Japanese-Inspired Terrors Arrives on PC PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, & Nintendo Switch in Late 2022; Steam Early Access Q2 2022

TOKYO – Dec. 2, 2021 – Paranormal Hunter, the co-op survival horror game set in haunted locations full of malevolent spirits from EALoGAMES, will petrify ghost hunters on Windows PC via Steam Early Access in Q2 2022, as revealed during the UploadVR Showcase. Paranormal Hunter will launch with full keyboard and mouse, and VR support Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality. PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch versions will torment consoles alongside the simultaneous PC 1.0 release in late 2022.

Explore notorious haunted locations alone or with up to four players in online co-op. Conduct paranormal investigations in dilapidated homes, long-abandoned hospitals, and other ominous sites. Scour each scene for key objects and clues to summon the dark spirits refusing to move on while learning about each location’s tragic history, then banish each ghost before their dark energy spreads and consumes unfortunate souls.

Encounter terrifying spirits inspired by Japanese folklore and horror cinema. Avoid otherworldly pursuers, momentarily repelling ghosts with UV light blasts. Creep through twisting stages full of locked doors and blocked passages, moving cautiously to maintain precious sanity and survive to see the morning. Use the rewards from successful hunts to purchase additional equipment.

Dive into an immersive experience crafted to create moments of soul-shaking horror for solo and cooperative sessions. VR users can make use of a diegetic UI, with health and sanity meters represented via an in-game watch for an added atmosphere of authenticity. Engage in crossplay with both VR and standard keyboard and mouse players for a tailored and inclusive co-op ghost-hunting experience across all input methods.

Hertfordshire, 2^nd December 2021 – Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer GUST Studios introduced new characters and scenarios for their heart-warming JRPG, Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream. The newest entry in the adored Atelier series is scheduled to release across Europe on February 25th, 2022 for the Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4 Computer Entertainment System, and Windows PC via Steam®.

In Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream, Sophie uses the town of Roytale – the only town in Erde Wiege – as a base of operations as she searches for her missing friend Plachta. When she arrives in Roytale, Sophie will befriend Kati, the owner of the Crystal Sparkle Pavilion, her kind-hearted employee Gnome, as well as Pirka, owner of Pirka’s Emporium, and these eccentric characters quickly offer her their services.

At the Crystal Sparkle Pavilion, Sophie will be able to accept a wide range of requests from the local townspeople, and through completing these requests, she will earn rewards and raise her reputation. As her reputation increases, Kati will offer advancement quests that, once successfully completed, will increase her Adventurer Grade – allowing her to take on more challenging requests with greater rewards. On the other hand, Pirka’s Emporium is a unique shop that can replenish and duplicate items – both important services for alchemists to utilise alongside synthesis.

As Sophie progresses through her journey in Atelier Sophie 2, scenarios will unlock for a variety of characters in Erde Wiege. Through these events, players will be able to learn of each character’s goals and dreams, as well as raise their friendship level with the character – leading to new skills being unlocked. Each character has their own unique scenarios: Alette dreams of getting rich quickly so she asks Sophie to help her learn alchemy, whereas Ramizel feels like she isn’t able to live up to everyone’s high expectations. Can Sophie help Ramizel find the success she’s looking for?

To celebrate Sophie’s latest adventure, KOEI TECMO Europe revealed that those who purchase the game physically on its first-run will receive a special reversible coversheet for their game and a bonus poster with exclusive artwork by NOCO! Trailer gives guided tour of SteamWorld veterans’ first foray into 3D coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One & PC

Gothenburg, Sweden – December 2nd, 2021 – Thunderful are pleased to unveil a new trailer for anticipated story-driven sci-fi exploration title The Gunk where lead star Fiona Nova gives us a guided introduction to the game’s compelling world. This new game from the team behind the SteamWorld series will be released for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC on December 16th, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one.

In the new trailer, Fiona Nova, voice of protagonist Rani, introduces us to the game’s compelling characters and spectacular alien world. Rani and her partner Becks are a space hauling duo mining the galaxy for whatever resources they can sell to make ends meet. When they come across a seemingly barren planet infested with a strange undiscovered substance they call “the gunk”, they wonder if they might be in for a big payout.

The Gunk has a big emphasis on exploration with a wondrous and diverse alien world to discover featuring biomes ranging from rocky canyons, to dense jungles, to deep subterranean caves (this is the team behind SteamWorld after all) and a few more surprises. The gunk is turning all of these zones barren, but as you remove it using Rani’s upgradable goo-sucking power-glove, you’ll discover a flourishing ecosystem seemingly suppressed by this mysterious and destructive gunk.

The intriguing questions of what the gunk is, how it got here and what kind of world existed prior to its arrival can be uncovered as you explore. Perhaps the gunk has something to do with the ruins of an ancient civilization that appears to be long gone? Scanning the environment to make new discoveries and learn more about the world will fill out your findings in a logbook. Players who dig into these entries might just find some clues as to what happened here!

2K today revealed an in-depth look at Season 3 coming to NBA® 2K22 this Friday. Experience the all-new Clutch Time mode in MyTEAM, along with new music added to the soundtrack in partnership with Def Jam Recordings – including “Lose My Cool,” the brand new track from 070 Shake featuring NLE Choppa – and lots of new content and seasonal updates across MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and The W* modes.

NBA 2K22 Season 3: ‘Iced Out’ focuses on the clutch gene, showcasing Damian Lillard’s ability to be unfazed by any situation and burying the competition with some of the coldest game-winning shots in NBA history. In Season 3, players will be able to channel their inner Dame and experience the following:

• MyCAREER will bring players to the Rooftops in the City*, where they will face elite competition at each Affiliation’s Rooftop court. Games, 3D Realms, and Slipgate Ironworks™, proudly present Project_Hel, an expansion for the million-selling first-person cyberpunk action game starring a new character. Project_Hel launches January 27, 2022, but eager fans can sign up here for a chance to enter an early private beta. Initially planned as a smaller DLC, Project_Hel has grown into a full-blown Ghostrunner experience. Take control of Hel, one of the original games’ bosses, as she descends Dharma Tower on a bloody quest of her own. Designed to appeal to new players and veterans, she’s more combat-oriented and can survive an additional attack compared to the Ghostrunner. 

Run on walls, soar through neon cityscapes, and slice through six levels while mastering Hel’s powers through her own ability progression system. This summer, Arnold’s bringing the holiday cheer!

Thursday 2^nd December – World  of Tanks has just dropped a trailer for its eagerly anticipated festive event, Holiday Ops 2022, and it features a true action hero, Arnold Schwarzenegger! For years, the forums and social media have been abuzz of tankers calling for Arnie to come to World of Tanks and while the team are keeping their cards close to their chest, it might just be the community’s dreams are coming true.

The trailer tells the story of Little Johnny and his letter, which had been left undelivered for almost 30 years. Even though it’s been three decades since it was sent, Arnold receives the message and knows exactly what he needs to do: get to his choppa and go visit Little Johnny. What happens when he arrives? Watch the trailer to find out!
