements based on the PC version user feedback.

Shadows of Kurgansk transports players into a dark and hostile environment simply called “The Zone”, it challenges them to escape from the haunted area both alive and with their sanity intact. Wild beasts, zombies, mutants and a few surviving humans roam the ruins of civilization, while players gather mushrooms and berries, hunt animals, craft weapons and gear, build shelters and break into secret government bunkers. While it’s important to stay safe, staying sane is also quite a challenge as the Zone anomalies play tricks with human minds. Shadows of Kurgansk features two story campaigns focused on uncovering the Zone’s secrets, while Adventure and Survival modes allow you to explore the Zone freely and improvise.

All console versions of Shadows of Kurgansk feature 60 FPS refresh rate, and PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One X, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players will get a 4K resolution as well. “The Mad Virus” came out of nowhere and spread throughout the world at breakneck speed. Most people were lucky – it caused their hearts to stop, and just like that, they were gone and didn’t have to worry about what the world would turn into after all hell broke loose. Others were less fortunate, losing control over themselves once infected and becoming aggressive toward just about everything. As a result, it didn’t take long for entire societies to collapse, followed by evacuated cities and deficiencies in essential resources like electricity, water, and food. Yet, the truly doomed are neither the dead nor infected but the ones who’ve survived. The ones like you, forced to live on and try to rebuild whatever is left of the civilization we once knew.

Infection Free Zone is a base-building, city rebuilder strategy game set in a post-apocalyptic world of the future. Become an apocalypse survivor. Take the lead of a group of those still alive and mentally healthy from your city and try to establish a new “Infection Free Zone” that will allow you to make it through the night. Scavenge for resources, fight the infected, and defend your base from other survivors’ attacks. Consider anything and everything that might increase your chances of living and rebuilding the world as you knew it.

INFECTION FREE ZONE – MAIN FEATURES

  • Rebuild any REAL CITY in the world. Use OpenStreetMap’s real-world data and choose any city in the world in which to play. Set up shelters and production facilities. Adapt existing buildings to new needs. Build farms and powerplants, and don’t forget to establish defenses with walls, gates, and towers.
  • Scavenge for resources. Make good use of your knowledge of the city and find the best place to defend your base. Remember where the grocery stores and pharmacies were. Figure out where to find weapons. Keep in mind that old, devastated buildings might be filled with resources but also the infected lurking in the dark. So, if you decide to explore the ruins, you’d better be well-prepared.
  • Fight the infected. Prepare for large hordes of enemies attacking your base every night. Fight them off with every tool available – melee and ranged weapons, vehicles, walls, and even light sources. Choose to research a vaccine or cure that will stop the virus from spreading and ensure your ultimate victory, or simply enjoy rebuilding entire cities.
  • Protect your base from the living. Remember that your zone is not the only one that exists out there. And, while some other groups of people who survived may be friendly, willing to help, and trade with you, others may turn out to be as hostile as the infected.

Infection Free Zone is now live on Kickstarter. The game is being developed by Jutsu Games and will be published by Games Operators on PC in early 2023. Kickstarter backers will be able to play the beta version of the game in Q1 2022.
